Spirited and Lively Older Women Thread
I wanted to start a thread for spirited and lively older women. Heck, we may be older but we are far from dead. We have lots to say and do so let's get together and do it!

Hi Barbara ... I think I qualify cause I'm still breathing!
Bren
-
Hi! I think this a great idea.!
-
Don't know how much spirit I have left in me after a hard day's work, but here I is. I look forward to seeing a lot of our pals on here.
-
Hi Bren, Long time no see!!
You wouldn't believe we drove home from Palm Desert yesterday
crossing the mountain at Anza..we hit snow and lots of it..and it was
cold..for us anyhow...
We had a lively time at the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament
lots of new players..
We went to a party and I saw this sign
so lets all live it up!!
-
Wow, Barbara, you drank a whole pitcher of beer and now you're starting a new thread. You certainly are spirited and lively! I'm in - sounds like fun. I've just been biding my time and waiting for something like this! Thanks
-
Hi Lisa ... I love Palm Desert. Amazing how the weather can change down there. Hot in the desert and snow at the top of the mountain lift in Palm Springs!
Bren
-
Lisa - my dd lives in Truckee and they had 71 new inches of snow at her house yesterday - on top of the old snow. Glad you're not getting that, aren't you? Edited to add that I love your pics!
-
I am totally in. Am I old enough to join? I am 51 but sometimes feel like 80!
-
Janice - you can be the mascot. LOL
-
Hi there from downunder. Some days I feel real old and other days just can't imagine where the years have gone. Can't believe that I will 62 on Friday.
Just about to go out for lunch, won't do beer but looking forward to some wine. My brother is over from Australia so willhave to drink with him, he has a great taste in wines.
-
wow Alyson..just what we need. a spirited birthday party!!
One of the sponsors of the tennis tournament last week was
Corona Beer..
-
Ok Barbara, how old is old?
Jan
-
Beer? Count me in, gals!
Kathy
-
QCA... Beer ?? No, make mine white wine!!
3jays has a birthday this week so we could have a cyber party.
Isabella.
-
Oh, sorry, missed that Alyson will also be having a birthday, so its double celebrations all round
Isabella.
-
-
It ain't the age,,,,it's the giddy-up or giddy-down that counts. As long as we do both in style!!! So good to have a new home!! Now we all get to decorate it!! Big Hugs, SV

I'll be 60 in October, is that old enough and tomorrow will be my 4 yr cancerversary.
-
Add my name to the list, although lively come and goes and spirited - much the same. I will not claim oldest as 65, but feel like 105 some days. Count me in for a cold beer once it reaches 90 degrees outside. Hugs, Nancy
-
Looks like we're getting alot of party goers! Whoo Hoo!
Barbara, see what you've started?
Jan
-
Take your pick
-
Who said I'm old?
-
I am an oldie but goodie
-
Deb:
Congratulations!!!! I'll be 60 in November
Jan
-
I'll be 64 in August so I'm right behind you, Nancy. My mind is only 35, though.
-
Jan, I am so glad you brought the cake....I have been trying to get one to paste on here, but it won't allow me and we need it because Alyson's birthday is tomorrow and we will all be sound asleep when her big day arrives. I am baking cookies so will bring those. A cyber party for both gals sounds like a great idea.
-
I recently turned 61, which I used to think was old. It's not. And Lisa, make mine a light. If you don't have beer, Isabella, I can do white wine when I'm trying to appear more "cultured"!
Double birthday party--I'm all for it. Yay Alyson and 3jays!
Kathy
-
Well, when Gina is awake and we are asleep - will she ALL the cake before we get up?
Happy Birthday Gina!!!!!!
Jan
-
We must have two birthday cakes...
