Enjoyed ALL the entries. Especially those giving ideas on what should happen upon the Loon's demise. He truly does make manure shine Ruth. It is amazing that one person could be so enormously self focused. Had anyone ever opined upon an idea like that I would have thought it impossible. The Loon has love for self beyond the pale.
Makes is doubly hard for me to think so many people think he is the ' ahem ' the person for them. Obviously they have errant brain cells or don't have enough to begin with. Selfish people are never REALLY going to be for you and the fact that they are fine under Loon's banner, I would just have to say they will deserve what they may have paid for and not gotten. Welcome to the world of losers.
Yes, that iron lung. Another belief shattered. I would not have believed that people would turn away from highly established medicine just so they could be 'good' political people. Another tragedy. Can only hope that once the more correct way of life ( hopefully it will in fact happen ) and scientists and highly trained medical individuals are held in the esteem they deserve, that people will come to their senses.

When I first graduated from nursing school I was a pediatric nurse who worked in the Infectious Disease ward. We had a storeroom with several iron lungs in reserve and one of my nursing supervisors once told me the story of how during a power outage she had to help manually pump the iron lung of a young child. Fortunately I never saw one in use though we had a weird intern who thought sleeping in one was great because the mattresses were so good. Of course, he scared the living daylights out of the night shift who were unaware that he was sleeping in that room which they used to take their breaks. They heard strange noises coming from the room and called me wanting me to explore to determine what it was. I called security and they found him. He was told to find a new place to sleep.
Ruthbru: Your comment lauding manure was a treat and I am still laughing.

So I was at the grocery store and saw a lady who was wearing a shirt with the blue lives matter flag and overlayed on top of that flag graphic was a big pink ribbon. I mean what does that even mean?
All types of the Blues lives matters flags disgust me as they are all divisive crap. We already have a flag that you are supposed to pledge allegiance to and it ain't the blue lives matter flag.

Manchin Threatens to Leave Democratic Party Over Social Infrastructure Bill
William Rivers Pitt, Truthout
Joe Manchin wants Democrats to peel their own bill down to nothing. Call his bluff.

The ideals which have lighted me on my way and time after time given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. . . . The ordinary objects of human endeavor -- property, outward success, luxury -- have always seemed to me contemptible. -Albert Einstein

Of course they are working hard to block it since Bannon is being put up for contempt chgs. Those who were in the hotel on Jan 5th. plotting with him for the next day's activities. They are shaking in their boots.
-
Isn't this Manchin's bill and where were those Reps. that were going to vote with him on it. Must have all been related to Houdini.

another look at our covid issues. It is getting by with the mandates, but we are still hearing the few who insist they don't have to and for the most part if they have that kind of death wish so be it. But they should have to read this and other pieces like if often if not daily.

Wonder how many "my pillows" you have to sell to make $1.6 billion? That's a definite and loud "no" on a "go fund me" for him.
-
I am happy that he is a recovering addict but the drugs did some cognitive damage

Mike Lyndell, you don't look very restful on your pillows there, dude. Big downgrade on the clothes too. Looks like the orange guy isn't too keen on lending you a hand or a hand-out.

I sent that meme to my niece, who suggested that Mike should market the box with the catchphrase 'My Cell'.

With freedom comes responsibility. We hear very little these days about responsibility but a lot about "it's my freedom not to wear a mask." Well, it's also our responsibility to our loved ones, to our fellow citizens who struggle with their health. We live in a free country today because people felt a responsibility to their country. People fought and died for our freedoms. We have the freedom to express ourselves. We have the right to vote. We have a free press.
We are strong because we help one another.
Let's continue to think about our neighbors, our co-workers, our fellow citizens. People struggle with their health at all ages. May we do all we can to help keep one another safe. This is a beyond partisan message, it's an American message! Let's go! #abovethenoise -
Very fitting!
After Trump announced his new social media platform "Truth," Washington Post Tech reporter Drew Harrell noted the platform had already been hacked before its release.

A woman once told me that she did not feel the need to reach out to those around her because she prayed every day. Surely, this was enough. But a prayer is about our relationship to God; a blessing is about our relationship to the spark of God in one another. God may not need our attention as badly as the person next to us on the bus or behind us in line in the supermarket. Everyone in the world matters, and so do their blessings. When we bless others, we offer them refuge from an indifferent world. -Rachel Naomi Remen

Me laughing about " Truth " from the pig's derriรจre. So Loon like not to realize that his standing, at any time in him horrid life , was marginal always and is at this point even less. His only importance to a broad section of the world is just being mocked for his uselessness. To take a line from a movie - he is a boil on the butt of humanity and nothing else. He, the plague, and boils could disappear and never be missed.

That's an OOPS !!!

This is slapping a big ol' grin on my face and keeping it there because he had to pay it to a Progressive! But I guess a teeny tiny yay for him sort of keeping his promise.

I'd be interested not in a GoFundMe for Lindell--but rather a GoFu..Yourself.
