Coonie - I'm jealous!!! Lucy - Happy Birthday. I'm planning on being right where you are now in August. I coerced my DD into having a big 45th birthday party for me this past August, because I was sure it would be my last. I guess everyone will just have to suffer through a few more birthdays with me.

Barbe - I'm with EWB - please, please don't succumb to housework!  Last night my youngest sister came over to help the sister I live with "organize" or as she put it "open up the room."  Both sisters were busy basically just moving stuff around and you will be happy to know I watched from the couch!

Ohhh you girls... naughty naughty... or is that just MY naughty mind.. humm. Still fulll of cold (never even had a cold through mega chemo, boy this one is a stunner though).

Received some Upper Tribunal papers today, but didn't read it as I know it will require more work to deadlines for me, and I didn't want to start working on that until I had managed to got through loads of my "admin" and urgent "to tos", so tomorrow, after my second cup of strong coffee, I will read through it all and get photocopying to our legal "helper", all this and the LA can mess it all up at the annual review of DS's special educational needs mid next month! deaaaryyyyyy me!

I will ask the judge to consider the time scales issue, but not holding my breath.

I hope that Coonie and Faith are having a brilliant time.

Now muma and Barbe, you just "gotta" get out there and have a night out or something..or go interview some "domestic helpers, of the "yum" kind!! he he

xx Shiny thinking of you all.

I am sorely missing out on the hunky cleaner.  Mine is a middle aged, rotund dynamo.  She does amazing things though... next session (a week tomorrow) she is gonna clean the oven.  Im giddy with delight.  And two weeks after that, she is gonna make the fridge sparkle.  The rest of the place looks like real people live here instead of the previous slobs (oh wait, that was us..... lol).

I have decided to forego cleaning the fridge and just buy a new one.  With the new "rebate" to purchase engergy-star fridge's, it makes sense.  Besides, DH says ours is 23 years old.

Okay, y'all are NOT going to believe this. Today is my day off, so I'm vacuuming, right? Anyway DH turns UP the volume on the TV so he can still hear the Seinfeld epsidode he probably has memorized. Hold me down girls !!!!!! Yell

ARGHHH!!!..I HATE when my DH does that!........Instead of asking if I need help he just turns up the volume!......One time he did that and I just politely reached over and turned the darn TV OFF!.......He didn't help but he DID get out of my way and go to the garage to finish watching his show............

Barbe - thanks for the "atta girl!"

Lucy & Barbe - my grandfather and his son, my uncle could sit in a house on fire and as long as the electricity worked and they could still watch their programs they wouldn't care about the house.

Jane -  I think that's a great idea for everything - when it needs to be cleaned, replace it!

Thanks for the coffee, but no need for the fancy dinnerware - a mug works good for me. Anyone watch Keeping Up Appearances on PBS?  Hyacinth has her neighbor Elizabeth over for coffee and always offers her a "beaker" - British for a mug.

    Thanks for the coffee mum...

Been thinking about Barbe...did you find out a date when your grandbaby is due?  I might of missed it...

Also been thinking about Coonie and Faith...

Good morning dustbunnies!  I had the grandkidlets all day yesterday while their mom worked....  It's great to have them but man they wear me out!!!!  Not much cleaning gonna be going on here today...lol

Arnie, no definite date until her first official prenatal visit Jan 22nd. She was 4 weeks and 4 days when she told me....you're pregnant for 40 weeks...Undecided...so go to the doc and let them do the math!

I thought when a Brit had a beaker is was full of ale! Takes them to cover all bases...hehehee.

You already knew that our Coonie was special. Well, she's extra-super-duper-superlative-brilliantly-kind and special........ all rolled into one.

I probably could have made it thru the day without her generosity of spirit, but it was just so comforting to have her in the room, running errands, vending, hauling, planning, reminding, laughing, directing.

They had to go get additional chairs for the space we were in -- you'll have to get her to attempt to describe it, kinda airplane-hanger-esque.

It was a glorious day & I'm so glad that I pushed myself to come.

Now I have to adapt from having spent ALLLLL that adrenaline yesterday and fly back across the world to home. My hubby will be there when I get home. He's on the road half way there already.

I'm seriously behind around here, but will attempt to get caught up on my phone (which takes forever)

    xx00xx00xx00xx
