The kids paid for 1000 pics as well. They will both be 24 this Spring. They have been dating since 2005. Engaged for 23 months.

Hi gals...went for MRI today. They gave me a headset. I asked for country music. Friggin I Hope You'll Dance comes on, and that damn song always gets me teary. Ever try cleaning your runny eyes and snotty nose when you can't raise your arms, and some freak on the microphone is saying.....could you please stop moving, and then your wet face begins to itch from the sticky tear shit that ran down your face. .......ok I'm done bitching.
-
bitch away Ducky, where did you go, have to get a CT scan on Friday....going to media medical imaging don't have the money to park at Crozer.....I want a PET scan, haven't had one in 2 years.
Thanks guys for all your support, these boys are back to the way they were, do frustrating....I know they are scared, with my hair falling out and the pain, but cut me a break and leave me along.....I'm done..
we patiently wait for alot of things where our kids older especially, are concerned. On the positive note, the twins are going with my oldest to dinner and bowling tonight, countdown is on. No Adderall for the ADHD since Saturday, it has been a long couple of days......they are refilling it now...

Meecie, the pictures are absolutely beautiful! Did everything go as planned? Tell us more! Mother/Son dance, food, everything!
Hey ducky!! I'm probably the only one around who doesn't like that song, I Hope You Dance. Never have... What a mess to cry when in that dang machine!
Sandy, if I may ask, who are the beautiful ones in your avartar? DD's?? - grandson??
To all my beautiful Sisters, I am so Thankful for you all.
Have a Happy, beautiful Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my TOL friends!
-
Sandy.....went to Delaware County Memorial Hospital. They are great there. Valet parking is offered. I just tip the guy. Actually they never put my car in the lot. It stays right outside the door. Been doing that from day one of the cancer nightmare. My car and I are well known. Lol.........you have a great and blessed holiday. Hugs

Happy Thanksgiving!
Well, the turkey is cooked - will warm it up tomorrow. Apple pie is done - overdone, unfortunately. Now if only my spouse would get the rest of his crap off the dining room table so I can put the fall tablecloth on it (just in time for xmas) I'm so sick of the people that live in this house. (sorry, not thankful for the mess they have left for me to clean up/around). My parents will be coming over for Thanksgiving tomorrow.
There was talk of a plan to go see the Bond movie with H's brother. Guess no one followed through on that - doesn't look like it's happening. I was trying to plan my cleaning and cooking around it so I might be able to go. Oh well - I've got plenty to do. I don't know what is wrong with these people.
Sandy - hope the boys have fun and come home with a better attitude!

Up late here....left the side dishes until late....trying to talk to DS in CA for his 29th BD...no luck so will go to bed...I sent an ecard with gift card for now.
Congrats to all the recent MOBs...more details, please!
Sandy, so sorry about your pain...the MRi story reads like a novel...but...you can't make up this stuff! When I was doing rads I blasted rock music and played word games on my fingers so that I wouldn't get sad, scared, claustrophobic, or fidgety. No soft or sad music for me. It worked.
I wish everyone peace and health this Thanksgiving day. It is my favorite time of year...DS birthday e's in , turkey day, and my BD (was born on TG day but this year Sunday)...my grandson (22) came home for the week end looking so handsome...I couldn't stop looking at how he's grown up. He lived with me since 6 weeks old - am grateful. And DS from Chicago will be here in the morning. And I unexpectedly get to see DD#2 and my princesses (GDs). .
Thanks, TOL, for being so warm and friendly and smart and helpful and funny....and honest.
Have a wonderful day.Joan

Well, as for the wedding. Everything went well. I left the bride's cabin before I exploded on the MOH. Don't care if I ever see that witch again. Didn't want to say anything in front of the bride and ruin anything, but I was so mad I was shaking! Other than that episode, everything was beautiful.
I have "our song" with the boys, it is You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. I danced to it with DS1 at his wedding, and with DS3 on Saturday.
On Tuesday prior to the wedding I found out they had no boutineers or corsages ordered. DIL and I made 10 boutiniers on Friday night after the rehearsal dinner and I told DS to go to a florist in the AM and pick up 3. At around 10:30 Saturday a bridesmaid showed up and had the clutch purses in hand. I asked what they were for, and she said she was told I had the flowers for them. ???
I called Mom and SIL and asked them to come over ASAP. They got here in about an hour. The groom then came by with a couple bunches of roses and said he couldn't fine corsages. I set mother to work helping me baste the dress sashes in place, SIL and DIL made the corsages and flowers for the bridesmaids and I packed the car narrowly avoiding a meltdown.
An hour before the wedding the cake arrived, but they had not put the fresh roses on it, so there I went. I was so glad when everything was over. Oh, then someone asked me where the tossign bouquet was...I went over to a centerpiece, broke off the stick that was holding the ball of flowers in the vase and handed them the "tossing" bouquet. There you go!
-
They played on the James Bond theme, thus the spy cake topper.
-
My nephew caught this one of Patch in dismay over the flower girl making such a mess!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!

Ducky the problem is I don't have money to pay for parking....this month things happened that were unexpected and don't have money til te 3rd, had to borrow money off of DS to pay car insurance....it will be easier/better.... on and pix is of my granddaughters (oldest grandchild and next in line) and Zander who is 2 will be 3 in January...they are my oldest sons children....17, 14 and 2....lol, thanks for asking!!

Best of luck with the CT. When would yu be able to find out whether you an have a PET scan or not, Sandy?
-
-
OMG Meece! Does your new DIL know how lucky she is that she has you for a MIL?!!! I hope so. Sorry MOH made you so angry. What talent you have, Meece. I think you are in the wrong profession. You should be planning weddings! (Probably too stressful an idea, but still, you would make an awesome wedding planner/director!) If my kids ever get married, can I hire you to help with (run?) their weddings?
Joan, it sounds like you will be having a wonderful holiday. I hope you enjoy every second of it.
Sandy, is anyone having you over for the holiday? Good luck with the CT tomorrow.
I hope all my TOL friends have a wonderful day!

Good for you Meece!
Hope you are doing better Sandy. Good luck with the scan.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I got to meet my great neice today! Pics on FB. Love her!

thanks guys always seems like I am complaining, yea went to my sons......thanks for asking....
George just freaked out and threw a glass of milk over my head, need to figure something out with them can't deal with it much anymore....michael is with jamie at black friday....he was screaming at me telling me what a bad parent I am and that I never buy him anything or do anything for him and of course he pushed me and I called my son and he came and george wouldn't go with him, called me a pu y......michael called me a bitch the other day, george said it isn't all about me.....
Ct scan tomorrow where he can find out what the pain is, PET scan soon, he said it won't show anything that we need to know about the pain......
Sandy
-
Glad you went to your son's today. I hope you had a good time. Very sorry about the boys. Hope the scan shows what is wrong and that there is an easy and quick solution. ((((((((HUGS))))))))
-
Teenage boys can be so difficult Sandy. hang in there. They are going through a lot too. I hope it gets easier for you and the boys too!!
-
So sorry your boys are giving you such a bad time, Sandy. I hope other family members can step in an help you get help with them.
During the reception (forgive me if I wrote this before) I sat down and chatted with the woman who owns the venue. I told her I could be a pretty good wedding planner because the brides might feel compelled to follow my advice if they were paying for it.
DS2 said last night that he hopes he finds a "country" girl, because he'd like that type of wedding. I informed him that I would be happy to help, but I won't do it all! He quickly agreed. Could it be he saw smoke already coming from my ears?

(((Sandy))) (((Meece)))
Sandy, Your boys sound like my nephews, they gave my sister such a hard time she finally put them in custody with their father. Now he is dealing with them, called the cops 2X and had them aressted for fighting with eachother. The fathers a woos, can't deal with them. The oldest is 18 and will be sworn into the Marines on Monday. That will be a BIG wake up call. Next year the other one will be 18 and hopefully he will join in something. Otherwise they are loosers.
-
Hopefully the Marines will whip your nephew into shape. I don't really know the details, but I have a cousin who had a hard time in school. He joined the military (maybe National Guard) and it really helped him. He got a job in construction and then ended up running his own business. He did really well.
-
Meece that is a great idea.......use your talents, I have lots of things to fix, sew but don't want to, am crocheting more blankets...
Oh have to work at Macy's tomorrow, will get me out of the house, yay!!!
Michael wants to b a cop and has plans to join the police academy within they next year, he doesn't have a driver's license (required) and had to work out to make sure he physically can do it....George (the milk one last night) who knows, went to vo -tech...unfortunatelly they have ADHD and they are required to no be taking medication for a period of time AND he has a learning disability and do not thing the armed services will take him.....I checked....
It is just so hard with them, they were fine for a while and now boom again....
Went and got the CT scan, yes there is fluid, among other things, will wait to go to the drs. on tuesday to figure out where we go from here....goood thing is that the cancer in the lumbar spine is stable (they didn't check the neck) some other things came up, but the friggin liver is enlarged and the abcess and the septsis screwed up alot of things...
Sorry about the complaining again, nobody cares like you do.......
It is 305, took pain meds and going to lay down....hope all of you are well, and recuperating from thanksgiving...
