INSOMNIACS place to talk in the wee hours

mostlymom, you got that right!
-
Morning gals! HAH Mostlymom! THAT was funny! Yes, that's all I see on TV, is those commercials! But I DID read where a new cancer treatment is helping mice walk again.... so at least that is SOME good news.
Pawprint.... today is the day, and our Annie will be okay... Do you bring her home tonight, or tomorrow? And after this, she will be so happy!
Blessings! Your finger is still YUCK? Okay, can you just go get it fixed? That surgery they did on mine really worked out well, and no more problems...
NOW if they could just fix my "hammer-toe" I would be perfect...Ha! Oh wait.... as long as I am "fixing" things, maybe in my dreams I would have no edema in my left ankle, cute perky little boobs, only one tiny little neck, and a lot less lb's!
Okay... all those piles.... Just do one or two at a time.... don't look at the whole picture... It's too overwhelming... Take care of 2 piles at once, and get them DONE.....
Then later on... go do 1 or 2 more... then forget about it... Do fun things in between times, like even just a cup of Tea, and relax.
And about those drugs... They are evidently harder on you, because of the way you are... they don't affect everyone the same way... Same with me... Not EVERYone had problems with Tamoxifen... But some DO.... Some get cataracts, some lose their hearing, due to stroke... But some go through the 5 years with very few SE's... So see what happens... If it gets too unbearable, then you can always take a break... Talk to your Oncologist... I'm just sayin'....
I am a good example of a "good drug gone bad"... We are all different, so those drugs will affect each one of us in a different way.
Oh wait! A special Good Morning to "wirdgirl"... I keep "seeing" bird-girl, but that isn't right? At first I saw "wild-girl!" And I thought ALRIGHT! So which is it? Ha! And what is this 118? Is that how old you are? Thank GOD someone is older than me!
You have a lot of deer? Where ARE all you gals with Deer and Buffalo and Rabbits and stuff?
Oh I should talk! Me living next to chickens! But at least they have a COOP!
So welcome to you, and nice to "see" you here!
Dutchie.... 222222nd is right! We will come take you by the hand, and take you there, and WE will explain it all to your Doc! You just have to sit there and whine... like you are in pain.... WE will take the upper-hand here! You NEED some professional help ... I mean I could help, but then I don't know what I am talking about .... I KNOW! Ask Cammi! She and I will come to the rescue.... with fresh eggs and chocolate cokes!
Cammiiiiiiiiii! You made it home! Yes.... done with the chikkin' sittin'! We only got 6 eggs this time... but did you see what Sass wrote? SHE said those chikkins KNOW me! Well, sort of, and that they are smart... and how I just shot their diet all to hell! Because their Mom's teach them which food is good, and bad... So here I go over feeding them Popcorn, dandelions, donuts, bread and scraps! So much for following the basic rules of each food-group!
But Yes Sass! They DO recognize me, and come by my legs, once I SLAM their gate so they can't escape... and they stand, waiting for me to get their pans out from under their STRAW, so I can fill them with their treats! It's like they "whisper" when I am close...
Okay, I can SEE you guys LAUGHING! I can't HEAR you, but I just KNOW!
Good Morning Teka! Geez, I saw this HUGE clay colorful Rooster at the Flea Market yesterday, and it was all I could do to not BUY the damn thing! I HAVE this pretty metal Chicken, but this Rooster would have made her soooooooooo happy! Tough... she'll get over it.
Sooooooooo... GGirlH, can't tell the difference between a goat and a Deer???? I mean even I... underline I .... knowTHAT one! And WHO "lives down there? The Deer of the Neighbors! I'm soooooo confused.
Yes... you were hallucinating.
Oh Smartypants! Look what you did! I did stenciling once... but not anywhere CLOSE to what you did! So pretty... And I love all the wedding pictures!
So what did you do? Give everybody WATER, and no mixed drinks? Looks like those two women were saying "Where's my Whiskey?" Well, my Grandma would have been.... anyway.
Cute Table Decorations too!

OMG I can't catch up and on top of that--my phone is going crazier, driving me crazier--so u can imagine how crazy I am.
I hope Annie's operation is over now and she's doing well.
And Dutch, do I have to YELL at u too--call the Dr. they HAVE to know what's going on at all times so they can do what they are supposed to do.
My goodness all the animals everyone sees and takes care of and they control. Hmm It's like planet of the Animals, pretty soon we'll see just the head of the Statue of Liberty sitting in the sand. And some Ostrich next to it.
Hi sweet Lilli
OK I gotta go BBL
-
CAMMiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! It was your BIRTHDAY, and you didn't TELL us! So why not? I mean you blab everytime you take a shower, but can't even tell me when your B'day is! So me and the CHICKENS wish you the HAPPIEST.... whenEVER it was!
-
-
That's where she was?and didn't tell us?oh, my heart is broken!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUUU
-
I'm catching up 5 pages from Friday. For you gals that's really not bad output. I've been worser behinder before.
Phyllis - I love (not) the comment about crabbiness being a form of depression. Can be hang him by a body part? Was he a perpetual ray of sunshine? Geesh. Everyone is entitled to be crabby and esp. us here.
2TA - Hope time on the phone got insurance straightened out. Sweating this time of year again if I am on DH's insurance for next year. Appears his continues as he's already been thru health screenings. Have friends who are on ACA but I don't think they have much chronic med. conditions and certainly no CA tx. Another's DH will have to get ACA when she goes on Medicare this summer at her normal retirement age. He's about 15 years younger than she is. Yay for DD's scholarships.
Teka - I miss my toads. The drought did most of them in. I have 3-4. Smart buggers. I had a bunch that used to sit on my storm shelter roof. Concrete and under arc light. Great bug catching. They don't do this anymore and not sure why. We get 1 or 2 green tree frogs up here. I'm sure just behind us on the creek is jumping with stuff. It alwasy has some water even if stagnant. We have spineous lizards up here on bricks. Have a couple of barn owls (who ever taught me "who cooks for me" thanks, always thought they were great horned) that have been hooting in the morning and afternoon - like noonish. Certainly not dawnish/duskish times. Actually heard part of a owl fight Fri during the day. Maybe fighting off crows - have them in abundance.
Blessings - sorry for the owie finger. Anything you can pinpoint that aggravated it? I had surgery years ago on my L hand and relearned to type using only I think 3 fingers. Passed a typing test for a new job doing that though I had to rent an electric typewriter for practice. Tester commented they'd never seen anyone type that way. Was pretty fast and used to take shorthand (!!). Hope no encounters with friends wondering about the "middle finger" salute.
I did the fire readiness earlier in the year. But not as thorough as Sassy. Did round up dog's leash, collar and rabies tag and had crate ready. Fun finding all charges for phones. DH would kill me if I started emptying papers into crates or laundry baskets. But I will remember that for an idea. I think I have four of them in house.
Our house phones have been out since Friday. Repairman coming tomorrow. Think it's outside by the line test DH did but funny I used the bedroom phone Thur night which I never do and Fri they were dead. Internet works fine though. Maybe time to cut the hardline phone. But DH gets crappy cell reception (think he needs better phone but he has a dinky lightweight one he likes). Mine is OK not stupendous. Sometimes get a message late. He might get a message or voicemail 2 days later.
Sassy - tell me about the house cleaning. It has bit me in the proverbial b***. I have a corner where that phone is that is deep in dust. Yucky poo. I hate cleaning but I love the results.
Chevy - that picture of sitting on the floor with knees bent back is exactly how I sat on the floor for years. I cannot sit crosslegged to save my life; my knees stick up in the air and it hurts. Nowadays I try not to sit on the floor at all unless there is a crane nearby to lift me up.
Smaarty - loved the wedding pictures. Talented seamstress you are.
Quatre - you are having fin enhancement this Wed and feeding 100 on Fri. I can't even feed the 2 of us successfully some days. Keep your fin happy and do hope you've got some lift type help? Whatcha' makin'? Do you have any suggestions on how to go about finding a commercial kitchen to rent out (for a friend NOT for me)? Thinking of a pastry supply to trade. She's got the culinary background but the moolah aspect is daunting. 'Nother friend wanted to hook her up with someone selling comm. kitchen equip. Told her lots of comm. kitchen space went unused for hours at a time (if think she could be a nightowl too); just needs to find the right space.
Pawprint - prayers for Annie Mae's surgery. Give her a hug for me.
Happy Birthday Cami

hello all,
Welcome Wirdgirl, I live in S. Idaho...high desert, dry & windy but is beautiful...
Chevster, I am in the throes of chemo brain. Seeing a large animal on my patio was a shock. I live next ( very close ) to a Home Depot and the LDS temple. We are talking lots of traffic. Poor deer, I hope he made it back to the canyon, he was headed further towards town. I yelled at him, "hey, you are going the wrong way", don't think he got it. See, I'm talking to the animals now. I am lucky to have all sorts of good excuses to be wacky.
4sew, wow, you are a busy one. I am exhausted thinking about all you do.
DutchChris, hope your swelling has gone down.
BBL.....
-
Just dropping in to say hello...very busy weekend...way behind.
-
Thank you for my birthday wishes----
Chevy that's why I didn't say anything--I knew those chicken would start acting coo-coo---I'm thankful to have another birthday, but the numbers just don't make sense anymore.
-
OMG it's, CAMI's Birthday -
Happy Birthday Cami!
-
Smarrty, love that they are doing simple weddings . I so object to the weddings that cost 20,000 plus. DS's & ex fiancée's --the wedding would have been 80-100,000. Never got to be an issue--they broke up. What's the significance of the raccoons? I see the tree and swingHelllloooo wirdgirl
join the crazies
Teka by now 8pm the kitchen should be part done? Ready to get rid of the horse---worn out!
Chevy I forgot
-
Dutchy wirdgirl said it well. So, did maddy. Talk with your doc get an approval for a certified LE therapist. Not sure where KIRA post most. She answered some questions for me re: flying. Here's the linkhttps://community.breastcancer.org/forum/64/topic/811841?page=1
Pawprint8:18pm you and Annie home ?
Littlegoats
, I bought extra baskets. After that summer was over I had lots of baskets
I was going through a neck/back thing and it was an answer to being able to do it myself. It was good. The family heirlooms got wrapped in underwear, sox, clothes. That way we would have clothes were ever we went. There were strictly clothes in baskets(3 probably). Enough for x amount of time. Forget x. It was thought out, but krips we were under watch for 2-3 months it was awful. That's why I worry about you and Maddy, and Blessings.
-
Okay off the horse for awhile.
-
Happy Birthday Cami!
About the owl calling, Barred Owls (Teka's picture) say "Who cooks for you?" Barn owls have a rasping, hissing clicking sound. Unless of course they use Verizon Wireless and then they say, "Can you hear me now?"
-
FBB Nice too see you-------one down one more

How did I miss Cammi's b-day? What didn't I see? Another year younger, my dear Cammi? Hoping you had a wonderful day!
Pawprint, how is dear Annie Mae this evening? And how are you holding up my friend? Hoping you can get some restful sleep tonight.
Chevy, I still don't know how you did the underlines. Special key?
Wirdgirl, didn't see you sneak on in, you fit in great. Keep coming back!
Now, Dutchie, did you make the call today? It's not as like you're been calling several times a day for weeks on end. Just one call (ok, maybe more). As said on other threads, a stressed body (and that's one in pain) can't heal as fast or properly so hoping you made that call and got a great response.
Blessings, you need to take photos of everything? For tax purposes? Seems like a lot of work.
4444Sew, sounds like you're going to be b-u-s-y! Pace yourself.
Smaaarty, thinks for the wedding photos - beautiful family! Really looking forward to seeing the dresses you sewed.
LuvMG, this insurance issues is driving me batty! Have always had fairly decent insurance thru employment (mine or DH's). this ACA is ridiculously stupid! And every time they check our info, they screw it up (the last ya-who coded DD as making $17K per MONTH! No wonder it's all f-ed up!! Then it's, please be patient, BS! And the cards will be out to you in a couple weeks, that would be no! Paid for the month of May and haven't been able to use it so pro-rate what I couldn't and apply to next month's. AND FEDEX/OVERNIGHT THE DAMN CARDS TO ME! Tired of waiting.... (Sorry, didn't mean to yell at you, just going crazy)
Speaking of going cray-cray, how are you Sassy-pants?
Jwow, have photos for you. DH took some of the curly 'do, need to send them from my cell to email to PM you. Just seems more than my brain can handle today. (Especially on 3 hours sleep)
Spookie's mom, saw the photo of beloved Spookie on another thread, what a cute furbaby!
For all that I missed, hoping your week started off well.
At least Chevy didn't post the Chicken (Chit) Whisperer. I know I wasn't the only one thinking that!
And.... psssst..... have not one but two job interviews this week (same company, two different locations and they start off part time, so maybe.........)
Only had one small bite to eat today and I'm hungry........
-
For Cammi,
-
-
For Pawprint (this just popped up on my FB and thought of you):

\
LOVE YOU CAMI. HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS!
-
Okay...random and tmi time....I've developed this annoying scratchy cough thing over the last week. It is worse at night time and when I cough I pee myself. Yes ladies, I'm peeing myself. good times! I put a pad on earlier because of this. I kind of think its allergies, but not so sure. Anyway, just thought I'd share. lol, I don't even know why lol. I wanted to tell someone and for some reason I thought someone here could relate -
tang, I used to have the same problem. 3 kids, and overweight added up to wet pants whenever I sneezed, jumped, or cough to hard. Had a sling put in about 2-1/2 years ago. It works unless I really cough really bad. This was the first of 7 sx since then.
Happy birthday Cami, will you share that choc cake? Hersey bars and kisses! Yummmm.
