-

-
This was our summer home in Cape May Beach, NJ...he loved the pool.....
-
Ducky- great photos of your husband. He was very handsome man. I remember you shared about your loss and his passing from pancreatic cancer and all you went through. Gone too soon.
I especially like the photos by the pool. Memories of summers on the east coast.
-
Very handsome, ducky!
-
Thanks ladies............he was very handsome....even when we first met.....don't think the man every had a bad looking day......he was a Construction Worker, and even looked good in work boots, jeans, and his hard hat.........LOL
Can't wait for the summer........said I promise never to say "its hot again"..........this has been brutal here on the East coast, and we have more snow tonight.............Now they call 3 inches a dusting........not sure if it is still snowing.......all the old crap isn't gone, and we have new........
Many still don't have electricity or heat, and here we go again........then they said snow, freezing rain on Wednesday into Thursday........ugh..............hugs
-
Ducky- I hope you get a break from the snow. I know the east coast is very fatigued with the storms. We got our first snow here last week in almost two months and were glad to see it. Now it is warm and dry again. We need the snow here for water supply, so we wish for more snow as you wish for it to end. We just need mother nature to redistribute her moisture to us and leave you guys alone!
I have friends and family all over the east coast and they all are saying "enough already!" Stay warm and remember that spring is coming!

Hi hermits- I love working from home. Less stress and more productivity. Plus there are a lot of germs around the client site with the flu, respiratory issues, etc.
I do know Yahoo has had a lot of account thefts. One of my friends in TX has been hacked several times. I think I got hacked on my old netscape AOL account too as I get links from people I know, but it is not from them. UGH!
CC- how nice to join something that donates to a charity you care about. I like that.
-
I am not going anywhere I treasure each and every one of you...
Good idea jazzy...take care of yourself...
sorry I haven't been around I have only 1 good day which is tuesday....but checked today...you guys have been busy

Really great link here about kids who go read to cats in a shelter. Gonna melt your heart!
-
Blondie- good to hear from you, I hope you are doing okay. One good day does not sound like enough to me, but think you are still doing chemo?
We are here for you.
-
OK taking a chance here - had my trauma session tonight, spoke about why i am not getting past PTSD and the reason is for want of a label i am in Present trauma.....as its such a long recon period with fat transfer and complications I´ve had I am in ongoing traumatic stress situations.....no wonder I find it so hard to find the energy for day to day stuff.......
Hope all are doing well, Dwill how did it go?
Ducky - what a hunk you had for years.......
Blondie how goes it
Hi to everyone...trying not to hermit from hermits......
-
Lily..........He was a hunk.........have no idea how I ever landed him.......the line was long, but I managed to get him.........LOL.........
He was 57 when he died...........ready to retire, kids grown, and all but 1 married......ready to enjoy the good life at our shore home, and had 9 grandchildren at the time.........just was not to be.......
9 more grandchildren were born after he died, and 3 G. grandchildren....with another on the way.....he missed so much.........yet lived to enjoy some........

Lily this is the day we were married......wanted to make at least 50 years......made 35......
-
Lily that makes sense, there is so much u'r still going thru it's very difficult to have a good day let alone just pick up u'r emotions and know it's over--when it isn't--For some it's a very long laborious time and days feeling good are rare and I think that's what gets to you. I seems hopeless at the time, but it's not--I remember once asking my BS if I was ever going to feel better and all he said was --Oh u'll feel better, but I can't promise u 'll feel like u used to---it's true all the way around and I always appreciated honesty when I ask a real question. So we do heal, our bodies are amazing and we heal emotionally too. I think better. But we all understand so just don't "hermit from the hermits" cuz we know.

CCFW, happy to hear that you were not switching internet carriers because of a security breach.
blondie, when you say one good day, I hope that you mean you are busy and not that health issues are keeping you down.
dwill, how are you doing?
Lilly55, hoping that talking in your trauma session proves helpful for you. I have my support group Wednesday night and am hoping it helps with my anxiety which seems a little more active lately.
duckyb1, it sounds like you and your husband had a wonderful life together ... full of fun and family and love. That wedding pic is wonderful. Both of your smiles express such love and happiness.
Jazzy, hi.
cami, thanks for sharing this from your BS, "Oh u'll feel better, but I can't promise u'll feel like you used to." I needed to hear that today.

I am fed up to the back teeth with hearing about the "new normal" - there is NOTHING normal about how I am feeling two years on........and I never want this to feel normal
