first Lily, thanks for the doggy advice,,,'I give her an egg in the morning, and she gobbles it up, but her food....no......she is pooping so she is not blocked.....She is chubby, so maybe she is living off her own fat....drinking plenty of water....one time I watched my daughters dog. (Honeymoon 1 full week)the dog did not eat for 7 days....guess like us they miss people too.....
Now you.....this cancer crap is tough...the AI's kill me...I Am on letrozole and always in pain......depressed for sure, and some days think..why am I bothering...this is not living,, but when I think of the alternative somehow it shakes me into reality...........there are too many people I love who are counting on me and who love me back to give in.........I take no pain meds, or anything for depression........my life is a pill.....not taking another one.
So if you need support, please ask, vent, talk....it helps...the ladies here are wonderful...you are not alone....hugs, and love...
-
thanks Ducky, its not just cancer, i have a vascular disease putting me at much higher risk of stroke, only one kidney left, and that has had interventions as nearly lost it a few years ago, something going on with heart, degenerative disk disease, numerous allergies and sensitivities to drugs and cannot breathe as eadily since this last infection, i dont matter enough to anyone to really feel i have something to carry on for........i cannot get excited about anything ....sorry makes me sound self pitying, but i do feel worn out and done
-
Lilly, wow, you have had more than your share of health problems. Who wouldn't feel worn out? All I can say is take it one day at a time. You've made it this far. You must be one tough cookie.
Ditto what Ducky said.....
"So if you need support, please ask, vent, talk....it helps...the ladies here are wonderful...you are not alone....hugs, and love..."

Lily55, Hi!
I started with BC diagnosis typing up health information and just handing to the nurse for charting.
I always make sure doctors know that I still have ovaries.
I did use your abbreviation "ABs" in a post to, LaurieParr.
Take Care!!
-
Lily.....please hang in there..you matter me, and all the ladies here.
We call that being in the basement.......it is deep and it is dark.......let us take you by the hand and lead you toward the way out....it is not easy.....but you are worth the walk back up the stairs..
Just keep posting...we will be here for you....love and hugs......
You have been through so much........your tough..
-
For Cami!
-
Lily I'm going to bump an old thread for you. I don't know how to post a link. It's called you know you are a cancer patient when. Look for it in active topics. I laughed till I cried. Maybe you can get a laugh too. You may need Togo to page 2 or 3 to find it
But do look. It's a hoot!

Thanks Peeps and Sally being idiots, got into a fight, whatever they are 20 does it ever stop, george has a swollen lip...
Lily, sorry that you are feeeling down in the dumps, I get it tho....we are here, maybe not enough but still here to listen...
Jazzy did you eat the torte yet?
Mary thinking of you!!
hey ducky ready for the snow, they are saying around 4 and keep changing the amounts...
going to walmart in a bit george wants to buy food, with his own money, food stamps don't come til the 10th, they are doing it different this year splitting it up into 2 payments...anyway
going to get something to eat and it is my intention to make lazagna for dinner, trying...again chemo tomorrow (keep saying that) lol, nurse just left and occupational therapy coming for the last visit shortly.....want DQ but don't feel like driving there....it is like 33 out really cold!!!
-
Blondie u don't have the storm yet??? It's going good here, plenty of snow and some blowing. Not good driving either.
Oh Lily u've had more than enough health problems and I can imagine u feel so down, but to say u don't mean anything is certainly a mistake. U mean something to anyon that u touched in life and we all worry about u when we don't hear from u, and we've never met--so u do mean a lot in this world, or u would never have been here. As far as cancer it will get better for u--we all feel down sometimes but u know it passes and u need to meditate maybe with soothing aromas around--that's so calming and reassuring-u wake up u senses of well being. Do u see any type of therapist, cuz that might help u a lot. U need to push u'rself to find help and let them do the rest. Please try.
Jazzy thanks for the pic, I appreciate it. LOL And u sound like u have worn u'rself out not even knowing at the time--whenever u can do for you, no one else and try o rest--even if u don't sleep--relax and don't go on the computer-It's to distracting when u need rest. Relax with u'r music, that would be delightful for u.
-
yes i do have therapy, with a trauma specialist, but its only via skype.......i would love a group of women but there are none....
-
Lily I'm sorry cuz I thought that would really be good for u, well I hope u do tell u'r therapist exactly how u feel all the time and maybe that will help--but we re here Lily, not like we're sitting with each other but I hope this helps u.

X-mas is packed away!
-
We came in about an hour ago. It's getting really ugly out there. Lilli, you & Cami could have kept this weather in Illinois. We have about 5 inches of snow so far, but temps are dropping really fast, the snow is blowing hard. We're under a winter advisory for -9 wind chills & more snow & ice.
Brrrrrr
-
Paula we ended up with about 9 in. with more coming I think and super cold at the beginning of the week. ugh
-
it is snowing now saying 4- 7 inches.....whatever..
-
is it almost summer yet? I'm ready! Brrr.
-
grammaB, thanks for the info on low carb diets.
Dinner is ready but I will be back.
-
Hi hermits- work is done for the week (thank god). I am just really over the whole scene lately. Tomorrow I am going in to have car #1 checked out for an oil leak. Going to come after and take it slow tomorrow (Cami is right, feeling worn out).
Blondie- yes, we ate the torte at the jam session. Not much left, but left it with the host. It was delicious. I gave up sugar/desserts back in Sept but allowed myself a small piece.
Teka- good job on getting Xmas back in the box. What is next Valentines Day?
Lily- thinking of you. I noticed in my city there were all these support groups listed, but not one for breast cancer. I was surprised. But you have us here to listen and care. And we do care and hoping you feel better soon.
Hermits in the path of the big storm, be safe, stay warm. Fingers crossed for no power outages.
-
February 14th, Valentine's Day and eating out.
I am burnt out from the Holidays!
-
My bro in law sent this today. He's in Cinti. It's pretty, but I'm very happy to be here!
-
I wish I was there with you!

Philly is getting hammered......
-
65 and VERY windy. Come on down!
-
Wish Hubby & I were snowbirds ;o)
-
Lily, thinking about you. Know that all of us here care for you and would be so sad if you weren't around here.
Hermies getting hammered with the weather, be safe if you have to go out into the weather. I know how treacherous it can be.
Hugs
