Thinking Out Loud.....

Glad you had such a nice weekend, Diane. Just checked the radar- showers heading this way - I'd better head out for a run asap. I'll run/walk a little for you
I can't do too much - ankle gets tired - but now it seems it's my plantar faciia that want to act up again. Just can't stretch out my arches enough. ugh.
Hope DS (and you) got through prom weekend okay, Linda.
Hope you are finding yourself, Sheila

Lost and Found
Chris....you have a lot in your plate....Take care of yourself.....hugs ♥
I don't know what to do today......laundry was done yesterday......Have enough food...nothing on my list.....I can clean the house
It's drizzling....I can walk with an umbrella.....hate umbrellas.....
OK....I have to decide
-
Rain moved in too fast for me. Will have to do the elliptical.
I need to crawl under a rock and stay there. DD was upset because she didn't "sign" up to play assassins. Apparently whoever is organizing it sent invites on FB to seniors. She isn't FB friends with him so she didn't get an invite and couldn't find the FB page to request to join. It starts today. I don't know why she didn't just ask her friends to tell her what the page was. She was upset. So I called the school to tell them I'm pissed that she has effectively been excluded. Even though it isn't a school sanctioned event, everyone knows about it and it shouldn't be done so kids can't find the stupid FB page. I guess she's stupid for being out of touch and not getting her friends to tell her how to sign up. i wish I had just kept my mouth shut. I hate it when she gets upset about these things. If I complain, I shouldn't have said anything. If I don't complain, then I don't care and wouldn't help her. I can't win.
And yesterday, DS made yet another comment that I cause him anxiety - at the table when we were all playing Blurt. No, you are causing your own anxiety by not doing a God damned thing life requires you to do, you lazy, irresponsible, unmotivated, undisciplined *!??*!
Happy Mother's Day to me.

chris...Sometimes it's better to stay out of their problems...what I meant was the regular non sense things that they are causing it to themselves...I know it's not easy......Patience my friend.....♥
I did try to dust all the wires behind the computer OMG it looks like a war zone.....now my nose it's itchy....
I remember once the deposit was due on one of their college classes......I was constantly reminding her......Finally I give up and said to her you are at your own......
Night before the money is due she runs to me hysterically if I don't pay by tomorrow.. cant take the class....she was hysterical like it was my fault.....now it was her turn to be all aggravated......
-
Oh - all those computer wires...crazy how many of them there are... and they do like to collect dust.

Did you say your DD is graduating this month? Is she an undergrad or in grad school?
-
What I wrote about school was years ago.....lol
Yes she (DD in NY) has a degree in liberal arts but wants something else so she was in Community College the last 2 years...She is graduating or getting her degree
DD in Hawaii she has a degree in Social Work wanted to get her Masters...maybe one day......
She works with MH.....
-
I copied it from the other thread...too lazy to rewrite....
OK....Finally I will have a new Oncologist..made arrangements....will make an appointment tomorrow
I know someone who is Head NP for Oncology and she was also my neighbor for years...
Transition will be much easier...she was there when i was getting chemo....
I feel pretty good...we talked and asked her questions....have to go and sign release papers and the first time i will have a female DR....and very local right across where my other MO was........
Now I will belong again.
This Change of Insurance made me switch 3 of my DRs...but finally I know where I stand and to call if there is a problem.
Edited to say she is making all the arrangments no she won't be my DR..I will have a MO.
-
I'm glad you have your new doctors. Sounds like it worked out. ((((Sheila))))
Congrats to DD on graduating. is she already working?
-
chris...she's been working since she was 14 years old...i had to go City Hall and get a working permit...
she worked for Westchester country Club as a sous chef ....she is always doing something.
she worked for years as a receptionist with a Dermatologist.
-
Good for you Sheila! You will always belong here.
Chris, my kids are going to be the death of me too!

My first little sin.....
I had a very small slice of Cheese Cake...didn't even reach my stomach......

Everyone has been so busy here! I went to mom's to cook dinner yesterday and the power went out for 6 hours. Luckily her stove is gas, and we BBQ'd.
I jumped on FDIL and DS about how they don't have anything firmed up for the wedding except the location. Her mom just doesn't seemed at all concerned. I shouldn't be, but I want it to bee nice. She picked out a gown in February but wanted her mom and Maid of Honor to see it before she ordered it. The MOF just can't seem to schedule anything and I am afraid that the dress will no longer be available when we go there in 3 weeks to order it. Then she'll be upset and all I will be able to say (under my breath) is I told you so.
I Skyped with Patch yesterday. He is 11 months old today. We will be traveling to visit next month for his big 1st birthday. He is so precious and has drop dead gorgeous blue eyes. DS & DIL seem to be enjoying parenthood emensly and the little guy is a real happy baby. They are blessed.
When they are little you wonder what you'd do with out them, and when they hit teenaged years, you wonder why you had 'em.
-
Ain't that the truth.
Patch is almost a year old already?! Wow. He's such a cutie.
Hope everything works out with the dress. Hope you don't have to say I told you so...and that they plan ahead more so they don't drive you crazy.
mmmmm...cheesecake....
-
WOW!! Patch is almost a year. Can't believe it!
Good Morning all. It's going to pour again today.
-
Nobody is ever online when I am, so I seem to swoop in, make one post, and then I read the responses the following day. I feel like an absentee sister.
-
Good morning Meece!
-
Most of us are on the east coast, Meece. Please continue to stop in, we all love you! And RCG too!
-
(((((Meece)))))
-
Meece....You know my schedule is very similar as PT.
Don't go to bed before 1am...probably you are up before i do in the morning.......
We love you ♥
(((TOL)))
It's pouring as they predicted......no complain.......just grateful to be here.........
-
Chris, go and watch her, just don't tell her or let her see you.
It's going to rain soon here too. Soccer in the rain again...grr!
-
OMG...All we have to go through with teenagers.......
How are you doing Linda/ ♥
-
Do you have soccer this weekend? Sounds like the weather will be gorgeous.
Keep dry
-
Yes, I live and breathe soccer. We have soccer on Tues, twice on Fridays, once on Sat and once on Sunday. Thank God the Wed indoor league just ended!
I want to go to the beach on Sat. Have to figure out rides if I do. Sunday early evening we are going to my neices Grad party at a Yacht Club in RI. Can't wait!
-

The VA are such SOB's to deal with. The owner of the homecare I have which the VA pays for 20 hours per week called me and said my Dad's contract was up May 3rd. She made some phone calls and it looks like records from the Fitchburg VA Clinic went to the North Hampton VA in Leeds, MA. WTF. I don't know what that has to do with the contract but she is stating that she was told it may take a few months. I worked so hard to get him VA approved for homecare now I get kicked in the ass. So she is going to start billing my Dad for her services. All she does is complain on how much work it is for them and it takes 2 of the nurses to get him into the shower and he is always soaked with urine and sometimes the other, complaining about the other CNA nurses in the assisted living about them not doing their job in helping my Dad, it is beginning to stress me out. Didn't sleep well last night, made a few phone calls from work which I am not suppose to because I am the front desk receptionist and it is frowned on taking personal calls but I really don't have a choice. Time for a happy pill and a sleeping pill.
-
OCF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad to hear you had a great time!!!
-
Looks like I missed everyone again. We had Mexican food tonight. Came home and I decided to get on the computer. Due to getting up early for work I usually turn the lights out around 9.
-
I dont blame you Meece. I stay up till about 11 because the kids keep me up. Then I have to get up at 5:45 and I'm tired.
Crappy day again. Rain, rain, go away!
Had 13,000 gallons of water delivered yesterday for 450.00 for the pool. Must have a leak because about 5,000 gallons are in my back yard! UGH!
