He don't understand yet but if we keep on showing the pic eventually he will ask to see her
And we will have to introduce them
-
Kath, thanks for the complement but I'm way older then u
I never heard anyone tell me I have beautiful skin, thank u girls
I wash my face with baby wipes, and I use coconut oil only at nite
Simple and cheep and easy
I did see the pics, the first one I looked good, the second one I was gettin tired and my makeup wore off
By the time it got to the pic in the car I had no makeup on and looked wilted..
BUT
This was by far the best reunion ever,it was surprise after surprise
Does anyone no proud to spin? She is on the threads somewhere but not always, anyway I met her at a reunion and she only lived in the next town when I lived in NJ...wonderful person too..saved me from goin crazy after my surgeries more then once
We were put together for a reason, fate, destiny or whatever but when u meet a sista ur life has changed
Example Blondie have been here quite some time
Yeah we new each other BUT never NEW her the way I no her now
Those pics says it all
Make plans, make trips, find a way but do it
I promise u will never forget it
Veggy was supposed to be there too,and she was in spirit.
Enuf FireKracker,,,everyone gets my point
-
agree with K if you ever have a chance to meet one of the people on any of the boards, I would definately say go for it...it puts thngs in perspective. There is definately at bond and being in person for me, made it stronger....we all get each other cause we have been there in one way or another, and talking on the puter is one thing, but in person...IMO a whole other level!!! -
I had lunch with Annette in San Antonio and I can assure all of you that she is NOT mean. She is so awesome and so funny. Just love her.
-
So true...........I thought I knew those fantastic ladies till I met them.........I am still in awe of how after I got in my car and was driving away I though.......I wish we had more time.....I have had friends in my life, but I can't explain that bond, that I felt for those 3 hours........then yesterday sitting in the bank parking lot looking over at Panera and thinking, how fortunate I was to have met them........you feel the love......
Thanks for cheering Grayson on......she is an amazing little girl who was cheated by an uncaring Dr.,but will get there in spite of it all.......hugs.
-
hey JOJO I new the way you felt about Annette
Mean?????
Never, been waiting 3 yrs. to meet her
And will do it again next year, come along with her JOJO
Please!!!
She was so shocked that we speak everyday.yes everyday."
When was the last ime I told all of u how much u mean to me.
Well I'm tellin u now
-
Ahhhh the love fest continues...
(((FireKracker))) you do have beautiful skin...and you look great all the time! Fancy lady
Jo, I remember when I was new on BCO and you and Annette and ? had your reunion...I kept looking at your pics from TX - just something special about getting together with those who have been through the BC ordeal in a way even our family doesn't get to do.Blondie - me serious? I'll have to work on that
I think my students would probably agree.
My grandkids, on the other hand, think I am ridiculous and silly...but they are an easy audience.
And let's see...what about Blondie? Beautiful, sweet, determined...and more!As Ducky says, it is hard to say goodbye after just saying hello...we realize our bond was strong even before we met in person...we can be ourselves here and don't have to put on false faces (or paper bags)...but the good news is, we are all here for one another.
Linda & 4sew, hope your plans work out soon!
Oceana, love the picture...kind of mesmerizing.
-
I love ya all to pieces. As Joan said, a bond exists for our shared journey before we meet, then once we do, it is truly amazing.
-
Good Morning Goddesses!!
Here you go!
Enjoy the day. Get packing, bus leaves in 217 hours and 43 minutes! Scottie is plotting coordinates!!
I invited a shy lurker to join us by the fire too. I mean the bonfire, not the Kracker Fire!! If she shows up do try to behave yourselves and sho a tiny amount of retraint! Don't want to immediately scare her away!!
-
thanks Joan, me not sweet, lol... -
Sandy.....yes you are..............
-
I'm totally sweet!! And so are the rest of you!
ARe you all packing yet???
-
Joan - The reunion with Annette was amazing. Let see if I can remember the names of the other sisters. There was Gina, Sherry, Timothea and I can't forget ChrissyB who traveled all the way from Australia. Now that was something very special. There was another sister but for the life of me I can't remember her name at the moment - shame on me.
I did find one of the photos and reposted it here. Aw the sweet memories.
-
love it what a big group!!
-
Ducky, love Grayson and will continue to follow her amazing progress.
Going on a posting vacation now ladies. Better take me off the bus.
{{{{hugs to all of you}}}}

-
Red, Really sorry you feel you need to leave, but I understand. Sorry for how everything is right now. Once again, I am a little confused about what the hell happened.
The bus doesn't leave for 9 more days. We will save you a seat and you can beam aboard anytime if you change your mind!
Hope your mom enjoys her trip and that things start to settle down for you now that your done with rads!!
-
Wow, this thread goes so fast now I can't keep up! Guess I better go back and read. In the meantime, hope you all had a great weekend.

I missed you. I need the help keeping these girls in line!!
-
4, Thanks - it's nice to be missed.
The ladies all seem so happy meeting each other. It's great to see - very uplifting.
Red, not sure what has happened, but I hope things get better for you!! You are in my thoughts.
-
Not meaning to be mushy or anything, but I just want to thank jo for starting this thread. The women on here are so wonderful and I love you all. Each one of you are unique and special, and if we have to go through BC, I'm so glad we are all together. Thank you all.
-
Well said Slow! And I love, love, love that we can rib each other without twisting panties!
Get packing Girlies! Homework assignments coming soon! Bus leaves soon. Paint job and stereo installation are almost complete then it has to go get retro fitted with fur seat covers, shag carpet and poles in the aisles!
