-
after Christmas Meece?
I haven't put up a tree in 2 years, want to this year...have to buy one....the stupid tv that I had to pay for in the hospital (43.00) came at an unexpected time, living on a fixed income sucks!!! N the boys expect me to pay for their bodywash, shampoo and deoderant, really I would if they were nicer and treated me better, but tellling me I am the worst parent in the world isn't helping, so they are getting NOTHING for xmas again, this will be the 3rd year, oh well...don't have money anyway....sorry to vent...tree is for me...I have a little one for my room so I might just put that up!!!
It is 1025am time to get a shower, going out today and it is mom-mom and andrew day, get him when he is done school!!! Have a nice day!!
Sandy
-
Do it for yourself for sure, Sandy. Someday they may get the hint that their actions have consequences.
-
Sandy.....Put up the tree and sing around it and eat everything your heart desires........
(((Meece)))
Chris...I just heard the terrible school massacre in Norway CONN.....
Just post and let us know that the kids are OK

Heading out with friends for some Christmas cheer. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

I hope you can get a tree, Sandy.
Hope the onc appt went well, Sheila.

I have a ceramic tree my Mom made many years ago and her pink ribbon tree in the bay window in the living room. I posted that on FB and my tree in the family room, hearth is done and archway is done. No candles in the windows, just don't feel like putting those up.
I hope everyone is feeling well.

Your house must look so pretty, Deb!
I don't decorate anymore. We put up the tree and DD puts a few things around - and a wreath on the door - but no garland and lights on the porch railing or garland on the inside stair railing or advent calendars or candles or door swags... Just don't feel it anymore. DD puts the decorations on the tree now - I don't even do that anymore. They didn't cooperate several yrs in a row and I lost my xmas spirit.
Andrew AND DQ- doesn't get much better than that! Hope you had a great time!
Guy told me he'd call either way on Friday about the job. He didn't call... AND MIL had called asking me to take them on a couple errands - DH went instead so I could be home for the phone call and take DS to his ortho appt since going on the errands would make me cut it close for the appt. Then the guy didn't even call. Sigh.
Good news is - DS gets his braces off next month.

I stopped doing decorations, but I felt like I was ruining everybody's christmas and I wanted my kids to have good memories so....I started again....
Sandy
-
Well, I figured they are old enough - if they want decorations they can decorate. Somehow, I think I always end up putting the ornaments away, though... Plus, there has been another adult in this house who was capable of decorating if he chose to. AND if we are never going to finish any projects and finally put all our stuff away in an organized manner, I'm not climbing around and over stuff in the garage to get at the decorations anymore- let him do it. So he does the minimum and the house gets minimally decorated. Bah humbug.
My favorite jeans which they don't make anymore - the ones that fit me nicely - I can't find ANY jeans that fit me at all anymore - are about to split in the ass. Luckily I saw the weak spot before they had a chance to rip. But now I can't wear them anymore. I had been rotating between 2 pairs of jeans - one of which is really too short and my favorite pair. Now I have to try to find new jeans which aren't going to fit right and are going to make me look even fatter than I am - and will probably be way too long. If Short is 30", I'm good. 29" is too short and 32" is way too long. I have a feeling I will have to buy 32" and either wear them dragging on the ground or have to have them hemmed.
Sorry - I'm in a bad mood.
-
Here is the ceramic tree
-
Love your pics Deb!
-
Oh Deb....how beautiful your mother made that tree.Everything looks so festive.Enjoy.
-
Watching the Sunday news regarding the Newtown Families. So sad. May God bless the all.
-
We are watching it, too. It is so selfish of an act. I think the publicity the shooters get by having their name and bio on the tv all the time makes it look appealing to other disturbed people looking of their moment of fame.
-
That's true Meece. We need to get help for those people so things like this don't happen.
-
I think there should be some sort of a law that when MH prfessionals get a sense someone is even vocalizing anything that appears that someone could be capable of something like this, it should be manidtorily reported. We, the public, don't need to know the person's private MH info, but the authorities do.
-
Agreed!

wow, wonder if we will ever know what about the kids....Andrew is 6, I purposely went over sons (he was with his father) and hugged him alot.....
Don't think he was trying to be famous, don't think he cared....wonder what the relationship was with his father, his brother said he hadn't spoken to him in 2 years....
Sandy
