JGRIM - loved the line about the zoo eating your face off ... when I was entertaining the thought of doing myself in (not seriously), I would think about no one finding me for days and my zoo snacking on me!
CARRYTHECROSS: Of course dusting under the bed is useless - you don't have to do that - just get the dust bunnies that come out from under the bed!
LUCY: You see a sign in that tiny picture?
ARNIE: So glad you found a way to post! Where there's a will, there's a way.

Hey, hey bunnies!! We took off for a couple of days of camping. Had a great time. Very relaxing!
I'm not even going to try and catch up except to say YAY JANE!!!!!! I was thinking of you and hoping all was well. So glad to see your update!! Happy belated birthday to you also!!
I'm still handling the Taxol very well. I have some minor bone pain, but Tylenol takes care of it. My hair was beginning to grow back, but it has slowed down again. Driving me nuts! I want my hair back!!!! I have a cough and a bloody nose with the Taxol. And my taste buds are gone. Other than that, things are pretty good. Tomorrow is labs and Tuesday is #6 so halfway done.
Still praying for Linda's DH. Off to Facebook to see Barbe's dress! Coonie- hope you had a wonderful vacation! Hi Arnie! Hi Faith! I'm doing great! Thanks for asking!!
Hugs everybody!! -
Oh and somewhere I saw Kathi complaining about the heat and saying she shouldn't be complaining because of how hot us Southern girls are...but hey- hot humid heat is miserable no matter where you are! If it makes you feel any better, this past week we had our 50th day of 100+ temps. What a miserable, miserable summer this has been!! And I've spent it in a wig!!

Yeah, you can't be a hermit with eight cats and not think that someday they might eat your face. I kind of want to manufacture a line of pet-vitamin face creams, I would sell them to the elderly. It would open with "Nobody wants to think about what will happen when they die..." like the guaranteed health insurance commercials, but then it would move on to "... make sure your pets are getting proper nutrition even if you're not there to give it to them... well, except that you will be."
-
JGRIM - I love your sense of humor! I want to invest in that product. We'll make a fortune.
-
Jane, Happy Birthday, sweetie!...Hope your party was blast!....
Hey all my housework buddies, please say a special paryer for my niece.......She is 40 yrs old and has a lump the size of a quarter in her left breast......She is special needs (has the mind of a high functioning child) and lives near her mother........I am so worried about her!...Poor baby thought only the sisters in the family could get bc and not her......(Sounds kinda like my thinking at first).......Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers...Her mom, my sister, is making her an appointment this week for a mammo....I know she has had this thing for quite some time because of its size but still I am very scared for her..........Thanks all!....... -
LUCY - So sorry to hear about your niece. You bet I will say a prayer for her. I will pray it is a b9 cyst. Give her my love and let her know others are thinking of her and praying for her.
-
Thanks, Kathleen ...I will........
-
LOL Jgrim, too funny!
Lucy, praying for your neice.
XOXO
-
Aw, Lucy, so sorry to hear about your niece. Will keep her in my prayers.
-
((((((((((((((((((((((((((Lucy & your niece)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
anybody else in need of a hug or a prayer...............
-
>Lucy, I will pray for your niece.
I had a better day today; I didn't sleep as long in the afternoon. Tomorrow and Tuesday I'll be at work; so, I probably won't post. But that doesn't mean I'm not keeping you all in my heart!. -
Today is my 25th Anniversary, so no housework for anyone for a week!
-
Yahooooooo Deb!! Happy Anniversary!! How are you feeling, by the way? I hope things are looking up for you. And yep, you're right NO HOUSEWORK for a week.......um, but well......we might oughta make that 2 weeks 'cause my DH and I just celebrated our 29th anniversary YESTERDAY!!!
-
-
Congrats to the anniversary ladies! Woo hoo!
Mary, you can see my dress on the Housework thread near the last page or two....
Lucy, your niece is certainly in my prayers. I do wonder about the size though, years ago when I had a large lump the doctor said if it was cancer I'd already be dead! Large lumps are usually a good sign. I'm betting on a cyst.
-
Happy Anniversary Deb!!
-
Happy Anniversary gals and DHs.
-
-
Barbe this is the housework thread and I can't see your dress anywhere.
Coonie and Deb
-
LOL......hehe. Hey Deb! It looks like WE'RE married, huh?
Thanks ladies for the nice wishes!!
-
Happy Anniversary to Deb & Mr. Deb.
Happy Anniversary to Coonie & Mr. Coonie.
I certainly don't want to be guilty of starting any more rumors on here.
xx00xx00xx00xx
We've just ordered me a new laptop. After working on this thing the entire weekend and getting new drive gadgets and do dahs, we've decided it's just easier to take it out and have a semi truck roll over the top of it, and put it and US out of our misery.
Making DH work on it for the weekend was the sure ticket to getting a new one: LOL!! (Why didn't I think of that at the BEGINNING of the summer????) LOLOLOLOL
-
Thanks Faithie!! Yeah, after that little episode with KAK and MAK's DH, we surely don't need any more rumors flying.......especially in the housekeeping thread:) hehe
yaaaaay!!! A new computer!! What are you getting? We looked at all brands the other day at a Best Buy in California. I've got an itty bitty Acer just for my "fun" stuff, but I wouldn't trust it to do anything important for me
-
Actually, I'm married to my art......LOL Not really. Just always want to say something that pretentious about it.
-
Hey KAK.......at least your art will do what YOU tell it to do
-
My point exactly!!! Also doesn't hog the covers and leave dirty clothes on the floor.
-
KAK< KAK< KAKKKI KAK!!!!!
I have just crossed the FB threshold of 10 people to verify me as author...... thanks for helping.
Now I only have 3,478 more questions to ask you. LOL.
Coonie..... it sounds like the Toshiba brand "won" on price and what it comes with/programs that is. A whole new era!!!! I think it's too soon to celebrate -- but I'm ecstatic!!
-
I just put an update on both of saint's threads that I started for her.......
Thanks to all who keep her in your heart & prayers.
She is indeed hanging in.
She's just flat-out amazing.
Keep up the good thoughts, prayers, vibes and happy encouragement.
Thanks bunnies.
