Here is a memento from my grandparents that is cool; after my grandparents died, my aunt continued to live in their house. She recently passed away and I inherited a picture from the house. It's a pastoral scene and the painter's name is on a little plaque on the frame. I googled his name and found he was a popular painter during the early 1900s and people could purchase his paintings with Green Stamps. So I am sure that is how my grandparents (who had no extra money) came to have this picture!
