Thinking Out Loud.....

Happy Birthday dear Sheila!!! I hope you have a very fun day
-
I hate change!!!!
-
DS and GF broke up today....3 days before the Prom. DRAMA!!!! And a whole bunch of wasted money. Can't wait to deal with this tonight!
-
WHAT DID THEY DO?!!!!! SO not better...
Happy Birthday, Sheila! Hope you are enjoying the day!
-
omg - so sorry, Linda.
-
My first post was about this change...DISLIKE!
I'm having problems with my phone. Keeps dropping calls. I can't call the phone company because the call gets DROPPED!!! Don't want to waste my minutes on my cell to call. Wanted to switch to cable phone, but I need to CALL to find out which deal I should try to get. They are always advertising bundles. I tried the online chat, but she can only do the online offers. Why do they do that? You get one thing online and something else over the phone and still something else at the brick and mortar location. It should all be the same! Now I think I might DRIVE to the cable company office to try to find out how I can switch to their phone service. Technology makes things so convenient.

I hope your son goes anyway. Any girls he knows he can go with as friends?
DD is starting to finalize her plans. Table with her group of friends is full, but one of them isn't going in the limo. So she's going to go in the limo with one set of friends and then sit with another set of friends. Typical of my life. Guess I'm just glad she gets along with people enough she can move around like that.
Did I ever tell you what SHE is doing for her prom(s)? She had already asked her ex-boyfriend to go with her to her prom before she started seeing her boyfriend. Her ex has a girlfriend. I figured he'd be fine with not going. I thought he was doing it as a favor and would actually be relieved she had a boyfriend to go with. Nope - not them. She didn't want to un-invite him, so she's still going with him to her prom and then going with her boyfriend to his prom with him the next night. So now I'm wondering what she will do after the first prom. Don't want her out too late or she'll be too tired for the next prom the next day- but don't want her going home too early and cutting the night short after her ex went out of his way to get a tux to go with her...
He's home from college now - wanted to stop by to see her dress (before he gets his tux?). So he's still into going. These kids are so weird.
Man, I'm sorry they broke up right before the prom... Is he okay? Was it mutual?
-
Wow!! YOu have drama too!
-
Now I'm glad she didn't go to prom last year since I had to buy 2 dresses this year! She should probably have a nice necklace to wear... I'm so not good at this stuff. I'm afraid to even think about her getting married someday. I hope I will have recovered from raising them before I have to deal with that. Not sure I will ever recover though. Being a parent is traumatic!

Dislike & Confused
I didn't like my Birthday present....requires some studying so I can still find you..........
Linda....I'm praying for you....Make sure you have enough Vodka and junk food to get over tonight.......
Chris....you can use some peace of mind.....
thanks for Birthday Wishes

Not only do I dislike change, but I don't like that I didn't know it would happen and that I have to figure out yet something else. So since I can't change it, I will just adjust as expected.
Linda - that totally sucks. Our high school had a rule that if you ditch someone before the prom, you can go but not with another date. Also had a rule that if you turned someone down, you had to go alone. That was stopped as soon as the freshman girls started asking the senior boys before anyone had a chance to even think about it
DS heard that a freshman was going to ask him that night (to whatever the girl ask guy one is called) so he called a friend and by 5 pm something else had been arranged so he could say no and still go.
Chris - your daughter keeps her word - that is a good thing, even if she doesn't do her laundry and other chores as desired.
What happened to Deb - I haven't seen her here since my return.
For the first time in about six weeks, I have the house to myself. DD is at work, FIL flew home, and DH is at a meeting. So, so nice to be alone a little.

I don't like that wasted area on the left .....I wish they expand the page in full.
OK...finished complaining......
DR didn't call back....I'm feeling better heart-wise....no irregular heart beats and strange feelings in my heart......i'm more convinced that this was and is a MH related issue....
i wait and see...yes I'm taking a very small extra amount for my anxiety
lalalalalalalalalalalalalalala

If I'm lost here you know where else you can find me........
-
Glad you're been feeling better. Sounded like panic attacks -
I don't like the wasted space on the side either. I also don't like how big the type is - don't want nosy people reading over my shoulder from across the room. I don't like the lighter color background - hard on the eyes. I liked it better before.
Why is everyone changing the format of everything? Weather Channel changed the 10-day forecast so you can't see it all in one glance anymore.
Everyone seems to want to change things to vertical.
Hope you enjoy the peace and quiet, Diane.

I want the old page page. These pages are too busy.
DS will be home around 9 tonight and then my drama will begin. He already told me he's not going. I wish he would. The two have so much drama going on they could be back together and broken up again before the prom.
DEb??? Where are you???
Enjoy your time!
Sheila, you made me laugh.HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN!!!
-
They should call a truce and not speak until prom and then go. Are they both in the same class or is one of them a guest?
-
Same class. They are NOT going together. Her Mom called and told me she just bought her own ticket and cancelled his flowers. He won't be going. What a waste of money!
-
I hope he isn't not going because of her. He should do his own thing and forget about her. ((((((Linda)))))) ♥
-
How is the birthday girl doing? Enjoying some GF and Sam?
-
happy birthday shiela and I hate this new stuff...and don't like change eithre.....it is 901
-
I found myself back on the board........
Linda...I have no words for the situation than Everything happens for a reason if it makes sense to you.....they get over it but it won't be easy for a while for him and the family. (((MAKRATZ FAMILY))) ♥
christ.....I'm still pure no GF or sam.....except Friday night we are going to Chinese Buffet....DD says as long as I stay away from fried food I'll be fine......More water please
Sandy....i don't do well with change either...for some reason FB's Timeline didn't upset me because I'm not lost there......what is that numbers in red next to my profile....I know what they are but want to delete it........
As long as we have each other everything will be OK....♥
-
Hi Sandy, Hope you are doing well. Get some rest my friend!
Sheilas out on a date with BBB, she'll be making him breakfast. Or maybe he'll be making her breakfast. Ya, lets go with that!
DS is not going because he does not want to. He was only going to please her. His quote from tonight??? 15 months of my life in the shitter. Sweet boy!
-
I was very happy to hear from both FSIL (one is maybe-sure) but i don't want him to go anywhere...he is one of the genuine, down to Earth person i ever met....He reminds me of Joe
God Bless the children....maybe what i wasn't able accomplish in my life my daughters will achieve....♥♥♥
OK getting mushy.........
-
This new crap stinks...............what the hell were they thinking...............If something is working, why change it.....................I hate it, hate it, hate it.................love our other way of sending our messages..................
-
i hate it to, might make me come on here lesss...
-
there is a topic where you can say whether you want the old one back.....go to all topics and search...
-
Don't leave, Sandy. We all need to know how you are! Hopefully they will keep working on it - although it would be nice if they would put it back the way it was while they fixed it...
I need to do errands. I don't want to. I'm such a hermit.
-
I found you all @ 12:03 pm...
Now let's think this over NOBODY'S leaving TOL
