I live by myself so I eat what I want but when I lived out east I had a lot of Asian friends so I often ate RICE because everyone else liked it!

a derecho (a severe wind storm) two years ago. It was 20 minutes of 80-100 mph winds. They called it an inland hurricane. It was horrible! And took out most of the 100 year oak trees (as well as most of the big trees) within 100 miles.

The Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, LA. It was/is purported to be haunted and by golly it was, my girlfriends and I experienced some ghostly situations there. The owner, a single man in his 30's, was holed up in his apartment, never came out while we were there (odd for a B&B) and we later read that he was hospitalized for mental issues...he sold the place after that.
