Finish my sentence...

I live by myself so I eat what I want but when I lived out east I had a lot of Asian friends so I often ate RICE because everyone else liked it! 

The one (or more) summer activity that I haven't had a chance to do yet that I really enjoy is ....

volunteering...work prevents that but when I can fully retire I would love to be more involved in programs mentoring young children...catch them early enough and you may be able to circumvent a life mis-spent.

When it comes to shopping for clothes, I am a................

sneakers.  (my good shoes are moccasins)

I'd rather be comfortable than fashionable, except when it comes to ...

staying home and having my chef DH cook me a meal, rather than going out to eat.

When we do go out to eat, I like to order ...

by a fire talking with good friends. 

When I am at home a special dinner is....

a derecho (a severe wind storm) two years ago.  It was 20 minutes of 80-100 mph winds.  They called it an inland hurricane. It was horrible!  And took out most of the 100 year oak trees (as well as most of the big trees) within 100 miles. 

My favorite part of this past weekend was...

Sunday because it usually means gathering with friends/family or a day to relax after a busy week. 

My plans for today are...........

almost too attentive at the beginning, now we are back to our plain old normal 'married for a long time' roles (which is good).

Since my diagnosis, the person that has helped me the most is........

BCO has been like a salvation for me because it helped me to choose the right options for me going through my diagnosis and the decisions I had to make.  Also, to have a group of women who understand exactly how I feel and can relate to me.

The thing I never expected to come out of my cancer diagnosis is....

A great place to have a picnic is......

The Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, LA.  It was/is purported to be haunted and by golly it was, my girlfriends and I experienced some ghostly situations there.  The owner, a single man in his 30's, was holed up in his apartment, never came out while we were there (odd for a B&B) and we later read that he was hospitalized for mental issues...he sold the place after that.
