Thinking Out Loud.....
Comments
-
Granny - I think that 3kidsmom posted about someone else passing - at least according to the angels thread.
Deb - I think I saw every one of those regularly - were you thinking about Mr. Ed?
We came to the cabin where it will go down to 7 tonight - I finally realized that I only burn food when I am here and that means it is the oven, not me
-
Oh this is nice we are all chatting tonight........
I know Apple from the Boards......sad.....and not fair......
♥
-
I'm retiring to watch some TV
Maybe some tea.....
Tomorrow will be a better day...
Good Night my friends....♥
-
Diane, I'll bet that's a relief to figure out that you are not the problem.
-
I am actually truly relieved - i thought I was losing my touch. At least the alarm didn't go off this time. I wonder if it's just a thermometer and is easily repaired.
-
Hi Ladies........its late, I'm tired, but just wanted to say......Hi, and take care of yourselves.........this flu thing is scary, and who would have thought in this day and age people would be dying from it.....................get your shots if you haven't......its still not too late...............will check in tomorrow with what is going on in the life of The Duck...................................hugs.
-
((( TOL )))
Nothing to say right now.......just wanted to let everyone know I'm thinking of you.
♥
-
Good Morning!
-
I am such a flu shot advocate having had the real flu twice in my life. But this year, because of the wedding and traveling to see Patch, I postponed it. I will have to find somewhere that still has some vacines.
DIL says the doctor has told her that anyone who will come into contact with the new baby should have a whooping cough booster.
-
Meece - if you have compromised immunity, asthma or a small baby, you should be able to find flu shot from a doctor's office. As for pertussis - my daughter and I caught it about 12 years ago and it was hell. It ran through her high school.
Your "friend" was just o tv again - ewwww.
-
I feel so sad we lost another sister Apple.......
RIP sweet sister.....
-
Diane...since when he became Meece's friend.....LOL
...hugs
We had issues with heat and water it's fixed now...I hate to be cold.....
Nothing new here......I didn't decide if i should have a lazy day....productive day...or take a walk under the rain
OMG I sound so boring.....
-
So sorry to hear about APple. RIP.
I tried to get flu shots for my son at his doctors office and then my husbands drs office. They are out! DH went to Walgreens and got a shot but couldn't get one for my son since you have to be 18 to get it at a pharmacy. I got up today and my sons fever was 103.7 YIKES!!
-
Linda - your poor family has had enough flu! Feel better.
Sheila, you can be both lazy and productive. Do productive first so you can feel good about being lazy.
Hugs TOL!
-
Thanks Diane. It has got to get better soon. My house stinks of bleach! Lucily today its in the 40's so I opened all the windows. Tomorrow is 50 so I will do that again. Next week the high on Thursday is 17. YUCK!!
Does anyone know Helen Neal? I got a linkedin request from this person who lives in PA. I don't know a Helen Neal, I don't think!
-
Hey Ducky---nice to see you check in.
I just read about Apple....sooo sad.
I just hate this damn disease.....find a cure/vacine....enuf.
-
I get those weird linked in requests too - they are people who do a mass request so they can increase their connections and improve their profile professionally.
-
I just figured it out, she is a friend of Sandys. But yes, I get some weird requests too!
-
I post on a thread often called: "So, what's for dinner". apple posted frequently on that also. We will miss her so much
-
Was told to check on the thread, "Has anyone heard from apple" for updates.
-
Who is a friend of mine....
Missed the pix...
Ducky...thinking of you
they are saying that the flu that is out was not included in the shot....
Chris where r u? check in please....702pm
Sandy
-
On the Today Show the doctor they interviewed says that yes, the flu going around is covered by this vaccine.
-
That's what I heard too Meece. And given the fact that me and 1 of my sons had the flu shot and are doing OK and my other son and DH did not get it, and are not doing OK, I think they're right! I have a very low grade fever, DH and DS have high fevers.
-
Chicken veggy soup for my sick friend and family..........
-
Mmm. I'm not sick but sure would like a bowl of that!
-
-
That soup looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel better already!
-
I made chicken soup with everything yesterday.....Had a big bowl....enjoyed it but I'm starving now...
I want so much to have the unmentionable food........
-
I am freezing! I can't imagine living in a real cold place!
-
Oh Meece...you read my mind...
After they fixed the boiler it broke again....and they fixed it...but my place is not getting to my desirable temp....
I hate cold.......I always did....Actually feel better and healthier in a warm temp
You know who you are please take me away from NY....please....please
