Great news about your friends tractor Deb! Good to know people actually win those things sometimes.
-
Arnie, glad the page is back to normal. It's Coonie who is the computer whiz.
-
Arnie, you get some good rest so your body can heal quicker. Here's a little something for you.
The world's most comfortable bed
-
Or, if you like to sleep on your side lol.
-
Good morning bunnies!! Boy, those beds sure look inviting.
Didn't go to church this morning. Tummy is acting all weird again. Think I'll trade it in on a newer model........LOL.......or at least one that hasn't been through chemo.
Deb....I'm SO happy your friend won the tractor. Bless her heart!!! She deserves something good out of everything she's been through. She better watch out, she'll have every man in the neighborhood coming over now.......wanting to check out her new "tractor".........haha
Hope you all have a blessed Sunday!
-
Great news Deb! That's the second prize this board has had in a couple of days. Now KAK, Kathi needs votes on her blog to be the most seductive blog. Vote!
I see the hill now Julz and I don't have to look too close to see the snow! hehehehehhe
-
Coonie, I am tickled to death for her, she really has had a rough way to go..and she lives like almost 2 hours from me, so can't help her much other then to help her out in out like this....she's a fantastic person though, she deserved to win!
-
Hey Barbe........I tried voting on KAK's blog, but it wouldn't let me. Is there a trick to it?
-
Hey all, just had to have one of those "mom" talks with my girls and both are grounded from tv and computer for a week till they learn to be more sisterly and from the sounds coming from the room that may take awhile.
I may not be on either cause this time I'm sticking to my guns and not letting them sweet talk their way out of it.
Linda about that trade with the boys........
-
Good going Mom, now you have all that time to spend on the computer figuring out facebook! LOL
-
To think how much I wanted to have a sister and didn't.
-
You too huh? I remember whem my younger brother was born, I went behind the couch and cried cuz they promised me a sister! LOL...I've got the younger one and two older brothers! UGH
-
I have one older brother and two younger brothers. Love them but find sensitivity isn't over abundant in any of them.
-
Have to go break up the "who caused us to get grounded" fight. When does school start.
-
One of my older brothers and my younger one are kind of sensitive...the younger one doens't quite know how to express that though..he tends to hold it all in..but when I was diagnosed you could tell by the look on his face he was devastated.........
-
Coonie, you went to the link on her blog where there are all the purple boxes of other blogs competing? Then if you click on her square it registers as a vote. You can only do it once every 24 hours....
Good luck on holding that grounding mom! I never did that to my kids cause I would always forget. What I DID do, was got rid of TV for for 13 years.
-
wish I could get rid of TV. was never big in the house when growing upbut dh grew up w/ one in every room(no joke) and they were on most of the time regardlesas of viewing audience....ack
Good luck with children...each day is one day closer to school.
So glad to hear that your friend won the tractor, maybe a sign that things will start improving for her!!
Hugs to everyone, wishes for a sweet lazy sunny Sunday afternoon ( on whatever deck you choose) Julz I expect those y'ungins are very comfy with each other
How is everything in your house?
so sleepy today, off for a nap so I will be awake for dinner w/ dh & friends.
-
EWB this is for your mom.
-
The girls have made up, apologies all around through tears, peace is restored.
-
HI everyone I am still trying to catch up still reading page 205. Did not know we were supposed to give our year of birth also. Mine is 1967. I am in Calgary visiting my brother so you girls talk so much it takes me quite a while to read everything. So hugs to everyone who need it.
Lori
-
So mom, tell me, if everyone has made up, do you rescind the grounding? It could be a ploy you know....
-
Whoooooowhooooooo!!!!
Back @ beach -- thumbin'
Just waiting for call that the saint family is safely in our midst....
I actually cleaned this morning: on the Sun of a national holiday, no less.
My parents came up here 2 years ago & I distinctly remember cleaning the baseboards then -- I just couldn't believe when I put on my glasses .... That they were in need of some TLC.
Mental note to self: baseboards every other year or else don't put on your glasses.
Hugs to all.
We've decided to "give" them our pick em up truck & live on the motorcycle while they're here. Don't you love adventures????
Full report on Friday!!
xx00xx00xx -
Awwhhh Faithie........hope we get a report before Friday. You mean you're gonna keep up in suspense for a whole week??!! You can't do that......you just CAN'T!!
Mom....hope things have calmed down at your house. Sisters!!! Hope everybody has kissed and made up.
-
Can any of ya tell me why I keep going to rads? The underside of my boob is raw skin....it's caused me to swell up twice the size and the pain inside hurts like you know what.......had to take a vicodeine today it hurt so bad......do they have to kill us to cure us????????? GRRRRRRRRRRRR
-
Awwwhhh Deb.....I'm so sorry you're in pain. How many more do you have? I didn't do rads, so I can't relate, but it sounds terribly painful. ((((((((((((gentle hugs to you))))))))))))
-
AAAHHH! I just lost my post! and I wrote a lot, too!
Let me try again...
This weekend I worked both Saturday and Sunday. It was very busy and challenging. I was going, going, going! We had several patients who had emergencies that needed quick action.
Deb and Mom, I had 4 brothers and no sisters. My mom used to say I "was a petunia in an onion patch" and my brothers would say "yeah, that means you're a weed!"
Barbe, we did not have a tv in our house for years. The kids would always fight us about turning it off to do other things. We told them if they kept it up we would get rid of the tv. Well, they kept it up! One day when they were all out of the house my husband and I took the tvs to the Salvation Army. OMG, were they MAD! We have a tv now, but do not have cable.
-
Okay who is the skier flat on her but? Come on fess up. We have houseguests this week and rented a hottub for the deck.I made a pitcher of ceasers so you can guess what i have been up to all day.Certainly not housework.Ha Ha
-
Coonie, think I have either 11 or 12 regular ones and 5 boosts...My Gawd, at this rate I will never make it through all of them........my breast is purple now.......
-
Cheryl - Are you still doing chemo? I admire you for working through treatment. There was a lady on here awhile back who was a nurse (she pops in every once in awhile) and she continued working. I don't see how ya'll do it.
Speaking of brothers and sisters........I'm the oldest of 3......I have one brother 16 months younger, and one sister 10 years younger:) Yep......she was a big SURPRISE! But I loved having a baby sister to help take care of.
-
Awwwhhh Deb.........if I could finish them out for you.........I would!! I'm so sorry!!
