I got the bed linens changed...finally. Another load of laundry done too. I promise I didn't lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk.
Cabana boys aren't allowed now... oh that's so not fair...but I understand. I really do.
-
Cabana men?
-
Hey ladies!!! It looks like ya'll have been pretty busy today......but I'm not sure if it's all about housecleaning
somebody's running for president, somebody's looking for a pool boy, somebody's looking for a boy maid
Whew.......we better get back to the G -rated version here. hehee
If any of you really want to have some fun, you should come over to the "life is a beach" thread. We've got some great ladies there and there's always room for more. The beaches are HUGE, the water is always perfect, and there always seems to be food and drinks around...
I haven't gotten anything done today...well, I did go in to the office and worked until about 4:00, but my house hasn't gotten any attention. I'm gonna try to do that within the next hour or so.
Hope you all are having a great afternoon.
Welcome to the newbies....I'll have to look back and get your names ... Stacey?? I think.....WELCOME....
-
Nana found this little guy for you, when you get that cut he's willing to donate

Hi Ladies,
Went to the Dr. today for a followup after surgery to remove a lump I found on my chest wall.
In dances my Surgeon with the path report and a huge smile on his face.B9B9B9B9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just started bawling.
Had to keep my 4 year old from daycare today because she has to go 24 hours without a temp so took her to the Dr. with me and then on to the office. Boy was that a long day.
Just finished making Dinner, Enchiladas, Spanish rice.and salad. To tired to even eat.
But boy has it been a GREAT DAY!!!!!
-
BKC
YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!
Good for you, I would have been bawling too!!
Get some rest!
-

Too funny coonie!
-
Hey Coonie,
That's kind of the happy dance my Surgeon was doing today. just like the guy in the blue bath robe. Only difference is my Doc is a whole lot younger and a whole lot better looking.
-
bkc....Joining in the happy dance too! woot woot!!
-
Happy Happy (((( BKC))))), way to go !!!

Just wanted to remind some of you who have very recently had surgery to not try to do housework too soon after your surgery. Like Cathi mentioned before, 6 weeks is usually what they tell you before you do much of anything and its for good reason. Your body needs the time to heal back inside and out. Most of us on here have been post surgery for several months.
Still come join us for the chat and fun but hold off on the cleaning till your doctor clears you for it. Don't think we won't tell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Not lifting includes NOT carrying laundry baskets. Another good reason for some retail therapy for new undies or a couple of outfits... Happy Hump Day. Nancy
-
Good morning ladies!!! Not much housework for me today----------AGAIN! I'm off to work, but hopefully, won't have to work all day. Hope you all have a good day. Maybe we should make it a rule to not lift anything heavier than a.........let's see........maybe a fork!!
I think that would work!!! Enjoy the day!!!! ((((((((((((((hugs to you all))))))))))))
-
Lol Coonie. I am going to lift a deck of cards or 2 today and go play bridge. But I promise to only lift ONE deck at a time.
-
What are we allowed on the fork? Oh, wait, that for the belly fat thread.
-
Wonderful News bkc! What a Fun Happy Dance Coonie.
Yep- You really want to be careful not to over do it...Especially the lifting.
That should give me incentive to really get my house in order (but its not)
When I get my Symmastia fix I wont be allowed to do pretty much anything with my arms for 3 months. No lifting anything over 3 to 4 # for 3 months. Grrrr
I dont have a cleaning list today- I guess I will vacuum- thats pretty easy.
I do have some things cut out to sew. And will get to them.

Hi all, happy Hump day, I am off to the DR with my daughter this AM, then to the vet this afternoon, don't think I see housework in my day today, and truthfully don't think I want to or even can do any, this darn rib, back and leg pain is really bad today , UGh. Oh well .
I say the fork can have key lime pie on it. Yummy,

boy you guys have been busy,
Cathi great pic of Margo.
Have been keeping up with the laundry and dishes. Still working on DS taxes. But what I really want to do is clean my closet. Those were some great suggestions about donating the clothes.
So that will be my goal for the day.
Took my dog Harvey to the vet monday and he removed a huge lump had to go all the way to the chest wall. Will get the path back Friday. I can so sympathize with him.
Well check back later
Happy cleaning
-
We do tend to keep busy....not always with housework but busy. Sending empathy pic for Harvey and hoping for B9 report to come his way.
-
I got the bed made this morning. Ran out to the garden center and picked up a couple of rose bushes and some fruit plants (strawberry, blueberry and raspberry). Have no idea if they will grow but just thinking about giving gardening a go this Spring sounds good to me.
-
mom2two...gardening sounds like a great idea. I don't think i can grow blue and raspberries...but strawberries for sure. I wonder if we're past the risk for freeze here in nebraska??
Well.. I got all the laundry done yesterday. I even got the kitchen cleaned! My bedroom is much more presentable....to whom I don't know yet....but it's presentable. Today will just be Dr appointments and relaxation for the most part. I already got dinner going...home made spaghetti sauce is simmering in the crock pot filling my house with the joyful aroma of garlic and herbs. mm yummy.

Got some laundry and vacuuming done. I feel like I vacuum everyday, oh yeah, that's because I do.
Stacy, you are doing to much work, you need to relax more!
Mom, I 'm going to try and plant blueberries too this year. I have strawberries that the birds love and my apple trees......the deer love those! I'm hoping the blueberries will be for me. I think they take a couple of years to mature. Let us know how yours do.
-
Good afternoon ladies! Haven't been home long, but I think I'm gonna get the windex bottle out and just start SPRAYING. Windex is good on just about everything
My beds ARE made though and just a few little things were done before I left home this morning. But.....it's gorgeous outside today and I may just have to find something outside
Hope you all are having a blessed day!!
-
Coonie the windex thing reminds me of that movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding where the father thinks windex is the cure for everything. Too funny.
Stacy I was thinking about making spaghetti tonight too but didn't get back from my errands to start it now. Maybe that will be good for tomorrow. Yum! (Just wish I didn't get such terrible heartburn from it. Someone fill me in if you know a remedy)
Linda I'm going to try googling to see what the best way is to plant them. I love blueberries, but I just read you should plant two or three varieties together to assure pollination. There was also stuff about ph. Thinking they may be a little more trouble growing than I thought.
