Oh...don't tell me I'm gonna have to write a poem about hemorrhoids. What the hell rhymes with hemorrhoids? Fat necrosis was tough enough!
-
Ally I like your new picture--you look great!!
-
AL - I'm trying to take a break from the site for awhile, but I just had to thank you for bringing a smile to my face. You are the best! Good wishes for your lucky wife.
Paula

Starboards, rheumatoid, asteroids, castor oil, mastoid, opiods...just a few that I thought of.
-
MO wants to do xray vs scan or mri...thoughts??
-
AL here you go.
If you have carcinoids, anthropoids, alkaloids, humanoids and adenoids. then you get paranoid,
-
I'd prefer the MRI or an ultrasound.
-
Ladies my wife has been having some fairly persistent bone pain in her pelvic area. She is going in today for a bone scan to rule out mets. Please say a little prayer that that's exactly what happens and mets are "ruled out" definitively. I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks
-
Sure will Al.... -
sending prayers, Al.
-
prayers up!
-
ALH Prayers for your dear wife and you.
-
Al, lots of powerful positive thoughts for both
-
AL - Prayers for both of you!!!! -
Thank you everyone for the kind thoughts. I go next Friday to meet and greet MD. Then he will tell me when he can do the test. I am trying to keep my anxiety low. I had a pet scan in Nov. All good !!! My blood work has been all good. Yes, I got the BIG C from chemo. Still, more test!!! UGH!! I just want a break. Will post when I know more. Hugs to all my very special friends. What rhymes with hemorrhoids. Tabloids. Yes, a new reality show. The triple negative girls and one hubby!!!!
-
Sending my love and positive thoughts to you both all the way from Sydney. I'm sure prayers will be coming to you from all over the world Al
-
Saying prayers for you and your wife ALHusband
-
AL sending heaps of prayers for you and your Kathy and will be deep in your pocket with hope.
Eileen I had the chemo C as well. I think it's fair to say it was my worst side effect because it was so painful and so distressing for me. I also still have it most of the time but not so bad. Hopefully you do have a haemorrhoid caused by straining which then causes bleeding. Did your occult bloods come back ok ? and it's a good sign that all of your blood tests have been normal. I hope you get the answers to this persisting problem soon and it's all good. Sending a big hug.
Ally good to see you posting again. It's good to have a break sometimes to clear your head and concentrate on yourself for a while instead of worrying about others.
-
All blood work came back ok. WBC 2. 9. I think I will be ok until test. LOVE YOU ALL!!!
-
GREAt news Eileen!
Kath

Jenjen thinking of you and hoping all scans/x-rays come back benign.
AL thinking of you and your Kath and hoping all is good for you both
Have a great un-stressful day ladies. Sunday here, I am never sure if you are the same day as me or a day earlier or later but have a great day anyway
-
Jen, praying for you too!
I've been thinking of you and AL today and I wonder if anyone else has heard this but one girl in our young survival support group who is also TN said her Oncologist who supposedly specializes in TN told her it is extremely rare for TN to spread to the bones. Anyway praying for those of you waiting for test results. Keep us posted. X
-
Sending extra BE WELL wishes out to Al, Jen, and everyone here!
Ally! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! May this be the start of a wonderful year!!
and Happy Father's Day to all the Dads in your lives!
-
Prayers from me to you and your wife Al. Also, happy father's day!
-
AL wishing & praying for NED.
My MO told me that very rare for bone mets in us TN's. She said biggest recurrence is Brain & Lungs.
Just finished my checkups with MO & BS. All good they say. MO did order PET for me as follow up. I go Monday EARLY (6:30am) as I am first in line. I can't take CT with contrast or any contrast that has iodine. So PET is best for me.
Still doing my yoga. My arthritis is getting worse (hip & low back) but I keep going. The yoga helps stretch & relieve some of the pain.
Happy Fathers Day to our fella members & to our DH's.
NED's forever,
Marsha

Jen and AL, hoping for the best with the bone issues. I have also heard the same thing from my MO that it is rare for TNBC to go to the bones. Even so, my MO once ordered a bone scan for me shortly after I finished treatment due to a pain in my rib. Let us know how things turn out.
Eileen, do you have your colonoscopy date set yet?
Wishing everyone a good Monday.
-
Kay= Go to gastro on Friday to set up appointment. Meet and greet.UGH!! Just want to get test over with. However, saw my blood results. All normal except for WBC count which I know is always low. Feel so much better after seeing those results. Thanks for asking. Hope you are doing well.
Good luck Jen and Al.
-
AL, will you guys get results from your wife's bone scan today? Thinking about ya'll and praying!
Jen, when are you having your X-Ray? Sorry if I missed that somewhere! We've been on vacation and I haven't been reading here as much lately. I know you asked about X-Ray versus MRI or scan. I don't know why they'd do an X-Ray instead but maybe they're just checking for something simple before doing more expensive tests?? I think X-Rays will show arthritis and maybe that's what they think you have. Just some thoughts! Praying for you girl!
Eileen let us know when your scope is going to be. Praying for you as well! The prep is the hardest part but if I can handle it anyone can. If you get a choice,I used Moviprep and it wasn't bad at all! Hang in there!
I've had some bad headaches lately. Hoping it's just from the heat and/or allergies but my mind is wandering a bit!
Think of all of you and praying! XOXOXO!!!
