    Hi ladies,

Just a quick check in to say hi. Been busy busy with work and both girls now in school. Up at 5am for a quite cup of coffee before the day starts and then get the girls up at 5:30. Porshalin catches the bus a 6:30 and then drive Felicity to school by 7:15.Then race to work by 8. Off at 5 and rush to get Felicity from extended day by 5:30 and Porshalin from the sitter by 6. Finally home by 6:30 and DH is sitting in the recliner asking what is for dinner as he polishes the remote.Rush to get snacks for the girls and get started on homework while I juggle starting dinner and washing last nights dishes. Dinner served and kids shuffled to bathroom for baths then bedtime stories and 100 glasses of water and kisses and "I gotta pees". And finally peace and quite! Oh wait..... whats that I hear? DH is out of clean underwear!!!! Dig through the pile of laundry waiting to be washed and find the least dirty pair fold them up neatly and hand them to him through the bathroom door and he is happy. Now peace and quite again. Aaaaahhhhh.

Saturday morning and I finally have time for myself. 10 minutes max so wanted to tell you all that my Oncology appt. was Thursday and Dr. said everything was great and next appt is December.

Hope you all have a great day and hope everyone is well just don't have time to read back right now.

Wow, I am exhausted reading about your day, bkc.   Mine is very boring - no kids, no work, no DH, just me, myself and I to contend with.   I did clear off the kitchen counter and maybe the dining table is next -- key word is "maybe'...   Hugs for all,   Nancy

Faith have fun at Saint's :)

bkc~ Do you live at my house ??

I have been MIA dealing with foobie holes :(  I did have to clean once this past week because
DH was having a draft party and now DH is sick.  He actually had the nerve to come home yesterday after I dropped both kids off at different schools, went to the PS got the foobie opened, drained and restitched then pick both kids up at different schools and asked me what I did today :(  Oh and then I fixed dinner while he was soooo sick but I have 2 opened foobs .....grrrr.....

Okay I gotta go he is bitching that I am on the PC and typing......

When we moved from a house years ago, my 21 year-old son's room was so bad that we packed it by scooping it up with a snow shovel into boxes and left them for him. I have no idea if he's even opened them...that was 7 years ago! We had put a sign on his door when our house was up for sale. It said "21 year olds room". He was horrified! But not enough to clean his room....sigh. I told him I wasn't going to be responsible for that room.

I cleaned all 4 bedrooms, changed sheets, did laundry, dusted, scrubbed both bathrooms, swept and mopped, since my son was coming to visit.  So you all can take a break now, I did enough for everyone.

Lucy, my sweet friend, you are far from old, my GRANDSON is 18, now that is getting old. The stew sounds good.  I got a ham baking in the oven and my DH is going to make his famous potatoe salad. Happy anniversary.  We had one on the 3rd and forgot to open the bottle of wine. It is still on top of the fridge.  How romantic are we.

Faith, enjoy your time with Saint, give her a hug and a hi from me.

Everyone have a good afternoon.  Enjoy those dust bunnies.

Linda so pleased that your DH is back to normal again with his tongue. That sounded so painful.

Arnie your Annie Lennox hair sounds great to me!

Shiny I hope you are feeling OK now and all is going well with your DS.

Faith have a fantastic time with Saint and her family, I can just imagine you all laughing a lot together.

Bkc what a day you had! Great news about your oncology appt.

Jaimieh I've been wondering how you are doing. Sorry to hear about the foobie holes, I hope they heal up soon.

    Lucy happy anniversary for tomorrow!

Spar it certainly sounds like you have done more than enough housework for all of us. It's time to take a break and open that bottle of wine.

We have had some lovely weather here over the last few days and I have been able to do some work in the garden. It was good because I got to enjoy the sunshine and the fact that the garden is looking better.

Hugs to everyone. Have a wonderful weekend.

I just put together our new vacuum cleaner. It is a no frills battery powered one. I don't plan on using it much.

We've had over 7 inches of rain in the last two days. I have given up all housework to start building a boat.

Just wanted to send some love out to the bunnies!

dragonfly~ on the days that I do have to do it I just remind myself that I will feel so accomplished when I am done.  I normally get thru something if I think that BUT then watching my kids and husband destroy it makes me wonder if it was worth doing.

Happy, happy, joy, joyous anniversary!! Adding my cheers!!

Our visit with saint & her family was glorious -- way too short, but great food, laughter, stories, and tons of hugs!!

Six more "road" hours till the grand kids!!!!!

Have a great day -- whatever you do.

+++++and welcome to dragonfly. (We don't actually do much cleaning around here. Seems like we actually scare away gals who actually do cleaning.... But we're filled with encouragement in general and are happy to welcome you to our bunny den.)

Lefty - I think you have been possessed by a cleaning gremlin.  Slow down girl.  Take a hint from the dog:

Believe me, Kathleen, I look more like than that dog than you can imagine....   noticed some stray chin hairs in the mirror and droopy eyes, etc.

I really do think I have been possessed... today I was up at 6:30 and wrote a couple of letters and got my desk cleared off (again), all bills paid and receipts filed away.    Maybe I am trying to make up for the past year of chemo, herceptin, surgery and having very little energy.

Please do not take away my membership.  I promise there are some fuzzies under my bed and in the bottom of the closet.   Hail to all dust bunnies.  Happy Monday morning.   HUGS,  Nancy

Lefty - who would drum you out of the club?  I just don't want you taxing yourself although I completely understand.  I think it has something to do with taking control again just don't overdo it!  Take a snooze like this little one (who was also cleaning up her desk:

Good morning dustybuns.  I just got back from walking doggus and am actually considering doing a little housework.  I wonder if I should just sit here and wait until the feeling goes away?

LOL, Sharon -- I think my gremlin is looking for another "victim"...   I promised some photos to my sis and bro and am off to Walmart to print them out.   Mom, who is 96 yrs old and a 47 year BC survivor,  the 3 of us kids - taken a month ago when sis was in from Colorado and I finally visited Mom after my nekked head and BC tx was over with.   We did not tell her about my BC.
