Tracey, thank you for the welcome.
Barbe, we can have a big slumber party at my house for free..LOL
I will check with my daughter and see if she can get us free tickets to ChipnDales...She knows several of the dancers and they are always offering to give her free tickets...If nothing else maybe I can get us a discount.
Shonda
-
Can she get us a date? What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
-
Barb thanks for making me laugh as I'm sitting here all drugged up
I just got home from getting my nipple
Shonda thanks for joining us and if you could get us a deal that would even be better
ok I better lay down and rest before I fall over
-
Hey, I'm just saying...limo guy, chip or dale, or chip and dale. It's all good!
-
OMG Marilyn me to, me to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is me with my tongue hanging out! LOLTracey
-
Barb - stop already -- had my nip and skin graft areola today with a nice long tummy incision and it hurts to laugh!!!!
Of course, we would only be going for the singing and the aerial stunts, right ladies?

Sheila
-
SHEILA thanks for checking in!! Good thing the Vegas trip doesn't happen till Sept, huh? We'll be all healed by then and be ready for laughing, singing, dancing, Chippendales, and LOTS of FUN!!!
Yeah, TRACEY my tongues hanging out too!
But it's not about semi-naked bodies, it's the aesthetic aerial stunts and singing that I'm interested in!!!

Oh yeah!!! RIGHT!!!Welcome Shonda
-
LOL Marylin!!
Yes of course!

Havn't posted here in a while guess I am more of a lurker than a poster, but I still wanna go. I am 31yrs old non-smoker (quit when I got the BC) drinker and am and have always been a night owl. (no wakey wakey before noon) sorry being so late on the intro. The thunder from down under? Not my thing where is the show with skinny guys in tight jeans and emo/punk hair? You know the kind that spend as much time on thier hair as I used to. I cant wait ladies!
-
Hey girls,
I'm finally chiming in here with my personal info. I'm 46, will be 47 by Vegas. Non-smoker, LOVE my wine! I'm fine with sharing a bed, as long as it's at least a queen. Do we know if they'd be just full-size or queen? I would definitely be up for a show, some shopping and hanging by the pool. Loved the sound of that Italian restaurant. I'm not a gambler, so casino's don't hold much interest for me.
I'm not quite sure yet about whether I'll be able to go. But I'd love to go, and I'm going to give it my best shot!
-
Hi Ladies, so has there been a decision about what hotel or anything yet??? I have been out of the loop a bit, trying to get use to the TE and just when it finally stopped hurting every moment and looking up.....I had my first fill 2 days ago.....I am so dang depressed, I think the pain is wearing me down.
I am really looking forward to a vacation.
Teresa
-
I'm a queen, I'll share a bed....

-
LOL Barrie... LOL.. this is gonna be so much fun! I cannot wait..... I LOVE my wine too Mona.. you better make it happen girl!

-
Teresa.. Tracey is really looking into it now.... We should have some idea before too long...
-
Hey Ladies,
Ok I am gonna break us up into groups of 4 people per room. There are a few who want to be in groups of 2 so just please PM me and let me know who you are. These groups will be your roomates. I have a good idea who goes where. If you want to be in a 2 person room please private message me. So far Paris looks good $123 per night but I will keep looking until early May to get us the best price possible. The list will be here by Monday if not sooner.
Thanks Ladies...See ya in Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tracey
-
Wahhooooooo... it begins..........
-
I'm in, with my 1 year old... and I'll get a friend/sitter, but I think we'll need our own room? Remember ladies on Hormone Therapy, we still have to use birth control...

-
Hey there ladies!
What a fantastic idea. (I PM'd you Tracey about the info).
I recently met up w/my Aug. chemo sisters last Friday in Palm Desert and we had a blast! We couldn't stop talking! It was so amazing.
I'd love to meet all of you amazing ladies. Sounds too fun!

Oh My Gosh....I have been a member since Sept...and I have never posted. I have lurked from time to time, but have been focused more on my caring bridge site and facebook. Instead of bonding with fellow breast cancer survivors I have been trying to spread the word. Now I am ready to join the crowd!!! OMG when I saw post about Vegas and meeting up with y'all I got SO excited and let me tell ya I was most emotional. After all we have been through we deserve a vacation!!!! To be with my Ta Ta Sistahs ...I can't even tell you what that means!
I know I am a newcomer and if I am out of place just let me know...ok you're all too kind for that. J.....but really I would LOVE to meet you all in Vegas!!! I also have another friend who I met through fb who is going through bc and more!!....ugh she deserves this too!! She is having emergency surgery on Monday and I hope to visit her in the hospital. We have never met in person yet, but we both know we are soul sistahs!
OK I'm rambling...I had my exchange March 10th. I am having a hysterectomy June 9th. My sweet ps knew how depressed I was of my weight gain so he gave me an incentive. He told me that if I were to lose some weight in the next few months he would do a tummy tuck and lipo for no charge and we pay only hospital fees!! Then I told him of my hysterectomy. He said he could do it at same time and save on hospital costs. Well as you all know, we have paid enough this yr, so insurance will foot the entire bill!! YAY!!!
I had my exchange on a Tuesday...so I called it "TaTa Tuesday". Then we all got creative....called it Ta Ta Tuesday, Whip em out Wednesday, Feel em up Friday...Strap em down Saturday, Start over on Sunday, Mammary Monday...haha.
Anyway let me know if it's ok to crash the VEGAS PINK PARTAY!!!
HUGS! JazzyJ
-
Jazzy, Yikes! I don't DO pink!
LOVE your weekday rhyme thingy (what do you call it?) Y'all forgot Thursday, tho.....
Can't wait to see yah in Vegas, baby!
-
Hey Barbe...how about ...Throw em out Thursday!! :-)
-
Perfect!

-
Jazzy - We need to get you and Yvonne together, the two of you are great w/ naming things. Welcome my dear!
-
Jazzy, anyone who can up with something like "Feel em up Friday" will fit right in at the Vegas party!
I love it!!! That's great that your PS is doing the tummy tuck and lipo free! Sheila
-
Jazzy-how lucky can you be? Your PS must be a doll. For all we have been thru, the PS should throw in a freebie!
I think all the beds at the "better" hotels are queens. I don't mind sharing a bed, I don't move around much, but boy those hot flashes have me pulling the covers on and off! Maybe after a couple of glasses of wine I will sleep thru them. Maybe I should practice tonite-lol! I will be "uneven" as I will still have the t/e high on my chest and my real banana boob hangin' low. But I can't wait!
-
Welcome Jazzy! Loving the weekly names!!! Wish I hadn't missed out on Feel'em up Friday!!! I hate when that happens!!!!
kjbell - We can have a whole contingent of uneven girls!!! I will be in that group, probably forever because I don't know if I want to give up old Saggy Aggy so I'm letting her hang around (punny hey?) for awhile until I decide what to do. I really don't like the lack of sensation on my foob side so I am not sure if I want to have a lift done on Ags! I realized just exactly how many striped tops I have for spring and summer. I never noticed before that I have a stripe fetish, but now that I'm putting on all these striped tops I am noticing how uneven I really am. I guess this means I need to shop for more spring clothes!
-
Count me in! The rads have been sucking my energy this month, but come September...!
OMG, thank God for chemo brain as I was about to make a rather crude joke on that last statement...but I was too tired to think it through!
Wow, this thread is up to nine pages. this could be one helluva a gathering! Time to add this topic to "My Favorites."
Catherine
-
YAY!! New names to add!! AWESOME!!
Jazzy my dear this party wouldnt be the same without cha!! You and your friend are TOTALLY welcomed, we have all earned this vacation!
Rachel, Catherine and Jeannine, welcome!!!!
By Monday the list on the first page will turn into a roommate list. I will do my very best to put the right groups together and put those who want only 2 people together.
See ya in Vegas Ladies!!

Tracey
-
Traceyz! I have to take my name off the list......
I am going to have to miss this first reunion, I am so sad......I am just so busy in Sept, I work every weekend, the only time I have is right at the beginning when hubby is going to whisk me away for 3 days for my big 50! I hope I will still be welcome at the next one!Lorraine ox
-
Yvonne-have you flown since your surgery? My doc gave me a card to show security because the t/e can set off the alarms, it says so right on the card. I guess there is some metal in them.
I've read that lymphedema can start while flying if you are not wearing a sleeve. I will have to get one. My daughter goes to college in Vegas and I usually see her a few times a year, but because of the t/e and lymph. risk, I am nervous to fly! I will definitely need ativan that day.
