2ndTimer, I was having the same problem yesterday with this website, today all is normal.
Fiercest, I would love to join you at the tea party. Beautiful table, teapots & desserts.
Chevster, are YOU making up words now? What is a chachalong? Picking up the slack for Cami?
Cami, hope you are feeling better...no fun to be in pain.
Here is one of my flower beds....
-
This is my Daughters dog, he would NOT get off yesterday! He rode with me for almost an hour! Not such a great pic of me, but oh well! Just thought you ladies would get a kick out of this!! Now if I could only teach him how to drive then I wouldn't have to worry about falling! bahahaha

Hi Everyone--I'm here almost.
Tang I'm so sorry u ended up in the hospital but the can gice u anti's quickly and hopefully u get this awful infection cleared up.
Welcome Mary we're here all day too so whenever u want to pop in and share we're here.
Blessings another words once u start thyroid meds u should always take them??? Geezze I didn't know that and never asked cuz my thyroid had no action at all so I was taking synthroid and after a while it was on the normal side and so I stopped. OH OH I'd better talk to my Dr.
4444 Im glad u popped in it's good to see you.
Susan good thinking, I thought
And all great pics to enjoy for everyone.Chevy I have to say with a small area u really have a lot of thangways (my words) but it does look lovely. And u have a knack for growin plants and cooking and poledancing. And BTW those crocs I loved them but they didn't love me--like 3 falls with them.
I know I'm out of sorts, like being out of M&M's it's cruel and I'm not feeling well, but I'm fine, actually just garbage stuff that's all. And they will not find cancer in my bladder so I'm not worried about that at all. So tht's not it.
-
Yes Susan... I admitted to it in an earlier post! Just can't stand to wear shoes when I'm on the mower and it's so hot! But I'll admit, the fall has made me extra careful when getting on and OFF! -
camillegal,
-
Well it ate my post. Trying again. Hot, very humid here. Nettie I can't even fathom using riding mower. I can't even use the edger and it's not that complicated. Think DD learned to drive on riding mower but she did use up the gas in lowest gear.
I have some zinnia seeds blooming, in big flat pot. Not so good with things in the ground, too many nasties and weeds. The cannas we planted are trying to come up, at least one variety. We were on the last side getting them in, hope not too late. Maybe getting some rain over the weekend, hope so. Plano area is on once every 2 weeks watering and I heard talk on TV today of going to no outdoor watering eventually. I think that means sprinklers not hand watering. I know our restrictions allow hand watering/drip watering at any time. My watering days are Thurs/Sunday. I seriously take issue with the Sunday. How am I to set a sprinkler/move it and go to church b4 10am and arrive fresh?

FBB - Love the "leakage". Right into my word files.
Speaking of those word files - I actually had to look for something in them. I was shocked, yes shocked to see how many pics I have stored from here. DH usually on his laptop so PC is my domain. I need to have a laugh/cry fest and go thru them. Think I'm going to spend some time on Zen to Zany.
-
Chevy you called me normal - you lot just don't know me as I am not normal if I was normal would I hang around here with you lot. Have been called quiet and subversive but not normal.
Have spent the day helping DD move. We did some work in the garden which is totally overrun. Think best thing will be to pull out all the plants in the front and start again. Will go and get plants tomorrow. The neighbours are so happy that the place is being cleaned up.
Hope I sleep tonight. Will check in later.

I totally stole this from another thread. Thanks Aruba from 2013 Survivors.

I just want to know how can ANYone fall off of Crocs? I mean Cammi, they are as wide as a boat.... like wearing snow shoes! and you fell off like 3 times? Just don't drink and walk.... Are you feeling alright? I mean really? Don't go around making' up more words.... I forgot what you called those yard things.... trinkalots? I'd have to go back a page, and you know what THAT means!
Yes.... ! Damnit, for whoever asked! Those animals and angels ARE watching my back door! So everytime I open the door, or look out the window, they are THERE! They don't move a lot, and are pretty quiet! So they can stay. I have to be able to see the fronts of them all.... because I don't go walking by them, so they stay in one place, facing one directions..... What IS this? Someone wondering why I face my animals like I do my canned-goods?
Alyson, I know you are a lot of fun also, Ha! But sometimes you act pretty much "normal!" YOU have been called subversive? I think you mean submissive..... Oh wait! Maybe that's either me or Cammi! Or both?
LittleGoats, I love that poem.... It's so true!
-
Yes, but on second reading it says a mouthful and hard to accept. I hope that no one takes it as personally directed to anyone. I like the owl and kinda like the saying. BUT and a big but - I'd find it hard to accept and follow well.
-
WHAT??? You have a big butt? What did you just say? I really like the part about the people that treat you right, are just special.... If you have to regret something, it just sits on your mind, until you can work your way past it... Make it better for yourself.... so you can sleep.
So do I have to analyze this for us? Ain't gonna happen.... Ha! I've almost believed that things happen for a reason... Well, they do, "if it fits".... When you look BACK on things, think of what possible reason you can think of for that happening....! Ah geez, now I sound like Cammi!
-
luvmygoats...great saying..don't feel bad.I like it
Chevy....whoever could have said that about your animals keeping an eye on you....that wasn't nice.lol
-
sweet dreams everyone
-
Uncle Si is sad, his dad was eating and wasn't sharing. And now he's like this....
And yes that is his bed. -
Crap! I'm 2 weeks behind on my reading. Not to worry though, I'll soon be back to my old angry, disruptive self and posting weird shit. I'm looking forward to it! I love you all!

Holeinone – You
have a port removal scheduled for tomorrow? Prayers…. Beautiful flower bed… are those Iceland
poppies and Lobelia in the front?LeeA – Yikes! New
construction? We were in our house for two years before we tackled the back
yard. And it was a big one. In 7 years,
I’ve gone through 3 landscapers because the first two were idiots. Now we have
it just about where we want it.JWoo – Funny!
That’s me, too!!! And believe me, I’d bite anyone who got too close!!!4sewwhat – Cute pic!
Pawprint – So
glad Annie Mae is recovering… I’m sure she’ll get her bearings in no time. We have horrible hardpan soil here… dig down
about two feet and it’s like hitting concrete. We’re in Zone 8, and it’s gonna
be 106 this weekend. Regarding pots – if it’s hot where you are, you’ll need to
water pots every single day, or the moisture will just be sucked out of them by
the end of the day. I did have two nice pots on wheeled platforms that I would
move around, but two days without water and one of them bit the dust –
literally. So I just planted them where the sprinkler would hit.Alyson –
beautiful pic – lovely grandbabies!Chevy – LOVE that
polymer stuff. We need it here in the heat. Are those your legs in the
turquoise crocs? Lovely!!! Yes, my Darling, you ARE the Queen of the
Tchotchkes!!! (And I have that same birdbath!)Susan – Good eye!!
My mom kept recycling and reusing everything from jars to plastic bags and
aluminum foil. I told her when she started washing and drying paper coffee
filters she was moving to Shady Pines. (Where Sophia came from on Golden
Girls.)Teka –Love the
washday pic… wonder how old that is?Gardengumby – you
had yourself a busy day!FierceBluebird – what
a magical tea party!!!! And another funny pic…2TA – Hmmmm …. Hot
flashes just might be worth it….Nettie – love the
kittie pics, and they are all true. You ROCK on that riding mower!Cami – sending you
gentle “feel better” hugs…Luvmygoats – we
are on water restrictions here… we have the sprinklers come on in the middle of
the night twice a week… but when it gets to be over 100 (like now) DH and I go
out and give everyone a drink with the hose after dinner. -
Well, I'm not a doctor, but yesterday I played one on the Internet.
I put together my symptoms (sleeping all the time, listless, no energy, inability to lose weight despite being on a 1200 calorie a day diet and exercising five times a week, AND freezing and wearing a sweatshirt even when it's nearly 100 outside) and asked my PCP to run some thyroid tests.
Well, the numbers came back "within normal limits" but I've read that this doesn't really mean much. For instance -
1) My regular thyroid test has always been low normal
2) My first "Free T4" test came back in the bottom fourth of normal
3) My TSH started at 1 (a year ago) and has steadily been increasing to the point that it's now a 5 and borderline high. The brain makes more TSH when it needs more hormones.
4) I am on the same dose of Synthroid I have been for ten years. It's the same dose (25mcg) they give to CHILDREN.
I told DH that I bet my PCP would raise my dosage. Sure enough, got an email from her this morning. She doubled the dosage! But I'll take it slow... I don't want to end up wired all night long. I just want my energy back! I want to enjoy the break I'm getting from the Femara, not miss it because I am sleeping all day.
Supposed to be 106 this weekend... at least we're used to it.
Nighty night, Owlettes!

CHEVY!!!!
Good God woman, there is no such thing as Chochees, and there's no such thing as chachalongs either. Just because you are as old as the dirt at the bottom of the Grand Canyon does NOT mean that you get to just make chit up. And while we're at it .. SHAVE WOMAN! You're never going to make the bucks as a pole dancer with legs looking like this:
Geez. Do you all see how hard it is to keep this woman in line? It's like a full time job.
Good Golly.
Sassypants, you better get back here soon. I can not be expected to do this all by myself.
And CAMI DON'T YOU DARE THINK ABOUT CANCER IN YOUR BLADDER IXNAY ON ATTHEY NOWAY. itty bitty little infection.. maybe... if that.
And all the rest of you just BEHAVE!
And YES FBB, It is time for a Tea party!!! With CAKE! And ICE CREAM. But not it chipped beef on toast. I am not coming if all there is is chipped beef on toast because I don't even like chipped beef on toast. But I'll come if you are going to be ther FBB even if all there is to eat is chipped beef on toast. But I'm bringing some Ice Cream in my backpack (shhhh, don't tell anyone).

Port of Benoa, Indonesia "For Indonesia, a vast country consisting of hundreds of islands, shipping is crucial to economic development. Yet, in Indonesia the role of maritime transport is still relatively small and limited to areas of high economic activity."
You could even have Vinny tattoo Indonesia around the port, that is if you can get Chevy to give him up for an hour or two.
-
I like tea....and parties. FBB, may I come if I check my paintball gun at the door?

Chevy and big bro Oleg in original crocs

my! 3 pages behind! So sorry Tang that you've had that infection, hope it clears up soon. Do they send out a home nurse to give you the IV antibiotics?
Hope everyone else is doing better. I've had a little problem with lower intestines. Don't know what causing it, thought I had divertilitis. Apparently not, not having the right symptoms. Happened 2 weeks ago. So now I'm only taking the liquid Opifast and see if all of a sudden I'm lactose intolerant. Never had any problems with milk before. If it happens again I should get a looky loo up my colon. Yikes. Never had the full one done, just the flexiscopy thingy about 14 years ago.
Love the pics, love orange kitties. Have 1 in my menagerie.
Sleep tight everyone.
-
we have to have chocolate cokes at the tea party! Don't like tea! Don't like crocs either. Just saying. Can't we all have paintballs? Do we all have to shave our legs, or just Chevy?
Susan, name it Portia. Fits with Waldo don't you think?
Blessings, was going to ask how the weight thing was going. Hope your thyroid gets stabilized quickly. Once you're feeling better, are you guys planning any trips? Hope DH is feeling up to it.
Yep, we're hitting the 100s this weekend too. Hope my sister gets her pool open.
-
Too Pooped to be as crazy as PhylloWithThePaintBallGun so just wanted to poop in and say............
-
Glad to see Chevy is out of Crocs (which I love BTW!) and back in her normal shoes!
-
LOL at phgraham and this: "I'll soon be back to my old angry, disruptive self and posting weird shit."
Blessings - re: landscaping - the HOA requires landscaping within 90 days of completion of the home so we had it designed and did it all now versus in stages. We did our last house in stages but no HOA there.
