Sometimes you have to be careful clicking on the pictures to post, my computer just came up with a warning about malware. I closed that one fast.
-
Deb...It just happened to me too again.
I turned off the puter.
What do you do when that happens?
-
I just closed out. When I want to post a picture I minimize one window and open up another by clicking one the Internet Explorer again.

Hey everyone so glad to hear that most are doing well. Sheila, sorry you have a head cold... yuck! Onestep thanks for thinking of me as strong! LOL! I try to be but sometimes I can be quite the wimp (or so I think). And to all the newbies mdg and cogetta and anyone else I may have missed (and believe me its not hard when you have tamoxifen brain, have been through a rough year and have to read 3-4 pages to catch up). haha!! Oh and grannydukes... it was me that had surgery unless there was someone else on the board that I missed that was having surgery. Like I said, highly probable and not done on purpose. I simply find that after the tumultous year I have had I don't recall things as well as I did before.
Today has been a pretty good day for me as far as recuperating from post breast reduction/lift on the good side and a lift on the radiation side goes. I'll admit that my breasts at day 3 post op of course do not look anything like what I pictured them, I think my expectations were a little to high. The incisions are ugly right now and the assymetry is still quite off just not as much as it was before the surgery. I am very tender and sore but not in a tremendous amount of pain like I thought I would be and that is a good thing. I have only taken Tylenol today and one pain pill this evening, and the Tylenol was earlier for a temperature, which has now gone away!! The doctors office seem to think the temp was related to post anesthesia. The worst thing for me is not being able to pick up and hug on my little 23month old granddaughter... she doesn't understand.
I know it won't be forever, but 6 wks can seem like a life time.
I can't do much so I am sitting here watching my daughter wrap Straitlyn's presents from Santa.

Penny, it took many weeks for the swelling to subside. I remember going to a follow up with my BS and telling him I loved the results from the surgery and wished he could do the same to the other side. The swelling lifted the breast and the partial mx really made it look perky. Then the swelling went down and the divot showed up. I hope you have better luck with that, but there is always recon after you see what the results of rads are.
-
Mimi, so glad you are recouperating well. The worst part of recoup for me was the not sleeping with my arm over my head. I have done that since forever.
-
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
-
-
Mimi - Glad to hear you are recovering well. Take it one day at a time. You are a strong person and will be back hitting the ground running before you know it.
