Thinking Out Loud.....

It' really cold on the west coast...weather in the US has flipped. I work with a climate change activist and we are told that if y'all can just hold out to the mid-end of the century, the weather in the northeast will be like South Carolina. However, the west coast is probably getting more clouds than usual which helps keep it cool.
Feel better, Rain...
Chris, what a change in your mom...it sounds like she has a ways to go but it will be good for her to move to a place where she can get therapy. Right now hospitals are not the place to be (or are they ever?).
Ray, it's so hard to wait...and the worry never really goes away. You look young and are on Tamox....am hoping you do not need any surgery, but it's different when there's a lot of life ahead to live vs. being older. I had a lumpectomy and I have lumps and scar tissue and radiation damage beneath the surface so i'm not likely to feel a lump. I know if I have recurrence I need Mx. If it's in the unaffected breast, I could still have a lumpectomy. I've had 1-1/2 years of pretty good health even through treatment, and I will face whatever I have to if anything.
I wish you the very best of health and a good report.
What's so good about BCO is that we can speak freely and without judgment...we don't have to worry about what people think or how they would react as long as we are considerate and empathetic.
To everyone here who has illness in the home or family, I send healing thoughts and prayers.
(((((Granny))))) of course our prayers are with you and your son. Save travels tomorrow.
Hi Val, I thought of you this week end when I drove to NJ just to see the DGds for a few hours. It was worth it.
They are growing so fast and I don't want to lose the magic!!! The 2 year old who always ran to my arms this time said "NO I want MOMMY" but i totally understand. They loved the birthday movie i made for her from my pix and videos.
Good night all,
JoanPS - sorry so long....if anyone finds a good wireless bra for sz. 38C+ let me know. I have Mondors disease (inflamed veins in chest) and this week it came back right where my underwire was pressing - the underwire had cracked and did its damage. Now am in soft pullover bra.
-
Good Night ......
-
Granny, hope everything goes well for your son, Ray hoping test comes back B9. Rain feel better soon. I'm runing way from home to get some sunshine and warmth. Will be back at the end of the month in time for the NW ladies if they are still on for the 2nd. Anyone know?

Ray, yes, I do think calling can make a difference. Explain to them that you had cancer and are having extreme anxity waiting!
-
Was thinking about that movie suggestion request - all I can say is I am embarrassed to admit that I watched Ted all the way through. Being a Boston girl, I appreciate and get the humor parts but I just cannot connect with a stuffed animal simulating sex with human beings or inanimate objects. OMG - am I TOO old?
-
Dinner at the beach........
-
Haven't seen Ted yet, but part of it was filmed in my home town. You're not old Diane. I cannot post the pic you emailed me......I can barely llook at it without gagging!!
-
-
Sorry it didn't work Diane!
-
Linda...were you trying to post Diane's email?
hahahahahaaa....in few years i might get there.......they say Breast might weigh about 3 pounds each or more........so I'm taking off 6 from my total weight
Diane ....Yes we are all maturing.....but our sense of humor is in tact.....
Ray...I hope you're wrong about the flu
-
I wish I could blame some of my weight on my breasts - lol. Considering how fat I am, you'd think SOME of it would have gone there. But nooooo.
Hope you're not getting sick, Ray.
Very bad day with my mother. She went to rehab and is now paranoid that she is there to stay and does not believe us that she really is there for therapy. She was very angry and mean today. So we get to head out in the snow or ice or whatever crap will be on the roads to enjoy her company tomorrow. I hope once she meets with the therapists and doctor and whoever else will see her that she gets it - though who knows how long she will remember... Before we left, we had her try to stand - just to try to show her how weak she is. She stood partway up and then plopped back down. Then she tried again and lost her balance a little and plopped back down. She was still mad.
I'm having some post nasal drip - think I might be getting my husband's cold. 2nd one in 3 weeks. Thanks.

Thanks Ray.....I had 3 separate biopsies in lifetime...First 2 were stereotactic...and I told them I want the answer throu phone....First one was on a Wednesday and they said result no later than Friday...
Im waiting by the phone....you all know that feeling....finally I called and the girl said that they were in a meeting.....I said half jokingly that I was almost having a heart attack......she took that face value
suddenly the DR is on the phone telling me it was B9
Second time DR called me...it was also B9
And the 3rd one which was a core biopsy whatever is called...I got a phone call...which we all knew it was positive even before.......Waiting is a killer........Thinking of you...♥
Sorry I shoudn't wrote life sucks....something happened with a family member that left me very sad & angry.....and I can't seem to come out from it because it's not resolved................
It's eating me alive.....
