Ok Ladies, This is from Marybe - she wanted it posted so here it is.
An older lady named Ida was somewhat lonely since her cat died and decided she needed another pet to keep her company. So, off to the pet shop she went. She searched and searched. None of the pets seemed to catch her interest, except this ugly frog. As she walked by the jar he was in, she looked and he winked at her.
He whispered, 'I'M SO LONELY, TOO. BUY ME AND TAKE ME HOME.. YOU WON'T EVER BE SORRY.'
Ida figured, what the heck! She hadn't found
anything else. So she bought the frog. She placed
him in the car, on the front seat beside her.
As she was slowly driving down the road, the frog whispered to her 'KISS ME AND YOU WON'T BE SORRY..'!
So, Ida figured, WHAT THE HECK, and kissed the frog.
IMMEDIATELY the frog turned into an absolutely gorgeous, sexy, young, handsome prince
THE PRINCE THEN RETURNED IDA'S KISS.
SUDDENLY IDA FELT HERSELF
TRANSFORMING FROM HIS KISS. NOW
CAN YOU GUESS WHAT IDA TURNED INTO?
COME ON GUESS!
SHE TURNED INTO
the first Holiday Inn
SHE COULD FIND!!!
She's old...... NOT DEAD!!!!!

Thanks for the morning chuckle. Hugs, Nancy
-
I can't see the pictures, but the joke is great, thanks
-
Thank you AmyJo....I could not figure out how to copy it and thought the ladies would enjoy it. Lisa, I thought you would be en route by now. Are you going to buy your grandson some little wooden shoes? ..although if he is playing board games guess he would be too old for those.
-
amy jo:i got the email from marybe, but dont know how to do what you did.. its' a hysterical joke, so thanks, marybe, for trying to get it to us..
now, take a lesson from amy jo, and you'll have another feather in your cap, computer wise. i may try later, im still trying to figure out some stuff on my computer, yet, here...
hope Lisa is off to a GREAT ADVENTURE!!!!(with lots of pictures, of that im sure!!!) 3jays

Lisa, have a lovely trip, sorry I'm late with the bon voyage, I just forgot !
We need lots of photos.
Isabella.

OK, so what happened to the pic of the hunk the frog turned into and why was it deleted by photobucket? I saw it when you first put the post on earlier.....is this a patent thing or was it censored? I am not feeling like a very lively older woman this evening...these 7 AM start days are wearing me out....so I am going to take a nap because t hat sounds a lot better than dinner right now .
-
I'll check into what happened, DD#2 sometimes uses my photobucket and deletes some of my silly stuff so that may be what happened. If so Ill put them back and tell her to leave them alone.
edited to add - She had not done anything to the photos in photobucket so I do not know what happened. Deleted the other one and posted it again.
-
He's back Amy!!.....and so is the pic of the Holiday Inn so I don't know what's up....guess DD didn't think mom was being too risque after all!!

Loved it!!! Lisa, I think you're already on your way, but know that I would have added my Bon Voyage had I been here in time!
-
How adorable!! I would have done the same thing. HOTTIE!
Lisa is winging her way to Holland. Please. Lisa, we need LOTS of tulip pix. I love them and they will now grow here in FL unless I buy a pot of them and refrigerate the bulbs when spent then try to start them in the spring.
-
I do love the frog story, made me laugh.
-
Alyson- that was the point - to give everyone a giggle or at least a smile.
-
Alyson, so glad your scan is done. Yuck. Please let us know when you get the results. Prayers for you!
-
Barbara - I love the Georgia Aquarium - did you know it's the largest aquarium in the world? It was donated to the city of Atlanta by one of the founders of Home Depot. They always have nice parties there. Haven't been to the new World of Coke, although it's a few years old. Isn't that always the way...
Had a nice, quiet time at the beach. Wish I was still there, I came home to a mess and have been working on everything non-stop since! Taxes, for one thing...should have taken care of that before I left, for sure!
This weekend is the Dogwood Festival - I had planned on going but I think the stress since I got back has worn me out. I'm going to cancel my plans and turn off the phone and try to re-charge again, because there's big problems coming up next week regarding my mother's estate and sibling rivalry. It's ridiculous - you would think we were still teenagers or something!
-
Oh, HnS, I feel your pain. When it comes to money, all bets are off.
-
Lisa should be on her crusie ship floating down the river past fields of tulips by now.
-
Gosh I need a drink to calm my nerves waiting for scan results. Hopefully it will be another fibrous cyst that is benign.
Loved to be in Holland, was there years ago but not at tulip time.
