It doesn't take them long to catch on, that's for sure. Suemed, is that your sister on the avatar? I think it's your mom but she could pass for a sister. How's your little boy. I remember when we were all waiting for his appearance.
-
I'm the old broad with the chemo cut and the beautiful bride I had when I was 31! My little boy is 15 (had him ten years after his big sister!)
-
Two very yummy men! Pity that they are not on dating sites.
-
Hahaha Medigal - I only get American men on eHarmony. Not quite up to Canadian standards, sad to say.

Either one of my cats could beat up these dogs, I'll have to say. And since them's fightin' words to some of you, I'm going to have to dig up a photo of my 25 pound, part Maine Coon fuzz boy!
Cats don't seem to pose for the camera like dogs do. But they DO understand about treats...
-
Of course cats don't pose for the camera. They are far too intelligent for such things.
-
Some cats know exactly how to pose for the camera because they know what is expected of royalty (excuse my lioness attack, everyone - I just found a slew of pictures):
-
Point taken. What a magnificent creature.
-
Well Virgil can pretend. He will bark up a storm as he backs away and hides behind me. We should have named him Sly.
-
Suemed you sure don't look like an old broad.
-
That's why the parents of the bride pay the photographer - to make THEM look good!
-
Athena,
I think you should get yourself a little Abyssinian kitten to love. I've always loved their resemblance to an African cat. I never have figured out how to post photos here or I would include one, but they are beautiful cats. Love your photos.
-
a super easy way to post photos (if you have a facebook account) is to simply copy (from Facebook) and paste to here in a message box. anyone's photos.
-
Here is my baby girl (Lucy) helping me out in my office.

If there were 2 buttons, what would prevent someone from abusing the spam button the same way they abuse the report this post button? Unjust bannings can already be reported to the Moderators, that's why these atttacks take place on weekends or at night, when there is generally no Moderator.
I really believe it would help to show the names of those who report a post. That is why, the one time I reported two post, I posted that I did so and why.
In general, I believe that if people post something offensive, their post should stand for people to see exactly what they are like, but in that ONE case, .the posts were so outrageous I did not believe they should stand.
-
Sorry posted twice
-
Were you replying to my post in the Cyberbullying thread? I had suggested that someone misusing the spam button would build up strikes toward a banning. I also agreed with posting the name of who had reported a post.
-
Yes Riley, I was
Me and the computer are not seeing eye to eye this morning.
There seems to be no fear of banning but some people seem to be really afraid of having the names of reporters revealed. That says a lot to me.
-
Hmm, revealing their socks to all?
Edited to add that I just got the page that others were talking about - with links to every page in this thread but nothing else. Very weird!
-
Yes
Their stinky holey socks.
-
I don't mind having my name revealed if I report a post. I've only reported one and it was a horrible, clear attack on a new poster and their family as well. There was no doubt it was a defamatory post. Others posted that they had reported as well. I didn't post that I had reported but I will start in the future.
-
I don't mind having my screen name posted either. I always post a note that I've hit the 'report' button anyway, as well as why I hit that button.

February has passed .. yay! Palin considered the biggest loser in 2012 repub race.
Mitch Daniels and Tim Pawlenty considered forerunners.
But not a single Insider in either party thought Palin had improved her standing recently and a solid plurality of Republican Insiders along with a majority of Democrats thought she was the biggest loser in the GOP field.
-
I was wondering when you'd break your vow of silaence, Bren. It's taken nearly two weeks!! I didn't miss "her" at all. I think she's a non-factor.
We got bigger problems in this nation. Like what's going on in Michigan.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUpO1QFMDtM
And in the McKingey Hearings in Congress.
And in Wisconsin.
"She" doesn't have a dog in this fight...
-
OMG .. Michigan is going to tax the elderly and the poor to increase their budget shortfall. Stinkin' thinkin' in my opinion.
You're right .. "She" does not have a dog in that fight!
I just couldn't help be a little giddy that she had fallen so far from grace in the polls!

What is happening around this country is truly frightening. I have friends in Michigan and they are horrified at what the governor is doing, and very much afraid that they will lose their jobs. Palin may not have a direct hand in what is going on there and in Wisconsin, but it is her party and in some cases her funds that are directing those campaigns.
She may be the biggest loser, but I think Newt is in a race to tie her for the distinction.
-
Barbara, I think our cats were seperated at birth. Twins!!! I wish I knew how to post pictures.
-
I was watching "Bones" last night and they took a shot a Palin. Funny!
-
Michigan is screwed. But we have been for the last ten years. We never recovered from the last recession and then this one hit. While I am no fan of Snyder and I think what he is doing is truly appalling, I don't know who could clean up this mess. At least GM is doing better.
So at a time of all time high poverty levelsSnyder wants to tax pensions and cut the earned income tax credit. unfrickingbelieveable

Well, now that we are back to politics and the risk of deletions has just risen exponentially, let's see if we detect the same old patterns or not....It's Friday, after all....
