Got them!! Thanks so much!
-
I started the escarole soup only to find out that i didn't have any canellini beans...it's half cooked...
Linda....Don't know much about peppers......hahahahaha your DH is right about the tomato plants....I will gladly borrow your hot flushes for tonight.........
-
Linda...the baby? Did I miss the announcement? Did your neice do well?
I kept a tomatoe plant inthe green house all winter long last winter. We are still having really warm weather but my garden is pretty much worn out. Unless you'd like yeallow pear tomatoes, got pleanty of those. Some red tomatoes and purple tomatillos. Need to prep my asparagus and see if I can get it back to producing for the fall.
I love Fall as it iswonderful soup weather. Out here comfort food isn't all that comforting in 100 degree weather.
-
Meece - I love fall because I get to make a lot of soup too!
We are still at the cabin - stalling the return to the apartment. It has warmed up to 34 - heard the elk bugling really early and have been awake since. DH and DD are heading up to the winery right now to sort grapes. We get to crush next weekend.
-
Hey ladies.............lost you all from my favorites list.........have no idea how, but i did.........got you all back now.
I bought an Ipad, and my grandaughter set that up..........honestly I should be ashamed of myself........sheis 11...............and really loses her patience with me, cause I'm so dense, and she is so smart it is scary...............the 2 of us are like "oil and water"...........i'm the bitchy Nannie, and the other Nanny is her favorite...........everyone says it comes from taking care of her for 11 years while her mother works...............guess I'm the bad guy who has to discipline, but if I don't it just makes my daughter's job that much harder.............we are always on the same page.
Well anyway, I'm back, and still wondering, "where the hell did I send everyone"..lol
-
Hey Ducky! Good you found us again!~
-
Glad you are back Ducky!!!
Diane so sorry for DD!

-
Good to hear from you Sandy!!
I love soup weather too! Not if it were 100 though.
It's a girl! Isabel Constance. They are doing just fine!
-
Sandy....hugs♥
Ducky...♥
I made another pot of red lentil soup and finished the escarole soup......
I have been cooking since yesterday just to get warm...finally we got heat
I cooked 7 different dishes none of them involves meat...DD is extremely happy...sent her home with containers
Life is quiet...exactly how i wanted to be
Anxiety got much better...heart is beating much lower
I took myself out from all of the aggravations and learning to live that I come first........
-
So happy for you Sheila!!!!!!!!!!
-
Thanks Linda.....♥
Did you squeeze the baby Isabel yet?
She is absolutely ready to communicate......:) I love that picture
-
I haven't seen her yet. They live about 5 hours from here, in Northern VT. Can't wait to hold her!
DH and I are going away for the weekend to the Hyannis Harbor Hotel on the water in Hyannis. It's our 21st anniversary. Can't wait but feel guilty for not cancelling and heading to VT!
-
No no guilt......You deserve this weekend and you need it...
I'm so happy for you that you will have this alone time with DH
Baby Isabel will still be here next week.....
Just take precaution...if you know what I mean......
Hugs♥
-
Sheila! You kill me!! You allways make me laugh!
I don't know when I'll be able to visit Isabel. I hope soon. that Italian, Catholic guilt is really getting to me! If I wasn't workingI would head up while the kids are in school!
-
Maybe you could go on one of your days off this week?
-
maybe you can skype or face time just to take the pressure off and get a partial fix/
-
Diane...I just read your DS's post about Hoarders......I watched it and it was really nauseating
i had to close my eyes on certain scenes...
Hi TOL
Tomorrow is MH @ 1 and Dentist @ 2.......another tooth will be pulled
-
((((((TOL))))))
been feeling crappy last few days. Been having some positional vertigo which then makes me feel queasy and I've been headachey - not sure if I've got a sinus thing going on too. And the usual acid reflux... And my back hurts from laying around on the couch trying not to move around too much. But my ankle isn't swollen, so that's good. I was worried the swelling was never going to stop, but now I think it might be almost gone.
That baby is SO precious! No wonder you want to see her, Linda.
Sandy - hope that cold (and the drain!) go away soon!
Good luck with the tooth tomorrow, Sheila.
-
Remember the tea bag, Sheila!
Your neice looks so alert, Linda! Looks like she's ready to have you take her shopping.
-
Good luck Sheila!
Chris - get thee to the doc - I think you are right, it fits ll my sinus infection symptoms. Sorry you feel like crap.
Hugs TOL.
-
hahahahahahahahaha......
I'm back home no pain or anything.....
Meece...Thanks reminding me about the tea bag...now if you can tell me what was I suppose to do with it
Next week I will have 3 more pulled......Tea bag might come very handy........
MH was done too.....She actually said I should take extra Klonopine when I needed......She always tells me that i like my MH DR not because of the Klonopine...........
Beautiful day...
Chris please make an appointment with your DR......♥
Sandy♥

Glad you're not in pain, Sheila. I didn't remember if you are to wet the tea bag, so I googled it. One site said, "moisten a tea bag with water and fold it in half and bite down on it for 30 minutes (the tannic acid in black tea helps stop bleeding)." http://www.dentalfearcentral.org/faq/healing/
I hope you don't need to use it.
I'm still dizzy - not as bad as Sunday - post nasal drip is still clear - so not sure about a sinus infection... my stomach has really been bothering me - I took a second Zantac (said I could take 2 in 24 hrs) and I do feel better. I don't know what is up with that...
Maybe I'll call the Dr. tomorrow. She never does anything for me, so I hesitate to spend the $150-$200 to go see her so she can do nothing for me- except maybe order tests that will show nothing, but cost me more money.
(((((((TOL)))))))
-
Call the Dr chris! That's what they're there for!
Love the smiley face Sheila, glad you had no pain!
Hows DD doing Diane? Anything new?
Meece, no time off this week. The other girl in the office is out. Small office, large manufacturing plant. Lots of people out in the plant, 3 people in the office.
Can't wait to meet my great neice!
-

HI, Sandy, hope you are feeling better.
Sheila, yes, Chris is right, you dampen the teabag.
Linda, I know the logistics of getting a day off in a small office. Next week...
Hi, Vanessa.
