Very nice Meece! We had some people donate a large sum of money to something (chemo brain-cant' remember the details at all, other than)... the last name was Meese & I thought of you! Editted to add: (It was in today's paper, I think---it's terrible, I trulyl can't remember anything about it other than the similiarity to your name & that stuck with me
) -

I am so glad you like it, 3jays.
Sometimes, out of nowhere, a song or hymn comes to mind, and I feel like I need to post it here.
-
Hope everyone enjoys this shot my DH took in Panama I spent just as much time under that tree but did not come up with much worth posting. But it was a wonderful way to spend the morning.

VICTORY IN JESUS
I heard an old, old story, how a Savior came from glory How He gave His life on Calvary to save a wretch like me
I heard about His groaning, of His precious blood's atoning
Then I repented of my sins and won the victoryChorus:
Oh victory in Jesus, my Savior forever He sought me and He bought me with His redeeming blood He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing floodI heard about His healing, of His cleansing power revealing
How He made the lame to walk again and caused the blind to see
And then I cried, "Dear Jesus, come and heal my broken spirit"
I then obeyed His blest command and gained the victoryRepeat Chorus
The flood...
I heard about a mansion He has built for me in glory
And I heard about the street of gold beyond the crystal sea About the angels singing and the old redemption story
Oh and some sweet day I'll sing up there the song of victory He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing floodI've got a victory in Jesus
You've got a victory in Jesus -

Have so enjoyed catching up with all the posts and the beautiful pictures! My father is ok, but will never be the same. The first week I was in the States, he was paralyzed on his left side, but he was still Dad. He had more brain swelling and after that, he just hasn't been the same. My step mother is really struggling, but I know the Lord can I help her through. We arrived back here in Okinawa on the 2nd. I had my next treatment on the 4th. Our container came the 9th and we finished loading it and sent it on it's way Aug. 13! I have my heart function test on Aug 23rd and my next treatment on Aug 25th. This will be my last medical thing in Japan. Sept 9th is my first appointment at Cleveland Clinic.
Thank you to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. I talked about this website to everyone at the hospital in Minnesota. The Lord has really used this "place" to help me through some difficult times. Thank you again, and especially to Meece! I hope we can meet one day!
My Dad and I
