Sounding good. With our weather and holidays early spring seems like something to shoot for. Chabba said there have been at least a dozen responses so far. I know there are more out there from other threads. Maybe they haven't seen it yet.
-
I live in Shoreline, WA. I have a clinical site in Vancouver, WA and travel there once a month. I also like to go to the coast with my husband while he SUPs. Saturdays are good for me with planning.
-
Alrighty then!!! We've got a Saturday, we've got Olympia, we've got after the holidays!! Since some might be coming over passes, should we wait until March when the storm season is usually over, or would January or February work? (my criteria - I'm on vacation until the middle of January, and have a business trip scheduled for the last week of February, but any other weekend would be fine.)
-
I live in Shoreline as well(hi maryah930!). Maybe mary and I could carpool!
Saturdays are good for me. I don't like to drive too far in crappy weather-but who can predict that!

bump this
Shall we plan for February?
-
Feb is ok with me. Grandson's 3rd b- day is on the 3rd and I will be in Battleground WA, so I would be closer :-)
BTW - had another surgery today. Had to get rid of my seroma that wasn't healing. -
SHould we plan for the 4th of February? Any ayes or nays???
-
I'm agreeable to most any date, just hope I can figure out a way to get there! Got a couple of ideas so we'll see.
-
Let's keep bumping the thread for awhile and see if anyone cannot make that date - or whatever.
So February 4..... All you NW ladies - speak up!!!
-
Will try!!!
-
Sounds good to me at the moment. Anyone in the Portland area that wants to carpool, lets talk!
-
I am flexible. Whatever date works for most will probably work for me.
-
I would love to meet up with you all.
I live in Pullman, Wa east part of the state, but I had my surgery in Seattle.
I am open to getting together on a weekend.
I, too, will make this a favorite.

February 4th sounds good to me. JRyan, I'll be coming up I-5 so I could meet up with you in Portland. I have my exchange surgery next Friday. I'm feeling very relaxed about this surgery. Hope you ladies have a good weekend. Looks like the rain has arrived for awhile. I hate the gray skies but I really like the green fields.
-
Feb 4th sounds excellent. I can pick up anyone between Rochester, I5 exit 88, & Olympia at whatever metting place you settle on.

Feb. 4th is a Monday....I thought we were talking Saturdays.
Mary
-
YramAL - I thought so too. Mondays are out for me.
-
I think Mondays are out for most of us,How about Feb. 2?
-
The 2nd is fine as of now.
-
The 2nd works for me. I didn't even check to see if the 4th was a Saturday, just assumed. Oh, well.
-
Me too! I guess that's what we get for assuming
-
The 2nd sounds fine to me. I will put it on my calendar.
-
Ok with me too.
-
Last chemo the Jan 25th..,will do my best.
-
whoooopppsss - my fault - I was looking at a 2012 calendar
. Thanks for catching it. February 2nd it is. Anybody have anything against groundhog day?
Does anyone know restaurants in Olympia? I only know of a couple. One is VERY small, the other is Anthony's (I'm not sure exactly where it is, just that there is an Anthony's there.)
-
There is an Olive Garden, Applebee's, Red Lobster, Panera, Outback, Ihop and Anthony's. Not sure if they have ares where we could set up. I guess it wil depend on how many, what time etc.
-
OK - since we have the date - what time?
-
