Wonderful Christmas Day!

Hi all-
Christmas was nice if a bit chilly for Houston area-but I miss the snow. I know the aftermath is no fun but when it is falling it is magic. Christmas brought out a lot of whining on my part- felt bad but could not help it. I have a knot that popped up on my top abdomen and it has been driving me crazy. Will call doc tomorrow. Supposed to see Oncologist this week to start on one of the AI drugs and then the plastic guy for my second fill. Things could be so much worse I feel bad for feeling bad. I'll snap out of it but geez....i feel like a slug- family all disappeared today as they thought the best thing was to give mom some ROOM. Thanks for all being here.

Annette, welcome to the Stage I, thread. Sorry it is under these conditions. Although you feel bad for filling bad, sometimes it helps to let others know you aren't feeling great. When everyone thinks you are "normal", you can begin to feel like they don't care. When they know you are still not in tip top shape, they are more likely to show compassion. I found that you are less likely to wallow in self pity when someone else is showing you they care.
-
Sheila - Come on down!
annettek - Welcome! Sorry to see you hear. It is okay to whine, we all do on occasion. The ladies here are super supportive and will listen whenever you need it.
