Thinking Out Loud.....

Wow, Sheila. That is some good news that your pain is becoming under control. Hope you are enjoying all of the shows you taped.
-
Oh, Sheila, I'm so happy the pain is lessening - a longer period of time between pain meds. Great! I can see you running out into the dark in your jacket & flip-flops, being in the store going around with a basket filling it with soft foods, I'm laughing...so cute! The things we do!!
I hope since you last posted two hours ago, you are continuing to do better.
-
I hope the pain stays away. We are glad to listen. If you are in pain, we want to know it. (((((Sheila)))))
Let me know if you see my DD's room on Hoarders...omg her room... I got tired of trying to get her to give me her laundry so I told her I'm turning her laundry over to her. She washed a load of jeans so far. In a slight effort to clean her room, she took some clothes out of her closet - I think they don't fit her anymore. I told her to put them in the other room with some pants that are too small for DS. Well, they got as far as the hallway outside her room- along with a bag of trash and some dirty clothes. I told her that when I told her to clean her room, I didn't mean to move all her stuff into the hallway. lol
-
Glad to hear you have been painfree!! Enjoy your soft food. I am still in my flip flops too. Sad daywhen I have to put them away!
-
I feel you are my family that we all live in a different part of the Country...♥
Slept straight 9 hours.......no pill yet......
It's 61 here...another flip flop day with pants......rain is coming .....
Nothing else is happening....just happy to see you all here....♥
Chris Hoarders was disgusting..I don't like it when dead rats and roaches involved....
Val...I actually pushed a shopping card...too much soft food was involved.....LOL
Are you off today Linda?

Just flying through with Hellos for everyone!!
Sheila, so glad you got a good sleep, yay!
-
I'm all stocked up...came home with more real softer food...including Avocado brown rice Sushi yummy
(((Val)))
-
Yay - no more pills!
Enjoy your flip flops while you still can. My feet are ugly, I don't wear flip flops in public unless I'm in a real hurry to run to the store or at the beach - which I also avoid because my body is ugly too. lol
-
Enjoy your pill free flip flop day. I am in shorts and a tank top. Just did a 5 mile walk and am so hot. This week the hot flashes are unreal! Must be extra hormonal.
Yes, I was off today, but on here, if you know what I mean.
Hope you have another pill free night!
-
Yea Shiela you are coming to the end of the pain management AND to feeling like your old self!!
Yea Val....always like when others get a clean one!!

Glad you are home, Sandy!
Glad you enjoyed your dinner - even if it took longer than usual... I tend to eat like I'm in a race or something - can't scarf the food down fast enough for some reason..

(( Sandy )) I know what you mean about the grandchildren. My little Mackenzie (at the time a little over 5 yrs) asks me on the phone a few days after I had just been visiting for a week, "Grandma, when are you coming back?"
Me: "Well, it will be a couple of months, honey. And, besides, Grandpa has to work."
GrD: "But I miss you."
Me: "I know, but I'll be back up in (insert month). The time will go by quickly."
GrD: "You can walk."
Me: "It's a long ways, honey. Seven hours."
GrD: "You just pack your suitcase, get your pillow and bed and you walk. I miss you."
This went on for another minute or two.
She was so serious, it was so endearing.
Sandy, I bet you miss them but I'm sure it's good to be home for a while.
-
Oh, that is so sweet, Val.
Sandy, So happy that you are easing back into normality.
I can't wait until my little GS can "miss me". That has to feel very good.
-
Sandy will be moving up the coast next weekend. Although I love a good Hurricane, last years week without power is still fresh in my mind. Be nice to us Sandy!! So glad to see you posting!
That is soooo sweet Val! She loves you alot!

DD showed me this earlier - I thought it was funny.
-
Funny!!! But, I do love math problems.
I heard that Sandy may become a super-storm next week and may be more damaging than the "Perfect Storm" of 1991. I hope she is kinder than that.
Glad the boys are looking for work. Glad you can go back and see your grandbabies, Sandy.
-
Thanks for the heads-up, Meece. I just read our local weather guys' technical discussion. What the?!!! http://www.wfsb.com/story/14905578/technical-discussions (they update that page am and pm, so the link might link to a later discussion this evening -but just in case anyone wanted to read what our local weather people are saying...)
I should have known the weather has been too quiet lately...
-
Here's what the Weather Channel is saying - (not sure if these links will change if they update their pages)
