Tang it could be allergies, after all this crap some develop this other crap. As far as peeing I pee all the time I LOL which is a lot so I can't help on that one.
Smarty of course I'll share--yummy
Thanyou Ziggy Well I'm younger than Chevy/
-
This is who I shower with
-
OK it's really the second one I shower with. -
Tang, my MO kept asking me when I was getting Taxol if I thought I had a bladder infection. NO. Then when I had that long survivorship meeting with an oncology nurse practitioner, she told me that Taxol can cause some permanent bladder issues.
The cough could be allergies, but the weak bladder? Stay off trampolines and do not laugh too hard. Lol....
-
Hole I never heard that about Taxol but interesting, well I don't know for sure if I had it--I know I should know but I don't know any of them except the red devil and I don't even know the real name--but it is red that's how I knew--Anyway I have so many bladder problems hmmmm I'll see the urologist next week so I have to mention this cuz she can look up what I had, I guess--it's all in the computer I think. Oh WTF do I know--OK nothing. Jeez how could I know nothing really about all this when I'm feeling crappy every day--u'd think I would take some interest in this. Ick I hate to think about it.

hope you had a great birthday cami.......happy happy happy

FierceOne - not sure about "Teka's picture" but did google barred owls. Sorry, yes, barred not barn owl. We had one last summer sitting just outside den window under arc light. I think this one had ear tufts though. But yes I hear the "who cooks for you" clearly and loudly even in the house. Read on Wikipedia that a barred owl was photo. grabbing a domestic cat. They can keep eating all the nasties that live out along the creek. My detached garage is not sealed terrifically well but I've only had a mouse in there a couple of times. I give credit to the owls. W. also says they call during the day. We have a nice pop. of red tailed hawks so might be alerting for them or crows. I would think babies would have all fledged by now.
Phone crisis averted. I picked up phone to dust it and golly gee it had a dial tone. Guess something in switching station was checked and fixed after I reported it. My internet was down for about 30 min also this afternoon which never happens. Don't think it was a coincidence. But I can say that corner where I thought the problem might be with the phone is mighty clean and I'm mighty tired. Now to finish the rest of the room.
Gosh Tang I agree I would think allergies first. Esp with all the rain you had your way, fungus - y stuff and blooming stuff. (Our way out west is dying rather than blooming) Do you take Claritin (the plain not decongestant) or did you take it with chemo? I've gotten to taking one every day. Think it helps me but not sure. Some people swear by Zyrtec but I don't think I liked it and not sure why. I'm not a Benadryl girl - makes my hyper if I take it at bedtime - found that out when I took Tylenol PM. Maybe try the cheapie generic Claritin (loratadine) small bottle then if it doesn't work not much money wasted. I think coughs are worse at night because you don't have anything else going on. True for most anyone. Or could be the "dreaded" post nasal drip. Can't speak to peeing pants at your age. Let's just say when I 1st get up in the morning don't get between me and the BR or there's going to be trouble.

red devil = adriamycin?

Happy Birthday, Camillegal!
-
I knew that about the Taxol and bladder damage...I just finished another round of antibiotics for a UTI. I wonder if that has anything to do with pee thing. Meh, I'm not to worried, its just annoying.Goats-I used to take zyrtec daily, but it stopped working for me. I swear once it went OTC it wasn't as effective. I think I have some Benadryl, but if I take it now I'll have a hangover in the morning lol. I think my dd has the same thing as you, gets hyper with Benadryl.
I'm restless tonight. I'm tired, but can't quite sleep. I'm gonna see if I can figure out how to post a pic here, I posted yestreday on FB a pic of myself in my bald headed glory. It felt good and freeing!
-
Chevy and Luvmygoats - the Trigger Finger is from the AI. Never had it before, and it went away when I went on my drug holiday. Started Femara and back it came. HOWEVER.... last night I wrapped my finger in Spider Tape ( Kinesio-Tape, like they use in PT, where the adhesive has channels in it for blood and lymph flow) and this morning = no trigger!!! Woot!
2TA - probably not necessary to photograph all the donation stuff, but I started doing it years ago to match the written lists I had made. We were donating thousands of dollars of stuff, and I didn't want to get audited. Today DH took a truckload full of clothes over to the hospice thrift store. I mean, the bed was filled! p.s. LOVE your cute pics!!!
And Miss Cammi: Happy Belated Birthday!!! Hope it was awesome!!!
-
Okay here goes...hope it works. -
Tang, GREAT photo, & you are smiling.
Looks like me with the blankets, my bald head was always cold, had a beanie on most the time. In fact I put one on tonight at golf, it got cold at the end of the evening.

Morning my friends! I'm going backwards here, with the pages, so just play along.......
Susan! That is so true! I lay there thinking how else can I re-arrange my gardens and "stuff" that is in them! I'll take pictures when I ever get this project "done"! Ha! That's when you can do your best thinking though... when I'm just laying there, and 50 million other things aren't calling your brain...
Morning to you too JWow! Yes, that Cammi had her "private" B-day, withOUT us, but I got the word, so I spilled the beans! We LOVE her, even with all her imperfections... if she has any.... so we must KNOW these things beFORE they happen!
2222222nd! That's for all of us.... I loved your little picture!
And you guys aren't going to believe this.... Okay.... I HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY AS YOU SASS! Damn! Who knew? But I was first, Haaaaaaaaaa! 2 Leo's on one thread? Are we twins? From another Mother? That is ironic.... AND iconic!
And why were you feeling "lonesome"??? YOU said it... I was just wondering! And what was it you forgot??? I forgot what you forgot!
Ooooooooh.... my little Annie Mae... I just love her so much Paws... Thank you for her pictures... And thank you 22222nd! I looked up that whole article, and wanted to post it!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2055471/A-new-home-blind-Great-Dane-devoted-guide-dog.html
I just thought this was a beautiful story! I live next door to a Great Dane named "Thanos"... We like him Soooooo much better than his Master...Ha! And he has more sense!
Tang! Hi sweetie! Yes, you ARE beautiful, AND smiling! You know I print and save all the pictures of you gals, so I can "see" who I'm talking to!
I have y'all in a special folder ! So I hate to ask, but could you all just post a little picture of yourselves, if you would... please?
Blessings... that is aMAZing about your Trigger Finger! I had never heard of that "Spider" Tape... Okay.... I googled it, and I will print off a copy... in case I might need this someday! I just saw it on Amazon.
Morning "LeeinArizona"! Nice to see you here! Can't you sleep either? I CAN, but that doesn't stop me from posting on this thread... "All my rowdy friends are here!" Ha!
Littlegoats! I thought for SURE it was "Barn" Owl! But I didn't want to say anything! I watched an Owl family hatch and grow up, on a live feed, from San Diego a couple years ago.... "Molly & McGee"... Yes, I don't really care for their eating habits, but I don't think you can change that... Ha!
So have you gals tried Zyrtek instead of Claritin? The Pharmacist told me that both of them have different ingredients, and may work better, than the other... Even the generic of Allegra works better for me than some of the others.
-
Oh Wow! I clicked something, and lost my whole long, boring post for a minute there, so I'll just finish it here!
Morning Fiercestlittlebird! That was so funny about the Verizon Owls!
2222nd! I can underline, because I am typing this on another page, then highlighting, copying, and pasting it on the thread! And! Look at this! Colors for you all! Heh, heh!. It was a secret, and now it is OUT!
Good Luck with the job interviews...!
Cammi... oh damnit! It's hard to get rid of the "blue"...Ha!... Cammi, where ARE you? Did you see what LilShit gave you? And you are 106? You are holding up pretty GOOD, little funny face! Oh wait!
You shower with..... THEM??? I would stay in the shower forever...
I just want you to feel better... Okay.... we won't talk bladder stuff anymore....
And yes Tang... we women probably ALL know what that's like... sometimes it's only temporary, and you will "out-grow" it.... other times, it hangs around... and by the way.... you "jump"? How in the hell do you JUMP? I tried that once, and it was like my foot was nailed to the floor! Just wear those little pads... like we used to!
So my other advice is don't sneeze or cough. Period! I mentioned before, about those meds...
Okay.... gonna jump-start this morning.... xoxoxoxo
-
Good Morning Girls!
Popping in to sat a quick hello. Working today so I can be ready for operation T.a.T.t.B.a.B. tomorrow! (Thin a Thigh to Build a Boob!)
My mouse won't scroll either so having a really hard time reading and posting!!
Hope everyone is in a better place than they were yesterday!
Cami. I am woefully behind again so someone might have already mentioned this, but Cytoxan ks well known for bladder problems. I even had to sign off about its ability to cause bladder cancer at a future date.
-
HaHa Susan!! My bed AND my shower!!!
Tang! Beautiful!!!!
Annie Mae, feel better and snuggle with your mom so she feels better too......
-
chevy-I'll have to see about a smaller picDid I say I jump? lol, I don't even remember..but I did put a pad on. lol...good thing I kept them around even though I doubt I'll have a period for a long while or even again.
Happy Tuesday Ya'll!
-
Oh 4, yes I did have to sign a form too, on the Cytoxan. But then I had a problem with taxotere (CYP 3's abnormal) that put me in the hospital. This was just so screwy. I'm in a bad very sick situation. The Hospitalist orders the wrong IV fluids. The fluids put me in to acute renal faiure ARF- that is figured out by the nephrologist the next day, and correct fluids are hung. They get that straightened out. I'm sicker than a dog. The nurses aren't doing intake and output measurements. I say to them "Look folks what's going in isn't coming out". They ask if I want to be cathed------YES------900cc.
The ARF caused both drugs to be circulated longer than usual---whats the outcome of that? No one knew. The bladder retention--I'm supposed to be under surveillance now for the rest of my life for Bladder CA.
Yay Chevy a birthday buddy, but you are right , you ARE the older one. I was lonesome b/c being on the horse is lonesome. Chasing windmills isn't easy. There is a youtube segment on the great danes. But must try to sleep
BLUEBIRD YOO--HOOT HAVE A NICE DAY
Jwoot aw shucks Love you too. That's such a nice thought to wake up too. Especially since there wasn't much sleeping going on.
-
If you hold the control button and hit the letter "u", then you will have your words underlined! Just thought I'd put that out there! LOL
Hope you all have a glorious day, I'm behind in the post, but still lurking!
Was told yesterday by chiro that it may take a steroid injection for this dang tennis elbow crap to get better! Not a fan of the steroid shot! So I'm trying to hold off! On a good note, my back is still better! YAY!! Hope I don't jinx it by mentioning it!
-
Tang, When you pee, try to cough while sitting. It helps empty the last few drops. It also helps to pee more often, since it's usually a full bladder that tricks you. Loved your pic.
Pawprint, Good wishes to you and Annie Mae. Does she have to wear the cone of shame? We had a kitten whose eye had to be removed. I would take the cone off at night and put him next to me in bed. The minute he stirred, I was wide awake. It was like having a new baby.
4sew, When my mouse acts up, it usually needs new batteries. Evidently playing games uses up the batteries pretty quickly.
-
alert..this is a depressed vent
Bunch of girlfriends getting together tonight to wish someone goodbye. They are off to their retirement/state/new home. I am 54, The big topic is where r we retiring and where will that be. I just can't do it today. I can be in those discussions as long as it isn't a lot of people. To many people overwhelms me and I feel I am the only one in the whole world that won't live to retirement. Ok,,,that's a little dramatic..but u get it.
Mbc with mets in nodes, bone and bone marrow , lung, rib, and the last month my liver is killing me. Tests on Friday to see if Waldo ended up there now too.
Would like to happy for all my friends making plans for the future and waiting for grand kids . Not on the cards for me.....and today is a low day because of it.
Sorry this post isn't going to make anyone laugh....I like to keep on the humor side...not happening today
Paw print......I do hope Annie Mae and you r having a wonderful bonding day
Thanks for listening....u guys r great
