What a sweetheart!! That face! Those eyes. I wanna cuddle and kiss your doggie all over.
-
What a cutie!!!! What's his/her name?
-
Thank you everyone for your kind words and hugs.
Blue, is that you hiding under there?
-
BarbaraA:
Just so you know Peter King has been a congressman now for TEN terms - I say it's time he left - I've been aware of him forever - maybe because eons ago I lived in NY State and got a belly full of him at the time - didn't know he was so hateful I had to turn off the TV this morning when he started - went out to lunch with a friend to Mandarin (Hi Blue) and now I'll have to eat salad for a week.
BTW anyone from Canada with picture posting ability want to show everyone our Defense Minister McKay - I am not of his political persuasion but I find him ever so "interesting".

Virgil is a sly toy fox terrier. He's so smart, thinks he can fool me by pretending he has to go out to pee so he can get a treat.
LOL PIP!
-
-
-
THAT'S better. I liked him a little too much in my first attempt!
Sandy...interesting is right! But crap, I see he's married.
-
Blue, our dog does the same thing. Turns around as soon as he is out the door wanting back in for his treat. They are going to take over the world some day!
-
Married is a no go. But I can still pant. Well, not a lot.
Sandy, the dude scares me. Honestly never heard of him until these stupid 'hearings'. I mean, I know a lot of members of congress (used to live in DC for 30 years) but not that guy.
-
He's probably getting from free advertising to support a presidential bid.
-
Why are Canadian men so good-looking? Is it the water? The free health care?
-
E- That isn't Peter McKay is it? Sure doesn't look like what I saw from the NATO meeting this morning.
BarbaraA - God help you if Peter King is going to run - I think he's just a nasty, mean little man.
Blue - Virgil is positively edible - he's sooooo cute (not spoiled either).
Sandy
-
E - Peter McKay isn't married I don't think - he used to date Belinda Stronach (think I've messed up her name but she was an MP a while back and also the CEO of Magna Industries - I've only been back for a year so not sure of all the players yet).
Sandy
-
Sandy, they are both spoiled rotten, but Virgil is the leader of the pack. For the longest time, I thought I was. This is Lilah. She weighs all of 5 lbs.
-
Well shoot no. That's John McKay. *slapping forehead*
-
Lilah is so sweet.
-
Just found Peter. He's cute too!
Awwww Blue...she looks like a stuffed animal! Almost too cute to be real. :-)
-
Blue:
As cute as I think my Munchkin is (she's a 12 year old, 11 lb. Bichon Terror er I mean Terrier) I would feed my whole dinner every single night to your Virgil and Lilah - how precious - spoil away!
Sandy
-
E- he's VERY cute - are you able to post his picture? BTW he's single (of course he's decades younger than I am but I can still look).
Sandy
-
Sadly no, sandy. The other McKay (John McKay, Peter MacKay) had a paste-able url link to the photo. I can't find a similar one for MacKay.
I'm not good at the newfangled picture-mabobs on this site!
-
E: Is that the kind of guys we can find on E-Harmony?? He's cute! However, that was before I saw Blue's Lilah doggie. That doggie is a heart stealer! She is so adorable. Blue I bet she has you under her control and she gets whatever she wants. Both of your doggies are favs but I must admit Lilah just really has my heart. Those eyes are like little balls of fire! You are so lucky to have two such precious pets!
E: If that cute guy can be found on E-Harmony, I have to see if his great-grandfather (more my age) will accept a coffee proposal from me. I know I have DP but variety IS the spice of life and I am only 35 in my heart. In that case, forget the great- grand, I want the guy in the photo!
Either that or Blue needs to send Lilah to me! (I stand a better chance of getting the cute guy, I think!)
-
-
I think that's him.
Medigal, yep she has my heart!
-
Oh, Blue. He is as yummy as any chocolate concoction I can think of. (no pun intended).
-
Thank you Blue - that would be the one!!! He was looking especially wonderful this morning on CBC while attending the NATO conference - Sorry Barbara but he won't be on your evening news - you'll be getting Peter King (and alas so will we BUT we'll be getting Peter MacKay looking fabulous too) - you'll have to come for a visit and we'll all go to Ottawa and see if we can scare up a meeting - I used to be very good at that in my younger politically active days.
Sandy
-
Sorry girls. I prefer Blue's cute puppies.
-
PIP - I do, too. Those dogs are precious.
-
Love the pics of Lilah and Virgil!

Story about the intelligence of animals: My son and I once spent the night at the zoo, and the keepers took us around and told us stories about the animals. My favorite was about the orangutans: when the wind would blow (or some morons would toss) stuff into their habitat, the keepers would reward them with treats if they handed over the paper, etc. The keeper said pretty soon, the orangs learned to pick up paper (maps, paper cups, etc.), rip it up into little pieces, and hand them over one piece at a time for the treats.
