Cats, cats, cats

Cats are picky and they like the worst foods the most. Mine won't touch all those premium foods with good ingredients. I think Colby's appetite is doing well today. I fed him about 5am so he'd shut up and I could get back to sleep. DH didn't know this and fed him again about 7. When I let him out, he'd eaten all his overnight food and both the morning servings. Making up for lost time, I guess.

Hmm Spooks that speaks well of your grand kitties

Wren, yes I thnk you could stop that sentence there at "cats are picky" and it would fit almost any cat!
-
Oh, gorgeous, Deb AL! Yes, the Whiskas Temptations are quite popular. They get about 5 apiece in the morning and 5 in the evening. Phoebe likes to beg for more and she has this hilarious, low-pitched sad meow, and pitiful face.
-
I found this on the dog food site. Maybe the kitty moms can find this useful.
-
oh these guys, still just as lovee even in the summer!
-
LOL, that tongue!

We took Squeakers to the clinic for his nuclear treatment for hypothyroid yesterday. Went down to get him today. He was pretty happy to get home. DH gave him a long visit in the back yard. He loves to bask in the sun and eat grass. He's mildly radioactive for 2 weeks. They say not to get close for more than 1 hour a day to cut down our exposure to radiation (lifetime). At our age we figure radiation is the least of our worries.

Best wishes for a happy cat, present and future.

Lazy Sunday!
-
Hey everyone,
My sweet kitty passed away in Feb and I was devastated. She had been a part of our family for 14 years. On Sat this lil fella wandered into our lives. We were having a cookout and he walked right out of the woods (we live way out in the country) up to my son. One of his eyes were swollen shut with infection and the other one was infected as well. He was covered in tiny ticks. So after a vet visit he's all good now. I think he was meant to be a part of our family.
-
Awe so cute! Congrats! He's adorable.
-
kmajor: yes, one walks out, one walks in. Two walked into my life, a sister and brother.
-
He's adorable and definitely has chosen you. I'm glad he found a kind person. They are so vulnerable at that age.
-
Oh, what a cutie!
-
I agree, adorable kitten!
-
Thanks everyone he'll definately get a bunch of loving around here. I'm glad he found us. My pomapoo isn't to happy about it lol but she'll grow to love him to.
-
Kmajor how lucky for your little one that he found you!! Congratulations.
DebAl loving the Lazy Sunday.
Riley702, Elliott is a domestic short hair of no particular pedigree but he reminds me so much of an Ocelot! He has a really long nose, lean body and little spots all on his tummy.
-
SO pretty! Give his tummy a smooch.

Such a rough life...

Boy it's tough
