I should always let Ed do that stuff, he uses E-Bay for cars everyday. Oh well lesson learned.

    Mom,

I love Ebay too and buy and sell there regularly.  It's fun!!

Spaghetti in a crock pot.....hummmm I think I missed the original post.  I'm guessing it's from another Linda.  Should I just use Makraz?  LindaK??  Anyway, I 'd love to hear about spaghetti in a crock pot.  I make my sauce in all the time.  Yummy!!

I have one of those shedding combs too... it's a Furminator knock off that I got at WalMart for 12 bux. I have a hairy cat too...and I think I get a pile of fur the size of cathi's once a week. AMAZING!! I wish MY hair would grow that fast!!

I made spaghetti in my crock pot yesterday. Not the noodles...just the sauce. I fried up the meat and put it in the pot with 2 large cans of tomatoes, a diced onion, a LOT of garlic, and some italian herbs. Later on in the day I added some diced celery...it makes it yummy and crunchy!! I cook it on low heat all day and it is perfectly done every tiime and no splattery mess like when I cook it in a pan on the stove. Delish!!

I think we all deserve a facial - this is me and SIL on New Years Eve, they were visiting from PA.

Dejaboo....YES.. the walmart knock off works great! It's dark pink and specifically for cats..It's called the FURBUSTER. I had tried the Furminator at the Vet's office....then picked up my knockoff.. and I saw no difference in effectiveness.

One load has just gone in to the dryer.   I went to the post office and filled the car with gas today.   The forsythia, pear and apple trees are in bloom and even with the rain, it was pretty and cheerful.  Daffodils are beginning to bloom also.   Happy First Day of Spring tomorrow.

    Lefty,

You give me hope!! I can't wait for the tree's and flowers to bloom.  My bulbs are just starting to break through the surface.  We still have along way to go.

    Good night my friends!

Cute chick. (Never thought I'd say that on a chick site.)

Bulbs? The ground is still frozen and there's still areas of snow....sigh.

Cathi, y'all look like you have wet paper towels on your faces!

A massage counts for ONE thing. You guys just aren't getting it. Dryers and postoffice and gas station...sigh. There goes the bar, up again!

Good morning fellow housekeeping friends:)  Had to leave yesterday to drive an hour north to take care of sick DD at college. She's much better this morning, so I'm home and fixing to take a long nap. Not sure how much housework will be done today.....maybe later though:)  Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!! (((((((((hugs)))))))

Just got back from my daughters "fun run" event at school. We were freeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzing!  The kids had 35 laps to run and most of them didn't want to wear coats. Sometimes I think common sense goes out the window at anything that resembles a group event.

Pam sending warm thoughts your way today.

Coonie glad your daughter is feeling better, trips always wear me out so enjoy that nap.

Denise could you send about 20 of those degrees this way, every little bit helps.

I have to make home visits today so the housework will have to come later for me. Stay warm everyone.

I need to borrow some enthusiasm today. I have none of my own. If anyone could spare enough to let me clean the downstairs today, I'd sure appreciate it. I feel like curling up on the sofa under a big warm blanket and watching a movie. I NEED to vacuum the carpets, sweep the entry, fold my laundry, mop the tile, and wash a few dishes. So, if anyone has some enthusiasm to spare....send it my way.

    Thanks a bunch, friends....

Thanks for the daffodils.   Sorry, but my enthusiasm went AWOL.   I did shred a dozen or more papers that were on the desk and put the shreds in a plastic bag to (later) take to the dumpster...

Tonight is bingo,so I need to get my bingo bag together.   It includes hard candy, bottle of water, container of pretzel sticks, and of course dabbers and scotch tape and address labels, and packet or 2 of kleenex for the herceptin drippy nose.

Who is gonna take MY down quilt to the big washer laundromat?   I should do that one of these days...   HUGS for everyone,   Nancy

    Stacy,

I hope you are curled up on the couch.  Your enthusiasm will be back soon.  Take a day if you need it.

Pam - I sold an item today too.  It keeps me busy and fluid online.  I'm sick of the cold too, but it's probably perfect for a funeral.  I hope it went as well as they can go.

Nancy - Have fun at Bingo!!  Win big!!

I just baked cookies for the kids, mashed potatoes, made squash and breaded pork chops and cut up some fish.  I have to get dinner all ready to put in the oven later.  It's easier that way for me.  The boys will want to play hard after school.

I washed my shower curtain today too!!  WooHoo!!

I have enough room on the couch for all of us....and a big warm comforter to cover us all up with. Let's watch a funny movie together and play hookey from cleaning. I'll brew up some tea and coffee and build a fire in the wood stove. Isn't that much better?

I even made cookies for dessert.  I would also like to meet you and Stacy on her couch.  That's where I'm heading after dinner.  I have 4 boys at my house now, gotta get rid of them soon.  Have a nice dinner with the family and then watch the Celtics game.  Ahh, the couch!!  See you there!
