-
Lily55,
I am so sorry, but have no idea the meaning of no more ABs?
Please, seek out whatever treatment will give you peace in 2014.
-
Yay Soteria!!! I'm so happy for you!
(((Lily))) I too don't know what ABs are. I had thought I had finally got all the lingo down too.
-
Hey, Camille. Had to just hide for a while. Not myself. Glad for all the pocketing. The smiles helped me out of my shell.
-
Skittle,
We could use a gentler 2014.
-
Skittle, oh chit I thought u were just busy, I didn't know u felt down--u'r feeling better now right. Did anything happen, or just those kind of days?
Lily the only thing I came up with were Aunti-Bees, for AB's but what do u mean, what going on.
Paula I'm not buying anyone dinner I nearly suffocated today with no cute Drs. to save me, even Tho Teka thinks nothing of poking at my eyes every single time I'm in a pocket with her.

Dear, dear friend died on Thanksgiving day... He was 41, sweetest guy ever. Had an amazing life. Brain cancer. (He was actually on the national news--Taco Bell...)
Then, the day before our class Christmas party... one of my students lost his mom to domestic violence. The world has gone crazy.
So sad. Just so sad.
-
Skittle,
Angry World!!
-
OMG Skittle I'm so sorry u lost u'r friend, so young, much to young--What a horrible thing to have happen to him and all the people who loved him.
And that poor boy, Oh how will he survive such an awful thing to happen to his mom. What a nitemare.
Of course u needed u'r alone time take as much as u need, Skittle I am truly sorry for u.
-
Skittle, sympathy to you on the loss of your friend and the hurt to your student.
-
oh my goodness, skittle. i am so sorry for them and for you witnessing these events so close to you. it does seem the world is more &more off balance. i for sure second camis' motion for a better 2014, that 13 was bad news. i am gonna kick it so hard with anderson cooper & kathy gifford in times square, directly on it's a$$, on its way out the door. and hold the sweet young baby new one, so gently and prayerfully, for all of us.all over the world, for all its troubles of every kind. i guess we are all getting older, and i am kinda sorta starting to believe that it does start to wear us down, till the end comes as a relief, in a way. but lily, please cannot you ask your doctor for something to help ease your mind, and get you through this temporarily? you ARE getting through it. i am just sad for you. and i am covered in lint & there is an M&M stuck to my cheek from that pocket. i am saving it for later.
-
Oh Skittle, I am so sorry for your loss and the tragedy that young child has endured. I agree the world seems crazy! I can't wait for this year to be over!! Wishing for a far better 2014 for all of us!!
-
So that's where my last M&M disappeared to!
-
Skittle the daughter of a woman in my church was badly beaten by her drunken boyfriend a few weeks ago. She was in ICU in a coma for about 10 days. Now she's in a nursing home getting physical therapy. She can't talk, but communicates with her eyes. Thank God the turd is still in jail. I hope he stays there.

Come on 2014.
-
ABs are antibiotics!
So much negativity around right now, i hope 2014 is better for everyone, i am not partying but hiding out!
-
OK, ABs should be added to abbreviations.
-
Happy New Year's Eve Day everyone ... be safe. I am headed out to lunch with an old friend ... long time friend ... nothing fancy ... but good memories.
Does anyone know if Aquafor Healing Ointment stains clothing?
-
I was told YES by a nurse in the Radiation Department!
-
I used Aquaphor during rads. I didn't have any problems with it staining my bras, but if it does, Dawn Dish soap will get it out. I keep a bottle of Dawn by the washer to treat any greasy stains.
Paula

May 2014 be gentle with us all.
Enjoy times out with friends and quiet times, as well...
I count each of you as blessings throughout whatever is to come. And thank you all for your kindnesses. I pray all scans, tests, and procedures yield good results and less invasion. (((hermits)))

Skittle- we are glad to hear from you, but also sad to hear your news. I am so sorry about the loss of your friend. Gone too soon and losses this time of the year sting the worst. Holding you in my heart this NYE.
Domestic violence is very bad where I live, but perhaps bad everywhere these days. I know these things escalate during the holidays. How heartbreaking for your student to loose a mom because of this.
Lily- like you, I am hiding out this evening. Being away from people is something I always do on NYE. Wishing you peace and healing in the new year. Positive thoughts for better days ahead.
