Arnie- lovely thoughts. Thank you for sharing. I love all you ladies, its amazing how much I look forwards to checking in, rejoice and celebrate the successes, cry and worry about the bad stuff and pray each day for a good day for all, pain free, sorrow free. I don't think I would be doing so well without all of you. Thank you all so much for the gifts.
-
Arnie,
That is the most beautiful, perfect poem for us! I LOVE it!! I'm going to save it. Don't worry, I'll make sure everyne knows the poet is Arnie!! Thanks for sharing that! I bet Coonie would love it too!
-
Want everyone here to know if we ever are doing something like this for someone in the future and you find yourself not being able to put in like Lursa mentioned, just pm me and I will be glad to include you. I just didn't want to make assumptions for anyone. You are all a great bunch, and I'm so grateful to be a part of this thread.
-
Mom, I agree. That's very sweet of you. I completely understand that not everyone can chip in from time to time. I felt horrible when my DH was laid off and couple participate in things. Now, lets hope we don't have to send flowers or anything to anyone ever again. We are all going to be VERY happy and healthy! It's a nice little world I live in!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
-
Mom, you rock!

Just so you know we were able to send her roses, some get well balloons and a racoon. She already knows she has our thoughts and prayers.
-
I have gotten a couple of other people wanting to donate for Coonie's gift so if there is anyone else send me a pm and if there is enough to do it we will try and send another little gift for the second group. I'm sure Coonie won't mind if we let her know how many of us care about her on here.
-
Mom, you are awesome! Thanks for doing that! No big deal at all that some cannot participate. We are a tight knit group and those of us who can will pick up for those who can't right now. It's all good. I paypal'd you the money. Hope you got it!
Hugs!

Hi ladies got home late and just finally got the kids fed and down for the night. Sorry I missed the flowers for Coonie.
Wanted to let you ladies know I didn't sleep last night thinking about this problem with my employee. So I sat down and made a form (check list if you will) of the items that need to be completed on a daily basis. I check the items in red ink that need to be done and as the items are completed the employee checks that those items have been completed. Then the employee signs and dates the form that those items have been completed and the hours required. There is space to explain any items not completed and why not.
This morning I went in early to have a talk with my boss. Didn't specify any particular employee just said I thought this would make them more accountable and hold me accountable as well. She thought this was a great idea and thinks it will help us manage time better. Employees will know exactly what is expected of them and I will spend less time chasing after them and they will have to explain why things don't get done. So no more of the vague excuses. And we will have a paper trail. I will still have to follow up and make sure that these things are actually getting done but hopefully less stress for me.
We presented my idea to the employees in a meeting this afternoon and 99% of them thought it was a good idea. You got it. My problem employee made every excuse about why this will not work. My boss said this is the new policy and everyone will follow it starting Monday!!!!
We got some good feed back from some employees and want to revise the form a little to make it more user friendly. And afterward my boss asked me to please report to her on the hostile employee because she thinks she may need to talk to her about her attitude because she feels like she is not wanting to be a team player.
So thanks for all the input ladies.Kind of feel bad about this girl but business is business. Maybe this will help and she can get with the program.

Just got the creepest PM from someone calling themselves babydoll2 and saying they were a 12 year old girl. Checked this out and this person has only had 7 posts. Maybe I"m wrong but something doesn't ring true or right with this. I did not reply but it was just really weird.
-
I saw a few of her posts too and got the same vibes. Even with her "auntie" chiming in about her authenticity. I'd steer of that one. Bet it gets pulled before long.
