Alice, I don't think you did, but it is a keeper. I do hope as we get closer ( for now it offers some help with the idiotic Reps. and their non focus on what they have done for their constituents ) that it becomes apparent that the Loon won't be an acceptable candidate for '24. I did read on the way here that having got a referral on Bannon should be a good as there are a number of others involved, but since all took place at the Willard Hotel and that hotel room was paid for by the Loon's campaign, that makes Loon heavily implicated and subject to chgs.
I did not copy and paste the article as I do think it is available to all here. I also think there are other items that point to the Loon's heavy involvement in the attempt to overturn a fair and free election. It will keep us able to gather negative publicity to use as long as Loony keeps up his pretense that he is going to run. He knows he is in deep doo-doo and losing steam by the day with the Reps. and that there are hosts of issues ( depositions for lawsuits started prior to his losing/leaving office ) that are coming and danger from SDNY and others. Can't be sure when the hammer of Thor may come crashing down. His off-spring should be worried as well. Only time will tell -- even if it is soooo difficult at times to be patient.

Just as gardeners cultivate their plots, keeping them free from weeds, and growing the flowers and fruits which they require, so may a person tend the garden of his or her mind, weeding out all the wrong, useless, and impure thoughts, and cultivating toward perfection the flowers and fruits of right, useful, and pure thoughts. By pursuing this process, a person sooner or later discovers that he or she is the master-gardener of his or her soul, the director of his or her life.

It does sound like Bannon is the only one not actually co-operating. Still at this point, I'm not all confidence for what the co-operation will turn out to be. Wondering if there are any deal makers in this small crowd.

The guy pictured sure filled that bill to the tee.

This is a very interesting article in Rolling Stone.

The Rolling Stone article is sickening in that the members of Congress who participated in this insurrection had sworn an oath to protect the Constitution. There is little difference between their actions and those of historical traitors and they are not fit to serve as representatives. What is this country coming to? They must not prevail.

Whoever said that those who don't remember the past are doomed to repeat it was absolutely correct. It is very disheartening.
On a 'maybe the needle is moving, and things will be better in the future' note; I attended a wedding last weekend. The son of one of my best friends got married to a dentist. Two of her attendants are also dentists and one a pharmacis. The entire female side of the Wedding Party were women who have earned the title of 'Doctor'. Made my feminist heart happy!

Ruth, what a great affirmation of educated women!
Last week I watched Family Feud. A middle aged woman was in the Fast Money bonus round.
The very first question was: “We asked 100 women, of the 9 justices on the Supreme Court, how many should be women?
She gave it half a second thought and said, “Nine!"
I said out loud, “Wwwow! “ I know its just a game show but I was so impressed with her answer! And I got to thinking, ohmygosh, would that not be incredible if someday we did have nine women on the Supreme Court?
-
Since no one was ever surprised when we had nine male judges, I hope the day will come when no one is suprised if all nine happen to be female!

Yes, because as far as I can remember none of them cried during their confirmation hearing or suppressed others to gain their seat. Plus they would preserve the sanctity of the uterus.

Illusions command themselves to us because they save us pain and allow us to enjoy pleasure instead. We must therefore accept it without complaint when they sometimes collide with a bit of reality against which they are dashed to pieces. -Sigmund Freud

I'll try later to start posting more. Have had to work extra at my Dr. friends house as there is a medical issue going on there. So, I'm juggling a lot of things to keep going and not able to drop as much here as I normally would. As to what is going lately -- just wow. From not letting up on the Alec Baldwin issue to the insanity of the Reps. Just nearly un-believable. See you soon, I hope.

True and I wish they'd think about the possibility of doing just that. Election time is coming for some of them.

The Un-Presidential con artist himself. And it all happened before I LIVED to be 100 which figure I likely won't reach of course.
It is extremely repulsive to me that the word President has ever come before his name.

Never thought of it that way but it sure is right.
