thanks badger.......to be continued...lol
-
One for all and all for one!
-
-
Love that, Alyson!
-
No trip without FK.............
-
Linda, I think how you feel about your MO is so important. I'm glad you found one that you like. I hope the gemzar kicks it to the curb. I've heard good things about it. I wish they could come up with a way to protect our digestive systems - the chemos seem to be so hard on them.
jo, I think we should throw all your office stuff into the fire when you're finished. Hopefully FK will be feeling better by then - I know from reading this thread she likes to see things burn!! LOL I know you're reading this FK - I hope that brought just a little smile to your face.
Alyson, You sound like me. Overdo it and then end up in bed for a few days. It's just so tempting to go have fun though!
I love all the one for all, and all for one pictures! I hope FK sees how much she is loved, and how it's just not the same without her.
and Ducky, you're such a good friend - to all of us!
Night all
Edited: I just hate when I miss things the first time around. Alyson - love the new avatar picture! You look great.
-
Love all the pictures.
Come one, Come all to the huge bonfire on Friday night. I am tossing in all my office crap like Linda said. Bring lots of food and drink - it will one hell of a celebration. Hopefully FK will be able to join us. It wouldn't be the same without her.
-
Good Afternoon Goddesses,
Just got home from taking my DD to the airport. I miss her already. Hope you all had a great weekend.
-
DUCKY MADE ME DO IT

And sorry that I worried u.
Xo FireKracker,,,,
-
oh thank goodness!
Welcome back!!
-
-
yup
Stronger then before
-
LMAO.........Let the fun begin....
-
Good Morning Goddesses! Hope today is a pain free day for all!!
-
FK, so glad you are back out of the basement! I know the old saying "that which doesn't kill us just makes us stronger", which seems to be the case for you this time. (I don't think this is always true, because chemo didn't kill me, it tried to, but I have never been stronger after that! So you will excuse my skepticism on these old sayings!)
Ducky, you apparently are a miracle worker! Anyone who can make FK do ANYTHING must have supernatural powers! Do we start calling you "Wonderwoman?"
-
Linda............I bugged the shit out of her, until she decided.......this one is not going to let me stay in this basement any longer........so to shut her up I have to put on my big girl panties (Veggy), and climb the stairs back to "HAPPY"........
Linda......I was depressed without her..........I did not name her Firecracker for no reason....she gives the threads the "spark" it takes to keep them going...........
Love that little Italian Bomb Shell...........even more after I sat and broke bread with her............like I had known her my entire life...............
You are the people who lift me when I am down......pick me up when I fall......and give me the strength to face another day, when giving up would be the easy thing to do..........this thread will never die..........it will go on long after all of us, because the love on here grows each and everyday............love you all.......
-
ok wonderwoman that's gonna be ur new name
I really thought I would be off for a while
Thought I needed a break
WRONG
Wonderwoman. To the rescue
I really did miss all of u but I was so wrapped up in my own grief that it took this wonderwoman to drag me up to the top of the basement
Once u meet a sista the bond is so different
One day I hope to really meet all of U,if that's possible
Now back to the fire I go
Into the fire goes that damn basement, all the grief I had from my friends passing and some other crap.
It was snowing here today so we have to make the fire in a warm place
Any ideas?
-
These threads could not function without FK.......I did not do it alone........i told her about the love that was here for her that she did not know about............it was overwhelming to see the response from all the ladies when she said she was not going to be on.......you all spoke...I got PM's ....you voiced your love for her, and all I did was relay the message...............
Your all responsible for bringing her back....thanks to all of you for giving me the messages of love to take to FK........so we all share in this........thanks ladies..........you rock.............
-
awwwww I don't blush but I'm very thankful to all of U
-
Gotta share this....this is Isabella, Grayson's sister.......guess this is how you wear a bra.......we've been doing it wrong all these years.............LMAO.
-
stopping in to issue hugs....throwing the Cubs in the fire. (Pirates won their opener) WOOT!
and sending warmth and sunshine to the other side of PA
xoxoxoxo
-
Phillies won also.....not that I care, but my son flew to Texas to watch the play.........I told him........"if they were playing across the street I would not look out the window"............LOL......I'm not a baseball fan, plus they have been playing terrible......even last year.
GO EAGLES>>>>>>>>>>>yes, football my passion......
-
Good job Ducky - getting FK out of the basement. I hate that place. You're a good woman and a wonderful friend.
FK, so good to hear you're back stronger than ever.
Nice to see you sandpiper.
-
Welcome Back FK. The bonfire is not the same without you.
-
So happy to that she is back........That door is locked, and will not be opened........you ladies are the best..................it was your kind thoughts to me, about FK.........all I was, was the messenger.....told her what you all said and were feeling.......it inspired her to make the long walk to the top of the stairs..........just glad "together" we did it................She is such fun......when we talk all we do is laugh...........remember she has a Greyson, and I have a Grayson.................LOL.........hugs to all.
-

-
Goodnight, dear friend........
-
Goodnight Moon...................Goodnight goddesses
-
I skipped over 2 pages to pretend I'm caught up...was away 4 days and you are a prolific group!
I had such a good time in Fla.with DD...weather was relatively chilly and windy...but we were busy all the time. The YES network took care of all her (and my) hotel needs, meals, and entertainment the whole time. Even a private big long black car from the airport! Two days at the Yankees spring training stadium for their last games...and behind the scenes meet-ups with players.
I ♥ baseball.Tomorrow is an easier day....will catch up.
Gotta get up soon.... -
I would like to throw in a curry. I used to like curries, but after my very first chemo treatment - FEC - nasty sicky stuff, we went out for a curry and I was throwing it up for the next 48 hours. Nothing wrong with the curry - just the effects of the FEC, but it has put me right off curries.
