Oh Cammi!  I thought for SURE we were goners!  I lost you guys after I posted, and I couldn't FIND any of you!

I whined to the Mods, and we are back and running!  I was sceered!

What do you MEAN I'm turning this place into a dictionary?  I mean all these gals come up with these words, and I don't know WTH they are talking about!

And what do you mean about this bladder cancer talk?  What, and when are you doing this?  OMG up your ..... I mean THAT test?   Oh for Gods Sakes!   I'm just so sorry little one,  about all your pain, and all your stuff that is going wrong!!!  I know they will fix you.... with as little pain as possible!

I think your Daughter has to be IN on this!   I HATE spasm's of any kind in any place!  Owwwweeee!  And I have no idea about you working, and your top half, and whatever!

But yes, little one, pain affects all of us....  I mean when you hurt, you can't even think straight.... not that we ever COULD, but you know, it might happen!

What is this not cancer, or what?  WHAT the hell is going on with you.  Please send us a medical report or explanation....

Nettie!  So you are weird too?   I'll bet it IS related to chemo.... Because when I take an antibiotic, everything smells and tastes like garlic!  I mean even ice cream!

Smarty!  I LOVE little chicken!  Ha, ha!  I got 3 eggs this morning... !!

I took their Cat Edith another blanket, and a bowl for the canned food I bring her....

Yes!  I got to "watch" the submarine races too.... It was the DUCK RACES that Doyle took me too.... Ha, ha!

And one time, my DH to be and I drove out to this place in the country, and it was soooooo dark, we could watch the fire-fly's!   I have never seen one SINCE!!!    That time of our lives was soooo much fun!

GGHIO.... I'm so sorry you had that trouble too!  And Notself, used to be here, right?  Somewhere?  I remember seeing that name...  Come back Notself, so we won't think we are going nuts!

Wren little honey.... that was not much of a rant.... I mean any one of us could do better than that....   image

No Nettie, you are not going crazy.... Oh wait.... you might just be...Ha!

Okay.... I hope I can post this, on the right page, on the right forum... I was getting fearful that I LOST you guys!

Chevy what the hail is going on in CO--u weather is worse than ours.

OK I thought it was my computer with everything all over the place, I couldn't get and further and I didn't even know if I lost my post. Didn't mean to start a whole cancer thing, but really I'm fine, I am not worried at all.I't tell u tho If I was going to be put out, I'd be upset so since I'm not if's fine.

Yes Nettie u are crazy we all are and as far as the smeilling join the club, I don't know why but for a while it was so bad it was coming out f my pores and I told the Dr. I felt like a whole family of skunk got mad at m at the same time. She shook her head yes. Well it's not as bad now, but that's why when I take a shower I appreciate the wonder ful fragrance that I enjoy cuz I still get that blicky smell too. No one else smells it I still think it's inm me too, even now.And I think that's another rason for all this camera stuff, This is very personal- so if it bothers u please don't read this, bt my urine smell absolutely horrendous and it rusty looking too ad my D is either very black or brite green--It's like the rainbow thing in my toilet. I know TMI but it explains more of how I feel now. LOL

    But I'll be fine

OK I'm tired right now and it's hot out now really hot whew no a/c n either I'm shocked they put it on all the time.

Cami, those symptoms sound yucky!!  Glad you are getting checked out!  Please keep us posted!!  Hope it's a simple fix!

I find that I was the first to notice this morning that the thread was all messed up and I too thought it was my computer, so when it wouldn't let me advance to the next page, I finally logged out and waited and when I logged back in, it seemed to be fine, but there for a while, I was ready to kill....it had me so frustrated.  HOw dare BCO have issues that keep me from being able to keep up with all of you!!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!  I've heard mention that there is some new or returning ladies....WELcome!!

O.K. This will be short. Took a tumble while working in the garden after dinner last night... not too bad, landed on a flagstone paver, took out a few irises, but with my balance disorders, I'm really good at falling. Just a bit more sore today. Sprained ankle, sprained wrist, but at least I had my back brace on!!!

Saw my favorite Pain Management doc in the Spine Clinic today! I got referred for an epidural shot in the spine, and we ended up spending an hour of him listening to my questions, doing an exam, and showing me every Xray and MRI image that was taken last week.

Bottom line - I'm in good shape for the shape I'm in! He was very impressed at the amount of exercise I've been doing, and he wishes more post-menopausal women would do that instead of just accepting "degenerative" changes in the spine. He gave me some exercises that wouldn't make my back worse, and said keep up the good work. WOOT!

    ~ ~ ~

Now - those of you who are talking about "toolies".... are you sure you aren't talking about the TULES?  (pronounced "toolies")

Where I grew up, if you went out in the boonies (like, to make out), you were in the tules. Tules are low-growing bushes, usually by rivers. There is a Tule tribe of Indians, a Tule Elk, a Tule Lake, and - the absolute worst - Tule fog!!!

Tule fog is totally thick, white, and obstructs your vision. If you are in it at night, you can't see the road at all. You roll down the windows and hang your head out, looking for the white line and listening for other cars. All your headlights do is shine back in your face. Scariest thing ever.

    ~ ~ ~

O.K, I see a Norco AND a Valium in my future tonight. Off to bed I go. Nighty night, Owlettes!

Morning Ladies!  Hah!  FOOLED you with THAT one!  Yeah, it looks like everything is running smooth here on the blogs!

Yesterday after I posted, and couldn't GET to the next page, I was really worried.. And I thought "what if I didn't HAVE you gals to talk to every day?"  Guess I'm sayin' you all really mean a lot to me.... You're all different, and that's what makes you special!  JWYTK!

(I think I just made that up....)  Like Cammi makes up words...like the REST of you guys....

We didn't get that weather, but watched this weather-caster go crazy with all his graphs, and air-craft pictures, and charts of the Tornado and storm activity... It's like he was sitting in this giant toy-box, and just having the time of his life!

Out North, closer to Kansas and Nebraska is where these weather patterns come up with Tornado's.

Cammi!  Yes.... we LOVE our showers, don't we?   You are "rusty?"  YOU said, it, I didn't!

What is that TMI stuff?  Is that like Transcendental Meditation or something? No WONder you are sick... And you better get back in to that Doc.... okay?  You probably astound her, with all your ailments!

Smarty, have fun with your GK's!  Wish mine were still that little, and I could see them all the time!   I remember paying them a quarter for every tomato worm they could find....  And finally after losing the home to foreclosure, I had to remiss on that request.

Just KIDDING!  We lost the car.  Ha, ha!  I have so much fun, thinking you gals are right there listening......  I know.... it's called something or other, but the thought escapes me right now.

Alyson, I have a couple of those plastic Owls, but I moved them out of the gardens, because they might scare the birds away!  I know that's the whole point, but I rather LIKE the squirrels, mice, huge Crows and the LITTLE birds...  I mean you couldn't scare a CROW with a cannon.  THOSE guys are huge!     They've tipped over one of my bird-baths a FEW times...

    image

You know what they DO?  They grab a piece of bread out of the Squirrel feeders, and then they go to the bird-bath to wash it off!  And make SUCH a mess!

And one time I was watching this OWL in the top of the tree, and a whole herd of Crows came by and chased that OWL away!   OWLS are afraid of Crows, evidently!

    Cut picture 2222222ndT!  So sweet!

Thanks MM!  I saw Vinnies' web site one time, when he used to post on the STFU thread...  He really does amazing work....

In everything he does....  I miss him terribly....... Ha, ha!  That was funny!

Glad we are all here together again!

Since I'm a cat person, thought this was appropriate.

Blessings, hope you didn't end up too black and blue, feeling better?  My intestinal issues seem to be settling down. Only drinking the box version.

Morning everybody, have a great Saturday if possible.

Tang, how you doing? 4sew, where are you. Is the recon going well?

    MEDICARE COVERAGE IN A NUTSHELL

The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, 'Hello.'

    'Mrs. Sanders, please.'

    'Speaking.'

'Mrs. Sanders, this is Doctor Jones at St. Agnes Laboratory. When your husband's doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well.  We are now uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way the results are not too good.'

'What do you mean?' Mrs. Sanders asked nervously.

'Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's and the other one tested positive for HIV (aids). We can't tell which is which.'

'That's dreadful! Can you do the test again?'  Questioned Mrs. Sanders.

'Normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these expensive tests one time.'

'Well, what am I supposed to do now?'

'The folks at Medicare recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him.'

Ah, I just had to do it.... Ha, ha!

My Orlando Daughter just called and told me how they, (meaning 1/2 the neighborhood) rescued this little gray kitten from a sewer!  A neighbor heard it crying, and they got a crow-bar, lifted the sewer lid off, and saw this little kitten about 10 feet down!  Someone else ran and got a ladder.... they lowered it down, and my oldest Grandson went down to rescue the kitten, which by this time ran UNDER THE STREET!!!   So GS sat, and waited awhile, calling little kitty.

1/2 hour went by.... no damn kitten...   Climbed back up, put sewer lid on,  so someone wouldn't FALL down there....  Daughter went back at midnight, with a cat-trap cage, with food....   Lowered it down....  Grandson went back about 2 a/m....   NOTHING!  By 4 a/m Daughter went back... looked down and noticed the food was gone!  WTH happened?  She yelled!  Called everyone else back....  They started pulling the metal trap back up....  Sure nuff, since it had a metal top, they could not SEE little kitten IN there!  They GOT her...  everyone yelled!  Neighbor came out and said "WHAT'S GOING ON OUT HERE!"  She TOLD her "We just rescued a kitten!"  Bitch neighbor said, "Well, you KNOW, there are older people around here, and we don't like all this noise!"

But they got the kitten!  And DD told her neighbor to take it home to his Daughter!  She took "it" to the Vets, and I haven't heard back....  Just had to tell you this long story had a happy ending....  Winking

I would have called the Fire department.... Ha!

Cammi better be okay!!  Or someone will be answering to ME!

Just to share - I was having pain in my clavicle area and what looked like swelling at the end of my Mx incision/scar.  Did a bone scan last week and it showed hot spots on my sternum.  sdklfjsfkjweifrarfsdkfsdfASLDKFSLSDFKFOWE!!!!!  As you can see,  I had nothing good to say about that result.  I had a CT scan on Wednesday and the bone scan and CT imaging were overnighted to my oncologist in Houston.  I'm hoping for something not awful.  Still scared even with meds!  Sorry, I just need a little hand holding from you guys.

    Phylisswhoisabadass,

I changed my avatar,  ( for the weekend ) to a paint ball gun, thinking of you yesterday.  I figured we needed some friendly competition at the tea party.

Susan love sports, so I want her on my team, plus she is one heck of a athlete. She did several marathons in a weekend. If we need to show up in full gear at your Dr. Appt or scan center, let us know.

We also got to get Miss Camilily back on track.

Holding my big hands with you both...
