CALLING ALL STAGE I SISTERS

Sheila - I just know you will be fine when you stop Femara. Gotta let go of the security blanket and believe that you have conquered the beast.
-
-
Thanks Jo.♥

DS & DIL are stuck in Indianapolis tonight. The next flight they can get home is tomorrow night at 8:00.
If I can work out the logistics, it looks like I will be in hawaii in three weeks. I look forward to some sun.
-
Lucky you Meece
Hope the logistics work out for you....
By the way, when I saw your very fancy pie with all the cutouts, I knew you were in a whole other league. I am a darn good cook but not a baker....DH is trying to become that for us
-
Thank you so much for the complement RCG. I doubt we are in "other" leagues. I think we just have different strengths.
-
sheila: love the new avatar.. and welcome cogetta.. new to me, anyway.. rain city, im glad rads are being manageable to you.. Dborye.. i grw up in Natick, but had family in Lowell.. its' really a small world..
3jays
-
3jays, I grew up in Danvers but now live in Seattle....it's a small world after all
-
RCG, you have lived so many places! How long have you been in your current location?
-
Meece - I have moved 12 times in my life time - been here the longest - 11 years
-
In the first forty years of my life I moved three times. the next two and a half years I moved four times. This will most likely be another long stint in this house.
Have a quarter of the blocks of the antique quilt, quilted.

You found some cute graphics, jo!
-
So was Santa good to you? I sure hope so. I have to say that I looked around our table and realized that everyone I loved was there and they were all smiling, (and so was I). Does it get any better than that?
All the very best for a peaceful and calm, healthy new year. I am so glad to kick this year in the butt.
take good care and just breathe. . .

Good late morning, we have not gone out to shovel and snow blow yet, it is still snowing and blowing.
My Grandparents lived in Lowell until they moved to FL, they are gone now, my grandmother was 94 when she passed on her bday. My Grandfather was 85 when he passed. My mother died of BC before my Grandmother died of old age.
-
Meece - I have lived in Mass, Maine, North Carolina and Seattle. Grew up near Boston, early part of marriage in Maine, one year in NC, and then 25 years here in Seattle area. I think I am getting used to it
If it were up to me, I never would have left but I guess I am a more rounded person now? I mean that figuratively and literally.
-
I live 35 miles from the town I grew up in. I must still have some corners, huh?
-
I doubt it Meece. You have been through divorce, remarriage, and breast cancer - I am pretty sure you have run the gamut. I would have given anything to raise children near family and to have had that kind of help and support.
-
My ex wouldn't let my family be close. Best I could do was have my father take my children to Sunday School because when EXDH didn't want me to go to church, I could not go to church, period.
-
I can relate to you Meece.
Not necessarily church but everything had to be his way.
The whole world was wrong.
If he said the sky was red it was red.
He thought God put him on this Earth.......
-
EXDH used to tell me to never correct a thing he said, if it was wrong, or a lie, I jsut needed to agree with him.
-
I'm glad you two are rid of those DH (dick heads)
-
deborye - I like the DH comment. That sums it up for a lot of the men
-
I hope you kicked the shit out of them on their way out the door...
-
raincitygirl - Had to LOL on that one
-
thanks jo - wondered if it might be offensive to some but now that i have BC, i don't really worry what others thnk so much
-
He was so full of it, your could never kick it all out of him.
-
i kicked him out after He was caught with another woman or more?????
Baby was like 5 weeks old.
I took all his clothes and like a maniac woman started throwing everything in the middle of the LR. I lost it.
Poor DD only 3 years old, she was crying because I was always a calm person, neighbors almost called the police because I was screaming from the top of my lungs baby woke up crying.........
-
raincitygirl - I really don't care what others think too. I had a bit of that attitude before BC but have it really bad now.
