The cake also expands and slows down digestion, so everyhting stays in there longer.
(Am I making enough justifications?)
-
YES. But I don't like it and its not fair.. Can I just enjoy myself once a month without gaining 3 pounds overnight.
You think time of the day is important too?
Ice cram was a pint I only had 4 heaping Tablespoon.
♥
-
I think you can lose a couple of pounds quickly, too. Don't worry about it. Just drink your water and eat healthy. Enjoy it when you do have a treat and don't make yourself feel guilty.
-
Suzwes - LOL have you been peeping at my food diary!!!
Meece - I know I joined fairly early on - was I one of the first fledglings??
Incidently I have made the 100lb loss mark!!!!
Sheila - I know exactly how you feel - when I was growing up my sister would eat the chocolate bar and I would put on the weight!!! But what were you thinking of eating that 3 lb bag of nacho chips!!!
It's really great to celebrate weight lost - but so many friends gained!!!!
-
You sure were, less than seven hours into it.
I have to say, today I dug into a drawer with some pants I bought within a few months of finishing chemo. I have been wqearing a pair all day and I don't feel like I am gonna pop the seams!!!
-
Thanks. Maybe when I stop the femara in 10 days or so, things will change.
I always drink water almost double amount of 32 oz.
Ainm it was only 3 or 4 ounces not 3 pounds.
-
Just thought it might wash the cake out of you system.
-
Can we really wash things out by drinking extra water.

I'm really in a mood for Chinese but probably I shouldn't push it.
Thank You for listening my venting.
Sometimes I really get mad.
♥
-
No worries, Seyla. Vent away, it burns calories!
-
Sheila - my captain - it was a joke!!!
-
I thought it was, I didn't even know they made 3 pound bags, but it gave me hope!!
-
Birdies, you're doing so well!
I am so off my routines and really need to buckle down. I was messing around with one of my meds and have gained some weight because of it but I think I'm at a good dose now (it isn't my Femara - I wouldn't mess with that)! Hopefully I'll start losing again.
I just checked and I was one of the first fleglings too!
Glad you all like my diet : ) Wouldn't it be fun if we could really eat like that and get away with it?
-
I have the fledgling list on my other computer. I'll try to remember to post it.
-

Happy Birthday Ainm. Hugs♥

Happy Birthday Ainm - Have a fun day (which is probably almost done for you by now!) and a terrific year.
-
Meece...I went back to page 1 elimar was the first poster.
I was 2nd.
Hi suz.
I miss Nicole.♥
-
Thank you all so much for the Birthday Wishes - I really appreciate it.
-
Suzwes I loved the "diet". I just cracked up and had to read to DH!
Ainm, I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
-
Oh, Snap!
Did I miss the birthday party?
AINM!!!!
ONE HUNDRED POUNDS!!!!!!!
I think that calls for bird seed for the whole bird house!!!!!!!
xx00xx00xx00xx
-
Don't birds eat 1/2 their weight in food every day? And hummingbirds....twice their weight. I'm thinking we are going to need some MORE bird seed (or CAKE)! A lot more!
-
Ainm, congratulations on the 100 lb loss! Wow you're such an inspiration.
Suzwez - I followed the diet you suggested, loved the last part of the day the best! Love the chocolate, sticky fingers and all... Not sure how I will do tomorrow with the weigh in.
May have to jog around the block a few times. Does laughing out of the chair count as exercise???? -
I've slowed my munching by application of some soul-satisfying creative time. Still haven't stopped entirely. Lord only knows what my weigh-in will be like, but each day, a new beginning. I'll keep trying with all of your help.
-
I'm loosing it!
Seyla I so get it.
Apart from the restaurant on Friday, I was a real good kid this week.
Did I loose any weight? NO
Ainm - WOW. Good for you!! I'm so happy to see that it can be done.
Friday check in- 3 points
Same weight - 1 point
Water - 7 points
exercise - 5 points
No extra points for me

Total - 16 points for the Hummingbirds
-
Maybe we need to be moving more to burn those calories!
-
Hummingbird checking in this morning:
Friday check in = 3 points
Weight down 1 lb to 146 = 2 points
Another ELab low = 1 point

Total this week = 19 points
Heading out of town for a wedding tomorrow - will try to stay away from the wedding cake! Maybe just a small piece....
-
Way to go, Valgirl! Don't deprive yourself, just use common sense. If you deprive yourself you will start associating your efforts with the negative aspects only.
-
Roadrunner here checking in for 3 pts.
Ainm, that's why I had cake yesterday - it was in celebration of your birthday. No-one told me a slice of carrot cake weighed 2.4 lbs. which is what I gained this week = 0 pts!!!!
Exercise = 11 pts and water = 5pts. Not even looking for extra credit because I wasn't very good this week.
Weight today 180.4
Total pts for week = 19 pts.
Oh well, another week starts today - nice that we can start over weekly.
