Luv,
"Worrying is like praying for something you don't want to happen." Robert Downey Jr
Is not he a darling? love him
But all jokes aside, try just brush it off and stop imagine bad things, just opposite - try to imagine how this thing gets smaller and smaller. Very good exercise for your willpower and putting positive energy out there. I know, easier said than done, but worth trying.
Good luck tomorrow and I wish all ladies to have an easy week, only good news

Thanks so much Ella!! XO!
-
Well my PCP is out of her office until July 6th! I made an appointment with the other doctor there at 1:45 today. I've seen him a few times before but I hate not seeing my regular doctor!
-
Ella,
I needed that "don't worry" poster above. Not just with cancer, but normal life in general. Thanks for posting that and Robert Downey quote!
-
Arlene, - the exchange is not NEARLY as difficult as the mx!!
-
hi anotha
Its the redux/ lift on the right that has me worried. I just stink at being a pt. and the hematoma incident I had after mx has me spooked . Hate the drain. Blaaah.
Thanks for thinking of me!
Love
Arlene

Luv and Arlene - Holding your hand. Just remember to keep breathing. Jan
-
Thanks Jan! I'm getting more nervous the closer it gets to my appointment. I emailed my nurse navigator and she of course said we have lymph nodes everywhere, which I knew. She said see what this doctor I'm seeing today says and go from there.
Arlene, you'll be alright. We're here for you and will miss you when you're away from the forum, so hurry back please! What day is your surgery? Sorry if I missed that somewhere. XOXO!!
-
Just got back from the doctor and he thinks the things I feel are tendons. He checked the clavicle and axillary nodes and said all felt normal. He said if it does spread to the nodes it most likely would go to the axillary nodes first, just like Arlene said! Both sides of my chest and arms are pretty sore! He said that's probably from me pushing around everywhere though!
-
Luvmydobies I'm so glad you got some peace of mind! Now go do something relaxing! If you're so inclined...have a nice glass of wine!
-
LUV= Take ALhusband advise. Glad it was only tendons. Mama Mia!!! I worry about you!!!
-
Thanks AL and Eileen! I'm mentally and physically exhausted. It's crazy how it hits afterward! My stomach has been feeling off ever since I got home. I stressed ate all weekend and I think it's aggravating my IBS. My own fault, I know! I'm also sore. I cried more the last few days than I had in months and I've been cleaning house a lot and stuff. Everything has just hit I guess. I'm thankful the doctor wasn't concerned though! Now I'm going to focus on thinking good thoughts and relax after I eat and clean the kitchen. Going to the Doberman rescue tomorrow should relieve a lot of the stress also. The director of the rescue wants to go see the Magic Mike sequel this week with me so I'm sure that will be a nice distraction. Haha!!

Had my routine check up today. All good. So that's over with for another few months
-
WooHoo Cocker!!!
Just got off the phone with my sister and she met a TN girl today who has been cancer free for seven years, diagnosed at 22! She is the manager at a place we shop at in TX. She told her to tell me to come in and meet her next time I'm back home. So I plan to do that. She had C Diff too, unfortunately. She said that was the worst part of treatment for her too and the fear of it sticks with her to this day. How crazy is that? It doesn't make sense, but C Diff is scary and crappy. Pun intended!
-
YEAH COCKER!!!!!!!
-
So glad to read your update, Cocker!

YAAAAYYYY Cocker, Toby And Luv
Let's keep up the GOOD NEWS!!!
Hi to All, and thank u Shari and Anothernycgirl!
-
Arlene, did you have your surgery yet? Sorry chemo brain and I can't remember when this week you were booked for! Positive thoughts hon!
-
Hi Shari
July 7 , next tuesday, I will have re-excision of mx on left to "scrape" any remaining tissue, as I had a close anterior margin. Then I will have a silicon implant on the left. On the right I am having a reduction and lift. Getting anxious, can't wait til its over.
Hope you're feeling good
Arlene
-
Arlene, you'll be in my prayers. May I ask what your margin was? My closest margin was chest wall at 3mm which to me sounds close. I'm going to ask my surgeon about it but she was happy with margins. I will also be having a reduction/lift on good side so understand your fears. I'm told it's not as bad as my diep- hope so! We've been through enough but almost there! Positive thoughts hon!

Luv & Cocker & Toby
