Aha! Does that mean I could use a Magic Eraser on my blinds? Would it do a lot of them? I have the faux wood wide white ones and they need cleaning so bad. I am worried that if I spray them with cleaner the dirt will stain the cords.

I will brag and tell that in the past month I have cleaned off 4 book cases and have them ready for the Salvation Army to pick up.  That and 17 pairs of slacks and jeans that are too big and why I have kept them, who knows.  I have been in this apartment almost 3 years and moved after 36 years in the same house.   It took me a year to weed thru the house stuff before I moved and obviously I packed a bit of stuff I do not want or need.   In the house there were 14 bookcases just in the family room, then the bedrooms, living room and boxes in  the attic.   I got it down to only 8 bookcases before I moved, so now there are only 4.

Time for my blankie and pillow.   Nite nite everyone.   HUGS,  Nancy

PS m2, how do you put those graphics on each of your messages?  I tried photos, but they don't work for me.  It could be chemo brain???  LOL...

I just learned how myself so glad to share with you.

    1) I google what ever I'm wanting literally like sparkling welcome pics.

    2) Usually several pictures show up at the top and you choose one and click on that or on the bar that says see larger image.

    3) Highlight the picture. (You do this by grabbing your clicker, go to the far left side of the picture you want, click on it with the left side of your mouse, keep it held down while you move the mouse cursor across the area you want to copy. If you are copying it correctly the picture will turn blue. **Just remember if it isn't highlighted blue it won't copy.)

    4) On the top far left corner of your computer screen there should be a line of words that say File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools Help. If you click on the Edit one there is a box that comes up with all kinds of options. Click on the word that says copy and it copies whatever picture or text you have highlighted.

    5) Now you open a new window (To do this go to the far bottom left of your computer screen and click on the emblem in the circle which should pop up another set of options. One of those should say internet and you click there, which will pop up a new screen with which you can type in this site.)

    6) When you come to our post or where ever you're wanting. Just go to the post section and start your post. Whereever you want the picture inserted just put your cursor, go up to the edit again in the upper left hand corner, click on it, then click on the Paste option. That pops it right in for you.

Once you do it a couple of times it becomes really easy. There may be an easier trick but this is how I learned so passing it on to you till someone can show us both differently.

Good Sunday afternoon ladies. I've been away from the computer for a few hours so I need to read and catch up. and noooooooooo----I haven't been doing houseworkUndecided After taking DD to doctor yesterday, got home and went to work on getting a bush out of the ground. The bush wasn't that big at all, but jeeeeeezeeeeee......the ROOTS on that baby are 5 ft under the ground!!! I'm STILL working on getting it up. Would love to plant some beautiful flowers there WHENVER the thing comes up....

Oh can I join in?  I definitely need this!!

At the beginning of the month I had Mammosite radiation and have been fighting an infection since.  I am finally feeling up to getting some things done.  There hasn't been a whole lot of cleaning done around here during the 3 weeks.  Laundry and bare necessities!

I gotta get busy getting things in order.

Hi Ann!! Welcome aboard!!! Sometimes we really don't get too much housecleaning done here, but we do cheer each other on.....talk about our dogs, cats, kids, husbands, cooking, etc.....just everyday "stuff" that women talk about. It's a good place to come because you can get your mind off the "C" for awhile :)

Make yourself at home. I'm sure the others will be along soon....I'm Coonie by the way, and so glad you've joined usSmile

Welcome Ann.  Just promise us you won't get too much done.  We don't want to look bad.  Love the screen name.  It was part of the conversation the other day.

I hope you are felling better.  I had reg rads from Sept through Oct 08.  I have not had as much as a sniffle since then.  I joke that there is so much radiation running around my body that I just can't get sick!  It kills every germ that I come in contact with.  Hope you feel better soon.

Welcome Ann....LOL.. diet coke..teeheehee. I'm a diet pepsi fan myself, especially since it has prevented a most unwanted pregnancy!!

I did not get anything done today at all....didnt even fold a single piece of laundry. I bummed around the house for a while. I went shopping at the Bass Pro Shops and bought myself a new ultra light fishy pole. Can I let you in on a little secret?? Don't tell my ex hubby....I used up all $18.50 in Bass Pro Rewards Points that he earned last year. He has no idea...I got a...well he got a letter in the mail from Bass Pro to tell him what his rewards points were....and I took that shopping with me and the lady at the register credited ME with the points.  That's about the ONLY thing I ever got from him. It made shopping for my new fishy pole that much more enjoyable. YIPPEE!! Now I can only hope for good weather so I can go catch a little fishy with my new pole.

I set the trash outside my door in the new cans they distributed on Friday.  I played bridge, then brought the can back inside my apartment.   Does that count as 2 things?    Very little else got done today.   BTW,  I belong to the almost never make my bed group since I live alone.  When I change sheets, of course it gets made and all even and "un lumpy"....     Now, when is the last time I changed the sheets????

Mom, you're killing me! I'm blaming you for my current sweet tooth.

Nancy I don't make the bed unless the sheets just got changed or company is coming. Now, I am going to blow your mind! Are you ready for this??????

You SHOULD NOT make your bed in the morning! It gives pillow mites and dust mites a dark, warm (possibly wet?) environment to breed in! The light and air drives them away. Remember in the very, very olden days (geeze I hate having to add a very) when the maids would "air" the beds. That's what they were doing! We got in a stupid habit, probably in the 50's of making beds. Doi! Did you know an average mattress weighs 10 pounds more after 25 years just from dust and pillow mites and skin cells? Yuck. Also, your pillow has 200,000-400,000 pillow mites in it. Now you know why I hate hotels. You spend all night sucking in someone elses' mites. Yuck again.

Get a dog to clean off your plates. A dog's mouth is actually more sterile than a human's. That's why I never freaked out when the dog cleaned off the high chair. hehehehehehehe

Why do bath towels? Aren't you clean when you use them? LOL
