Thinking Out Loud.....

Deb - you show off - just kidding - I'm so impressed with all the hiking you've done. I pulled a hamstring just doing all my kid's laundry the other day - walking up and down from the basement to the 2nd floor all day.
Ok - now that I've read Ray's work schedule, I need a nap.
I think my mother might be doing slightly better - but she still doesn't remember things. She seems more upset - so I think that might mean she's more aware - which we are hoping is improvement... Conference with doctors and therapists next Tuesday - looking forward to hearing what they have to say. I should get writing down all the things I want to know so I can grill them for answers.

Deb, I am thinking that I really won't be able to tell what's drugs and what's natural aging....love your photo - my friend from college climbed Monadnock with her family every year. I hiked to Sentinel Dome last year (cancerversary) and looked up and said 'not doing that' then I realized I have nothing to lose...so up I went. Can't get the photo up right now though. Even though I don't feel too badly on Femara, I look forward to getting off in 4 years.
Keep on climbing!Chris, it is very likely that your mom is remembering and becoming more in touch with what's going on. I hope she will recover from her illness and go home with peace and health. I hope you are feeling better.
Have a good night.Joan

I hope you have a nice long list of questions, Chris, good idea!
DIP, Ray? Now you need to explain that one to me.
I am so sick of the cold!!! 4 again this morning, which is better than the 1.4 it's been the last few mornings. Bring on the spring!! I'm still waiting for the jet!
-
It rained all day here yesterday. Then last night, it was foggy. There is a severe foh warning until 9 am today. I have a funeral to attend this afternoon, graveside. I hope it won't be rainy then.

Got to meet Matt's GF's parents (and children) last night. Makes me wonder if there will be another wedding in the near future. His GF is a foster mother of a 4 mo old. There will be a hearing in the next month or so to see if the parents will reliquish all parental rights and if they do, she will apply to adopt. He's such a cute little guy, I got my baby fix holding him.

Hi Ray....
Baking 3 different potatoes...no I'm not gonna eat them all...it's for tonight and tomorrow
Baked chicken cutlets with freshly squeezed lemon ( I never baked them before)
Broccoli
Now I don't understand these loosing 5 pounds a week or loosing weight without dieting........
Are they kidding me? Maybe if you have a personal chef and a trainer you really eat like a bird you start loosing some........
But they make it sound so easy......I feel really stupid when I see this commercials.....
End of the rant
-
And if God wanted me to be a bird he would created me one.........
-
Birds eat twice their weight every day! Sounds like a plan to me!
-
Than I want to be a human bird......
Dinner smells healthy and good........
-
I'll start with OCF!
-
I'm still on saltines and broth. Although, I am starting to consider the possibility of real food.
-
Good news!!
-
The ground is white but it's not really snowing

Ray...This is for you.........
Sonic Dog Repellants Work
Yes, the sonic dog repellants do work! I live where the houses are close together too. Our neighbor works the midnight shift. His dogs would bark the minute he would leave and stop when he got home. I probably should have said something to him, but his wife passed away and I felt bad for him. I had a sonic dog repellant. It looked like an ordinary garage door opener. The dogs would stop barking when I pushed the button.

Sheila, it really IS snowing... The snow is so dry and fine. and you should get to your sunny destination asap!
-
Oh Ray! Sorry you have to do that. My Dr is suggesting Lupron for me next year, if I'm not in menopause. I think I'm OK with that, but I'm old. What has the tamox done to you?? I've been on it 4 years and have a love hate relationship with it!
Can breakfast be at 11? I really want to sleep in!
-
It is 7 and the roofers are still working - it's dark and cold and wet. And I want to go to sleep. Sheila - you never go to bed this early!!!
-
She's got a date with Sam!!
-
Sorry you've been sick, Diane. Hope you were able to have real food and feel back to normal soon!
Lupron, Linda? Yikes. Why not just tamox for the 10 yrs they are now saying is better than 5? I don't know what my Dr will suggest.
(((((((TOL)))))))
-
I am not familiar with Lupron...why is that needed?
And, who is Sam??Diane, I hope you feel back to normal soon. And I hope you find a way to sleep...it will be nice when the house is done.
nite...
