Thanks, everyone! Hopefully the dates will work out next time. I'd love to meet you all.
Back to cooking. Plain matzoh may be boring but when you bake it up with onions, mushrooms and peppers, or apples, raisins and cinnamon, it can be really delicious!
-
I used to love when my mother made a matzoh bra (don't know how else to spell it) .... like french toast made with matzoh... very yummy and very rich with lots of eggs. Also a "bubeleh"....when she would take the egg white and fluff it up, put in some yolk carefully and then cook .. it was a fluffy omelet.........these were two of our standard and special Passover treats. My mother died of breast cancer and the anniversary of her death is this coming Wednesday night according to the Jewish calendar. It's always during Passover.

Just wanted to let you know that I am fairly certain Pickle Barrel has a Passover menu.

Sherri,
I know someone that went to the Rainforest Cafe and they tell me that it is an absolutely gorgeous atmosphere, however very, very expensive menu.... Charmaine

This 'Pickle Barrel Get Together' sounds like it is gonna be a good time. I was just invited by Sherri yesterday I think it was. Unfortunately at the moment I am not feeling the greatest because of my RADS burn...
I do hope that in the future I will have the opportunity to meet you all and that we will have another 'Get Together' in the Toronto area.
I live in Durham Region (Pickering Village - Ajax). I also do not drive... so I generally take the Go Bus in to Toronto, or try to catch a ride with people ....
Have a great time everybody... Charmaine

We had a lovely time today with nine ladies attending. It was wonderful meeting face-to-face. The company was great and so was the food/service at Pickle Barrel (Yorkdale location). Stay tuned as there is going to be a photo posted soon.
Looking forward to connecting again in the future!

Sherri, thanks for getting this organized. It was great to meet everyone face-to-face and have fun together. It sounds like a trip to Niagara on the Lake to see Linda might be our next outing.

As for Niagara on the Lake, is that around Niagara Falls?

Waaaaaaaaaa! I'm missing from the pic. I am such bad company right now with my pain that I don't even like myself! Was hoping DH would drive me to work and then on to Yorkdale but he had an opportunity to work so he took it. I took the day off work instead......
