I Come to the Garden...

Yes, I've been trying to post pcitures from photobucket, but had no luck
-
Photobucket is easy. Do you have them uploaded to Photobucket yet?
-
How do you upload only the new pictures without uploading the entire camera?
how come i was able to download pictures to the FB?
I used my Olympus cameras uploading page.
Am I making any sense/
-
In Photobucket, you can pick which photos you upload to your photobucket site. I am not sure about FB, I still haven't caught on to the purpose of it.
-
I will forget all about this. Its driving me crazy.
if someone sat next to me and showed me i will get it. but DDs rush me and I become completely unteachable.
-
I have a tech-y son that does the same thing to me. Walk me through it, but let me do the controls. And for goodness sake, don't just tell me "Click okay", I want to read what I am okay-ing!
-
meece..I like to take notes when I'm learning something new. Of course I'm not allowed because they tell me "It's so easy Mom you don't have to write anything down"
Thats why i try not to ask any questions about my puter. when they first got this computer for me for Christmas my daughter sat with me less than 2 hours thinking I will understand and learn everything. LOL Whatever I do here I learned by practicing.
Other than that I do not have any complaints about them.
-
I figured out photobucket and have uploaded pictures from my hard drive on their site, but when I tried to post them, even after resizing them, they were blurry and really big. I'll keep playing with it. All three of my boys are computer whizs, and I learned fairly easily but this has me stumped.
-
Mary, once you get them into the import box in your message, you can resize them just by moving the corners in. They won't be blurry unless they were to begin with. My only problem with importing from Photo bucket is that it always make two copies and I have to delete one.
-
Ok, I thought the 2 copies was something I was doing. Will try again.
-
I took this picture several years ago with my sister in Rochester, NY. It was a hedge at a hotel that was so very beautiful
-

when the pictures show up in your message, just highlight one of them, and all the stupid letters and such and hit delete. Leave only the one picture you want.
Those berries look delicious!
-

Thank You for your Sons and Daughters
-
Seyla you did it! You done good!

I thought you just picked "small medium or large" before you posted them...?

(((((((((((JONI)))))))))

These are called 4th of July Roses. Saw them in Spokane, WA years ago.
" -
Mary......Your flowers are so beautiful.
Congratulations for figuring out how to post. You are doing good.
Sheila

-
Those are beautiful roses!!!
-
Mary I have never seen Roses like that before.Absolutlely beautiful.
-
LOVE those roses.
Here's a little creature that posed for a picture, just after the parade the other day:
Is it a moth or a butterfly?
How do you tell the differenece??
-
Ask him?
-
But, just looking at the antennea, I would say it is a butterfly. That, and the fact most moths are active in the evening. BUT butterflies usually don't rest with their wings out. It's brightly colored-butterfly, Body looks a bitt "hairy" - moth.
The answer is...it's a motherfly!
-
I thought "moth" initially becuz of the stocky body. I think of butterflies being more svelte! I agree with the new genus altho those are usually named after the discoverer, so how about "FaithMeece Motherfly"
-
OK. Here's another view.
Better shot of the body -- which looks like a 747.
It was funny, because this creature sat on this flower in the shade, with it's wings open the whole time.... several minutes, until my camera's batteries went kaput.
His friend, sat in the sun, with it's wings closed up tight for the entire time.
You specialists -- now what do you suppose??
-
That, my dear ladies is a Red Admiral BUTTERFLY! very closely related to the FaithMeece Motherfly, but the later is very ellussive, and extremely camera shy.
-
Huh, I was with Eph on this. With the second shot of such a wide-beamed butt, I was sure it was a moth!
-

I Googled it, and this is what came up.
-
See, they like Daisies, that's the clue. JK
-
Golly gee-whiz.
I thought surely I had 'captured' the illusive
FaithMeece Motherfly.
Will recharge my batteries and go on the search again.
