(((((((((((((((Faith))))))))))))))) ((((((((((((((((((Coonie)))))))))))))))))) soooooo glad you guys had a wonderul time!
-
Faith so glad you and Coonie had a grand ole time!.....I am sooo jealous!...LOL
Nancy, I love Keeping up Appearances!.....I try to watch it every Saturday night.........Hyacinth is a hoot and so is her DH!........That whole family is a hoot!...LOL -
Arnie - well, of course they wear you out. That's why it takes two people to make a baby - you need the energy from the parents to try to keep up with the kids!
Barbe - can't wait to hear the due date - you must be so deleriously happy!
Faith & Coonie - I'm jealous too! I hope you two had a wonderful time.
Mum - that was so thoughtful. Yes, I will take a third cup of coffee this morning! Got any danish to go along with that?
-
I'll take tea, if you don't mind....
Been having issues w/hands like tendinitis, joints and I don't know what else...typing is hard. Last night I remembered the wrist braces I have and tried them, making me more comfortable but also more clumsy. sigh, can't win.
So what do I do? some how I agreed to lunch with dd and Sister-in-law for Friday, a day I have 2 commitments already and really don't want to cancel. I might be able to re arrange the day but will be really hectic and chaotic and I really don't want to. Dd goes back to school this weekend so it would have to wait until the spring, although just sil and I could get together another day. Do I get to be selfish and cancel?
-
DEAR EWB, in a word...YES!!!!!!
Guilt is optional, remember that. Do what feels right for you and you won't go wrong, as long as you don't go feelin g guilty about it.
Lets face it, if you try to do it all, which you know in your heart IS too much for you at the minute, then no one will get the best of you, you won't really benifit from any of it, as you will be too streched by it all, and then what is the point.
Choose what you want to do the most, cancel the rest and sleep easy.
big hug.

Here's the two of us saying goodby, yesterday morning.
Me hanging on for dear life.
Coonie, wondering how I'm gonna travel home without her??
-
Might I add that you both have beautiful skin.
Boy, I could do some work, but it's the first night all week that my head isn't craking up and I can breathe reasonably well (blasted cold), so am just taking it easy, saying no to work, all rolled up in a big blanky on the couch, really trying to catch up with lots of the threads.

Good...glad to hear you're atleast feeling better Shiny!
Love the pics...you gals are G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!!!
(((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))

More fab pics! Debbie you did say you had proof that you are both winners. Not that we need any further proof.
Shiny glad you are feeling a bit better. We have had lots of snow here too. Are your kids enjoying this weather? I am trying to get out for a walk every day and I have been trudging through snow then back home for some snow shovelling. I feel better for being out in the fresh air though.
-
Jayne, we are all really enjoying the snow, although I haven't driven the car in so long, not sure I remember how?? It is especially special for me, as a Canadian, it really brings me back to my childhood. It had got terribly grey today though and we have some rain forcast so by the weekend the snow will be on it's way, i fear. Good to get out walking in it, more fun then walking in the rain!
Arnie, hope you are better day by day, try to pace yourself with the grankiddlets if you can.

FAITH!!!!
Good morning dustbunnies!

2 stacks of books cleared out to be donated to the Senior Center. Paperbacks that I read and do not need to keep around. IF I can resist exchanging them for new ones.... LOL.
Bit by bit I am weeding through things for a possible move to another apartment in the Spring. This place has some "issues" that will not be resolved in my life time, if ever. I have been here almost 4 years and it was a good place at first. No place is perfect, but when things go downhill over and over, time to move on. That is the one good thing about living alone - make it all about me.
Hugs for all, Nancy
-
Lucy, I will pray specially for your SIL tonight.
Nancy, Mom2two would be so proud of your declutering!
I got a call from the onc office, they want to see me next Wednesday and will decide then what scan and tests to do to check out my current "lemonette" status from their point of view. Hoping quite calmly for an alternative explanation of course.
Kids are brilliant, and melt my heart many times a day, my hubby had been here all week and had driven us for the school run " in the slowly melting snow" which has really helped me. I have brough him breakfast in bed, before the kids get up everyday, just to say Thank you and start the day off with a chat; He's off to work away again next week, so not sure at all who will sort the kids whilst I am in London, but am working on a plan A-B and C. Shame Coonie is so far I am sure she would be puuuurfect!
Heard good news about Faith's opp on the thread for Saint, she spoke to her a while ago, and Faith had been up to walk across the room, to the little girl's room, and also had a ice lolly aka popcycle etc, so so far so good.
xx thinking of you.

((((((((((((((SHINY))))))))))))) Will be praying for your appointment and that they get to the bottom of this "lemonette" status!!!
((((((((((((((((FAITH)))))))))))))) Soooooooo glad to hear the updates and that you're doing so well!!!! We're sooooooooo proud of you!!!
((((((((((((Lucy)))))))))))) ((((((((((((SIL)))))))))))))))
Hugs to all dustbunnies!
-
loonie coonie oh oh oh oh you are lovely!!! So good to see you and Faith having such a great time, a neat spider web is being formed as we slowly meet up crossing paths and criss crossing the country...so neat.
Prayers and gentle hugs to anyone in need, recovering, waiting, healing, in treatment and just - well - because.
-
Thanks Arnie. (((hugs))) to you too.
