Lots of love, Dirty minded or not, love everyone.
May this Year bring You joy and happiness.
God be with You all going through chemo.
You are in good hands. and it is not Allstate.
-
This is so stupid. I have had the worst lower back pain than I can ever remember, not counting labor. It has made it nearly impossible to sleep and there is no relief. I have no idea what is causing it, but you know what is in the back of my mind. I guess there is no point you really "outgrow" the fear of cancer, once you have had it.
-
Foots...hahahahahaaa....AllState
So good to see you here...♥
Meece.......Maybe...holding Patch was stressful to your back.....♥
Did you have the pain before?
-
I hope you are not still needing Pepto, Meece. Maybe you hurt your back sitting for so long on the ride home? I hope the pain subsides soon, so your worry can too.((((((HUGS))))))
I hope you are feeling better soon, Sandy - and you too, Joan. Boy everyone is getting sick.
Linda - so sorry about your son's friend's mom. Too much cancer - especially in people so young.
After we talked to the doctor Saturday, we thought they wouldn't try to take her off the vent until Monday, but I got there after church today to find out they were already going through the process of doing it today. Her heart rate was still good when we left. And she was talking more. Some of what she said didn't make sense...I'm hoping that it was still the meds still working their way out of her system. And she did have bladder cancer, but it was low grade and not invasive, so they just follow her - doing a scope every 3 mos. And hopefully she won't start smoking again. That increases the risk greatly.
((((((TOL))))))
-
Thanks for the morning laugh Foots!! HAHAHA!!!
Feel better Meece.
Good morning all!
-
Happy Monday....lol
Thanks, canceled appt with gyno.....still have no voice and don't feel like going out...41deg here....what about you all? Ricola is my friend, ate toast w/jelly and chamomile tea (sp)

Sandy oh and have been up since 6...wth
-
Thanks, friends. My back has had pain for months, but nothing like yesterday and the 36 hours preceding it. Yesterday I got out one of those massagers you sit in a chair and lean back on. I used it several times for 10 minutes each. It didn't seem to work and I was really dreading going to bed because of the pain of lying down. But last night I pretty much slept through the night with a lot less pain. I know I need to go get it checked out. I think I will request an ANA test to check for something autoimmune. Since BC, I feel more like a hypochondriac.
I don't think picking up Patch was the problem, because the severe pain didn't show up until a few days after I stopped picking him up. It wasn't easy for the last two days I was there, I had to keep my distance from him so he wouldn't pick up whatever I had.
Sandy, I am also happy for you to have a job that gets you out and that you enjoy.
-
What do you think? Isn't he worth picking up and cuddling?
(I know, I am biased!)
-
Oh, talked to DS yesterday. He said he caught Patch standing at the door to the room we had stayed in. He was knocking and calling for Me ma. Awwwww! I want to go back!
-
OMG how cute is he...and how cute was that, he loves you....and did DS say what dil said?
Sandy
-
No, this DIL has grown up some, and she shares Patch pretty well. They would like to fly me back there for a week or so soon so I can help do things with DS that DIL can't do to get the nursery ready. DIL is already having minor issues with her BP. Got to keep her healthy.
-
Meece......I almost picked up the Computer to hug and squeeze him......
Beside being a handsome boy he has those loving and happy eyes....♥
Please take care of that pain Meece.....hugs
Sandy.....I hope you can find the MIA voice soon .....hugs
11:47 am.....Good Morning TOL
-
He is a very happy boy usually. DIL and I had him in the grocery store just about lunch and nap time. He had had enough and was having a melt down when I got my phone out, gave him my sunglasses, and told him I needed to take a picture.
You can still see evidence of tears on his cheeks.
-
Oh Meece - he is SO cute!
-
What a sweetheart.
-
I just saw a portion of this video on the news, and although most of us are past the toddler raising stage, it will bring back fun memories:
-
Here is another that made the news this morning:
-
Meece.....he is so adorable, so they are going to pay for you to fly to them to help.....cool, are you ok with that?
Thanks Shiela, that all this cold, sick crap mean it is going to be a long winter????
Sandy
-
I lost my post.....
checking in @ 6:43 pm
Santa delivered my package a while ago...the last one is coming on Wednesday
They had to make 2 shipments
Having a cup of tea.....
-
He is adorable, meece.
-
So adorable!!! Glad you slept through the night Meece!
What did you get Sheila???
-
Patch is precious. Such a cutie. Hope your back feels better soon.
I hope the sicknesses will go away soon too!
My mother seemed a little more alert when I got there this morning, but as the day wore on, she went back to being a bit out of it. I hope this isn't going to be her new normal.
-
I hope she was just tiring Chris. Thinking of you both!
-
Fluffy all cotton mattress pad...Now i can make my new bed as soon as someone helps me to turn the mattress over.........
Can of beans for dinner.........
(((Chris)))
-
Hey Sandy....I'm good, and thank heavens for the warmer temps we are suppose to get....watching my granddaughter tomorrow. Mom needs to go to work, and Makayla has a fever. Will be there all day. Hope your feeling ok. Hugs
-
Sandy, yes they indicated they would pay, since they know I am unemployed at the moment. I was finishing the painting they had started in their kitchen but got sick. It is so much closer to being done though. Someone...doesn't like to pain around the edges so I was doing that.
The nursery needs to be emtied of furnishings, painted, and the baby furniture moved in. DS is anything but helpless, but he'd like help, and I think he'd just like Mom around for a bit.
I think the flu has "left the building", I feel better today. Hope the pain doesn't rev up again at bedtime, but all in all it was a good day.
