I was thinking about it a couple of weeks ago.  Grandson is going for his open heart surgery tomorrow, so it may be a few weeks before I can be available, but would love to meet up.

I also work during the week, but am up Portland way to visit kids and grandkids - So getting together also gives me a chance to visit them.  Anyone have any weekends free? I have to give my Saturday job 3 weeks notice to get the day off.

So is Olympia still a good central location?  September 14, 21 or 28th is good for me.  Maybe a later lunch-around 1:00?

I'm in Oregon - going up I-5 Chabba - I can pick you up on the way - I just get back from a corporate meeting in CA August 30th though - would like a bit of time before traveling again.  So the 21st or 28th seems better for me.

Thanks for askinf where  I am.  Afraid I'ld be a bit out of the way for any of you.  I live 90 miles due west of Olympia on the coast.  My strength and stamina have gotten so bad that my DH won't let me, and really I agree with him, drive the 40 mile round trip to the next town to shop.

Of the three weeks mentioned, I'm on-call on the 21st, so would personally prefer either the 14th or the 28th.  It looks like the 14th doesn't work for GMA, so maybe the 28th?  I'm in Tacoma.  Olympia works fine for me.

Sounds great!! 

I only know one restaurant in Olympia, Acqua Via.  It's small, though, and right downtown.  Easy to find, but hard to park, so maybe other people know more options.

Ladies, I will try to make it. Guess I go to daughters house in Battleground, WA friday night and then drive to Olympia on Sat?  I have no idea where I am going so you all are in charge of an easy place to park and get to because I get nervous in crowds...

No restaurant chosen that I know of.  How many of us will there be?  Will we need somewhere that takes reservations?  I'm open to any place.  Don't know what is in Olympia.

Thank you ! Well not sure I will make it or not .  I just got put on the alternate list for Casting for Recovery Which will be in the beginning of October.. They said someone always seems to drop out and I will probably be called.  But I might have to choose which one to got to, because we are short on funds and gas is kinda expensive.  I am still planning on coming but need to pray for a bit more money to do both.
